Politics / Re: Godwin Emefiele's Unconstitutional Detention : Why Is Peter Obi Silent? by Landowner101(m): 1:37pm On Jul 23, 2023
worksmart:
Tinubu suspended a sitting and independent CBN governor for political reasons.

Most people now understand that Emefiele was illegally suspended and is being illegally detained.

But the person best positioned to call out Tinubu, Peter Obi, is deafeningly silent on the issue.

This would tell you that Obi is not serious, he is just playing out his script to the gallery as are most other politicians in the country.

Even the suffering and hardship people are going through , he has only given half-hearted lip service against.

Please nobody should never be fighting or losing their life on top of Obi or Tinubu matter. These politicians are dining , drinking and sharing our common wealth together amongst themselves behind closed doors.,

Obi still has an unfinished case with Tinubu, and he isn't in the right place to meddle in the family affair of apc members.

Politics / Re: Tinubu And His Lack Of Media Management by Landowner101(m): 10:41am On Jul 23, 2023

grin

With all the coordinated machinery on various media platforms, most of which were deployed for PMB, and later used for the 2023 elections, used to mobilize hate for SE and SS, someone now wants to blame the media for the spike in APC's unpopularity?

It is not the media, jare. People are feeling the heat from his unpopular half-baked, not-well-thought-out policies.

They are now seeing him for who he really is. A wonderful tax collector without an atom of compassion for people.

He hit the ground running with what he knows best, removing subsidy and floating the naira. Between the subsidy removal and new exchange rate, there is now a huge amount of money to share.

But this is where the men are separated from the boys. Good governance is not just about raising money. It is more about how the resources are deployed for the common good, and here, he falls flat on his face. Who would believe he even had the temerity to start taxing PMS and AGO immediately?

Lagos State for instance has the highest IGR in Nigeria, yet they also have the highest indebtedness of any state. Yet we in Lagos do for ourselves, everything the government should be doing for us. Name it - Education, primary healthcare, even down to security in our estates. It was all there for all to see.

So you guys should stop complaining. Face it, do an introspection and admit to yourselves, even if never to us - the media is not the problem. Tinubu's lack of what it takes to change people's lives for the better is the problem.

Know this and know peace.

I compliment your use of words and how you write.

All what you wrote is just the truth, Tinubu has nothing to offer.

As a corper serving in this regime, I do pity most keke drivers as most of them have dump keke napep due to high cost of petrol, each day I go for CDS, old men and women will be walk to their various businesses . Some with their bicycles. My monthly allowance can't even last for two (2) weeks, car owners no longer drive their cars, most are already buying new bycicles as an alternative. Cost of feeding is skyrocketing.

It's really a bad experience to say the truth. The president isn't that smart as I think. It's just two months and things are really this bad. I wonder how things will be in months to come. I already gave up on Nigeria

Hopefully when through with my service, I'll japa like my mates.

You come to the west for better education and better life wink 3 out of the 5 first generation universities are in the west. Even university rankings confirm that the best universities in Nigeria are in the west. Those who want the best education will naturally gravitate to where they can have it. What we have as advantage is that most Yoruba parents will rather go hungry and wear worn clothes than deny their children of education in these our top universities.

So you want yoruba parents to go hungry and wear worn clothes, for their children to go to school because Tinubu is the president.

Shame no dey catch some people self, see as they are comparing an oil producing country to Ghana of yesterday. Please try comparing oil producing countries and also get the rate at which their citizens buy petrol, then try to get their minimum wage. That's when you'll realize that some people just choose to be foolish and stupid when trying to defend evil.

Philgafauto:

We go see who go cry in the next few weeks when the Court hands down its decision.

You think this is about tribalism? Do you know how many millions of Yoruba youths abandoned Tinubu to vote for Peter Obi?

Anyways, most of us liberal yorubas don come back home anyways and we have no choice but to support the current administration.

Peter Obi was never going to be allowed to win anyways due to his tribe but Nigerians still rallied around him. But at this juncture, we done tire because he comes from a disorganised and confused region. If they had any power or leverage in Nigeria, their son would not have been brazenly robbed of his mandate.

But it is a dog-eat-dog world, isnt it?

All this emotional doings won't work, we the sensible youths want a better Nigeria, and someone that bought his way to the presidency can give us that.

