Oh I see. Looks like the system is down everyday because this was yesterday and today (different instances). They are literally charging each person 22,500.

I attempted to book another appointment and then reached payment point and stopped. Then i tried entering the old payment reference code but it was not recognized

Before then I had done a chat with that chat icon by the right end and followed the prompt and told them i had previously paid mrv fees.

I didn't pay any new money on the new site.

Did the registration yesterday and got a date in email this morning for 18th nextweek

If you have a case of 221g temporary refusal, do not rush to pay another money to book appointment since you can't book appointment there without payment.

Use the navigator, send the office admin an email, register on the new site and wait a bit

They are likely to respond to you with a new date via email.

1. Your 221g slip should contain specific instructions. Some will require you to submit via e-mail , while some will require physical drop-off, and some require physical appearance again.

2. For physical appearance or drop off, visit the new website AVITS ..

* Pay MRV with the chosen option
* Wait for payment confirmation (24 hrs)
* Proceed with appointment scheduling.

3. When you are through above, you will receive IW qualification letter , as well as option of picking your drop off date .

Then, visit OIS for the 2nd phase.

* You will use your IW qualification letter and other confirmation from AVITS to book another drop-off appointment date with OIS. The next step would be, to go and drop the required document at OIS office.

I won't advise you to withdraw the application as resubmitting puts your application afresh into the processing log.

Send a webform again - Politely ask about the status of your application and include a statement about If any additional document or clarification to support the visa officer completing the processing of the application is required, you will provide it promptly.
(IRCC is like a grizzly bear, don't poke it too much or your file will be reviewed in some sort of biased way - speaking from experience).

In addition, if you had the US visa after applying in August 2022, add it to the webform: include a scanned page of the visa and any stamped pages that show you traveled there and left before the end of the authorized stay period.

We are all in the same boat waiting, IRCC teaches us the definition of patience.

Both are not needed. They’ll run der background checks, medical isn’t needed for visit visa since you’re not using up to 6 months.

No visa details on your IRCC dashboard means your application is under process, yet to be approved. I’d advise you focus on retrieving your passport.

There's currently no other way to reach them here except via email, so send to Lagos and even Nairobi.

Please, how many days later did you get the message to disregard the PPR and what is your timeline like? When did you submit an application and when did you get PPR?

I am about to book a flight for my mom, so I need to know if I should hold on. I am so scared right now. She got PPR yesterday but no visa details on the tracker.

Also, can you check the IRCC Portal where you submitted the application to see if the visa approved status has changed?

If there isn't any visa number on the IRCC tracking portal, maybe the PPR letter might have sent erroneously and your application is still being reviewed.

In this case and because you've paid for tickets, maybe send webforms and emails to Lagos and Abuja with subject starting with URGENT. They review these and if deemed urgent by them, respond between 24 - 48hours.

The duration varies and from others timelines, you are still within the 2 - 3 weeks it used to take (note that some have also confirmed it's been faster recently).

Whilst I hear people complaining about the chat team, you can try to reach them for further details or even write to embassy directly if you have an urgent trip planned.

Doubt anyone here can help further as the status is updated based on the movement of your passport.

Its Weekend. They would not check emails as today is Rest day. Positive send an email to them come Monday. Especially very early in the morning. Kenya is about 2 Hours ahead of Nigeria. You can schedule then and send emails to them.

This is an unusual case. But since you've already submitted your passport, wait and see what happens.

Also, have you tracked your visa application to see if your profile already lists your visa number and expiration date?

Those are the sure ones, Do resend them an email again on those. They would be sure to reach out.

Try to see if you can place a call to get actual situation of things.
As far as I know, there appear to be no challenges, but being on safer sides is better. Place a call with your tracking / reference number could straighten out most things.

Hi everyone, please I got PPR 26th June for 5 family members , passport submitted thru dhl on 27th , confirmation and tracking number received 3rd and 4th July . All of a sudden today 7th July I got the below letter saying I should disregards the passport submission letter this is after I have sent passport and no update about this on the Vfs tracking .

Can someone please help explain what this means ☹️☹️☹️☹️