Politics / Re: WE HAVE ARRIVED AT A LEGAL DEAD END OF THE OBIDIENT MOVEMENT by Landowner101(m): 8:27pm On Jul 16, 2023
Philgafauto:
First of all, i will start by saying Non-Igbo supporters of Peter Obi really tried for him during the election period. For example, I as a yoruba man made many enemies because I supported Peter Obi. But that is in the past now.

The crux of this write up is that Peter Obi wasted a rare opportunity of utilizing the unity of Nigerians caused by Buhari's misrule to galvanize real change. Since he knew he will be cheated, why did Peter Obi not mend fences with the Igbo elites and perhaps his IPOB brothers to instigate some sort of uprising after should he be cheated? I attribute that to the disorganization and powerless position igbos have found themselves in Nigeria. Igbos are confused, disorganized, defeated and disoriented in handling their regional and collective affairs in Nigeria. Most Igbos are now refugees in other regions having fled their own region due to conflict. Their wahala is a self-inflicted one because they are a very arrogant and disunited people. I know Peter Obi won that election but he is a small boy to Tinubu and he cannot fight him in any way, shape or form. It is a sad reality we all have to deal with. State capture is real.

As for the case in Court, having read the final written address by Chief Wole Olanipekun (SAN) i can categorically state that the petition will be dismissed because there is no way that any Court of law will rule in favor of Peter Obi given the plethora of legal and evidentiary issues plaguing Peter Obi's petition as dissected in that final written address (I urge every interested person to read and digest that Final Written Address). The doctrine of covering the field was used to block all legal loopholes in Tinubu's case and he is well guarded. I cannot wait for the response from Obi's legal team and i cant preempt their written address by stating that they wont have any cogent points but to try and distinguish the legal authorities cited by Olanipekun & APC's legal team. They have Peter Obi cornered already.

Even if there were no legal issues bedeviling the Peter Obi's petition, the Courts will still rule against Peter Obi and nothing will happen. Peter Obi does not have any extensive network, neither does he come from a strong region which can trouble Nigeria. Heck, even Igbo elites are not on his side because as a people, Igbos dont just have any leverage in Nigeria. They cannot shake things up.

I know Igbos and Obidients (mainly made up of IPOB remnants now since other non-igbos have left the movement) will insult me for saying the truth but the truth must still be said.

My advice is for everybody to move on and not hope for any favorable judgment from the Court. The petition will be dismissed with punitive costs for being frivolous, speculative and time wasting.

Wishing everyone a nice week ahead.

Stop crying na 😭😭😭

You're suffering from Ulcer from what you just wrote now, please don't depend on those recommended drugs that they prescribed to you. As it will make you always dependent on it, When I was suffering from Ulcer I did all sort of mixture like soaking unripe plantain/banana, Eating raw plantain and raw Okra, soaking unripe pawpaw in water, all this things work but after some months the symptoms of Ulcer kept coming back, Until an external wisdom told me to buy original honey and grind washed pawpaw leaf, then I mixed the both (Honey and grounded pawpaw leaf).

Since 2021 I haven't seen or had any ulcer related symptoms or problem.

Just apply the recipe for ulcer I just gave you and make sure it's an original honey.

How to know an original honey, take some quantity of honey and put it in a cup(glass cup) filled with water. The honey flows directly to the bottom of the water without mixing with the water.

Pray God heals you.

i don’t know what you’re talking about. Ozokoye my friend got a contract work at Alex Ekwueme teaching hospital in Ebonyi but couldn’t resume last two weeks Monday simply because no single park was opened in Enugu for him to board.

On that same Monday I sent a waybill package from Ebonyi park to Uyo in Akwa Ibom state.

I am from Ohaukwu LGA in Ebonyi

Normal daily activities do commence from 4pm on Sit at home days here, that's true but what I don't witness is the Killings they do post on Social media.

it doesn’t matter what truly goes on. What Media reports will determine how investors perceive your region. Investors don’t call you to know state of security, they use Media. And if media reports are negative they won’t invest in ur state, employ people and pay tax.

That's the propaganda the person that created this thread was talking about.

I think you believe that most negative news from the media about the south east are lies

The most shocking aspect is that we that base in the south east don't experience most lies they post here, currently serving in Enugu state, I swear the place sweet die, No disturbance and everywhere is peaceful here, On Mondays we just find one local joint and relax ourselves. Then I'll check on Nairaland frontpage and start seeing how IPOB killed 7 people in Enugu, while we that were there haven't seen anyone with sticks, talk more of gun. This keep me wondering where they manufacture their own IPOB. grin
