the UK is the divorce hotspot of the planet.

don't jump to conclusion of saying the reason she filed there is that she wants to take 50 percent of his wealth.

There maybe a genuine reason like: she's been living in UK for 16 years, its definitely more convenient for her to file over there. Just imagined if she tried to file in Nigeria. She will be eaten alive with the intensity of animosity.

also she will definitely want to be take care of. I won't want to believe that she'll be demanding for 50 percent of his wealth.

But sha, time will tell.

Eruditor: What did he mean? That service was a communion service and he didn't teach on only that aspect. Please listen to someone who has known him over the years.

He has taught consistently on how divorces are not from God let alone taking another Christian to court. But if for example, PFN sue him will he not have to go to court even if it is against what he teaches?

That's a general teaching. The man said Christians are not to go down the divorce line but it doesn't mean some will not go down that line. The fact that they have gone doesn't make it right for it is inconsistent with the teachings of God.

Now tell me that his wife of more than 21years doesn't know this aspect of scripture that she would now first of all file a lawsuit and then tell her lawyers to go to the media and tell them about "Adultery and inappropriate relationships with female members". Please tell me how so.

I told you that the man is so anointed to the point that any mistake he makes can cause him to die on the spot. If you people could only understand.

This man, you really are impossible. it wasn't a general teaching. He was specifically taking about the divorce issue between him and his wife.

After he had finished with question a.d answering session, he began by saying " “I heard that some media houses –

he said. “

So please stop treating us as if we don't have brain to reason with.

What he was saying was quite clear: that divorce is wrong. Christians should take each other to court for divorce, but sometimes you have no choice about it because someone is taking you there.

So in essence, I don't believe in divorce, I'm not filing for divorce. Its my wife that filed for and has taken me to court, so I have no choice in the matter.

My goal anyway is to say even prove that even Pastor Chris himself admits that his wife has indeed filed for divorce, and stand here saying there is nothing like that, that it's just a figment of imagination and fabrication of the press.

You really jare impossible.

I was right when I said something is not right with your sense of reasoning. She is not seeking for divorce, the media told us that?

Even Pastor Chris during the said communion service had said so. He indicates that he was indeed in the process divorce proceedings.

Here is is excerpt from his speech below:

This man and his wife have been this way for 15 years and they still made it work because God knows how to make provision for the one's he sent.

Among several things, it says the marriage has broken down beyond repair, and you say the wife is not hurt. where are you from. the divorce suit is in the public domain and I'm yet to hear the law firm representing Rev. Anita come ouy to deny that it wasnt the suit they filed.

it is there in print in THIS DAY. THIS DAY says a copy of the suit is in its possessions. I didn't say it. THIS DAY said and its a reputable and BIG newspaper.

Well I guess THIS DAY must be LIEING then. They simply put pen to paper and came out with their own version of the divorce suit filed by Anita lawyers.

Maybe we should leave business empire and other things alone and not divert the issue or things will become jumbles up.

One thing me I can say can infered from his response is that does not seem at all to be desirous of his wife. You can see that he feels no personal pain at the impending loss of his wise. There absolutely no detection in his words or behaviour of man that fighting for his marriage because loves and cherishes his wife. It's like "well if she wants to go, let her to jare; maybe it's for the best".

A man that is not desirous of his wife must definitely be enjoying the company of another woman he finds more stimulating; it does not natter whether they are sleeping together or not.

my point is, it doesn't seem like he loves his wife at all. For example if he doesn't want Anita to divorce him, how would his address to the church help matters. it would only make her more determined to pursue her cause of action. I believe Anita is Avery emotional and soft hearted woman and it's in Pastor Chris power to make heart tore out if he would do the right thing.

like someone said, why not say alright come and stay in Lagos with me; we will not live apart again. okay, come you women in my house, please leave, or get them another quarters; then

That both of them has been living separately for 16 yrs is a statement of fact.
That his wife isn't happy with such and part of the core reason why she wants divorce is a fact.
That Anita crave for more loving from her husband is also true.

this is not a woman that feels insecure.... insecurity in this case will be for her to be in the loving arms and continuous company of her husband and yet feel that her husband does not care for her, yet feel threatened by other women

she's not insecure, she feels alienated and exterminated.....and Pastor Chris enjoys the company of other womenfolk who he's always surrounded by; and even at home if the reports we've been hearing are anything to go by.....it seems they are because so many church members have testified to it and even his wife has said so

His wife needs his love and attention which stubbornly refused to give for more than a decade, and not prayers and more prayers.

In order, all the concerns she raised were merely due to her immaturity and foolishness. I now understand the hell this woman has been going through.

The question which begs answering his, why would any man talk less a man of God who is Pastor Chris insist from living continents away from his wife (and children) for so long that the years piled up to a total of SIXTEEN.

Anyway the divorce proceedings will soon start and the details will be known.

I know she has been trying to salvage what was left from the marriage but he kept accusing her of carnality for needing him.

Thankfully it is in London not nigeria so the truth will not hide except they request it and seeing they don't have small kids to protect the divorce proceedings would most likely be public.

The bible is clear to be a good pastor you must be a good husband in control of your home, maintain peace and harmony.

Accusing her of carnality for needing him? This errant nonsense. Is for only the purpose of sex that the wife will need her husband around? What of companionship the sort that only a man can give a woman and a woman can give a man. Even if Anita girlfriends they will have their own husbands that they need to attend to.

Then let's not view herself, a man would now and then crave female companionship (not necessarily for sex, though it's part of it). It's so apparent Pastor Chris has no use for his wife other than for him to appear as man of God who is married.

For him to have absolutely no need of his wife in this manner can only mean he is getting that companionship from somewhere else. Don't care what anyone says, that can only be the truth, even though there maybe no proof.

Then with all that has been raging on in their past two weeks, I hope the various ladies or assistants who they are residing in the white house have talked to their legs and vacate their place. Do they really need to be told?

Please aisha2, I would so muck like you to throw more light on this matter. Are you sure of what you are saying? Is it a matter of fact? Did it really happen? How did you come to learn of this?

I ask because since this matter started, I've wondered why Pastor Anita didn't abandoned London with her children and come to Lagos to stay with her husband. I believed this what any sensible woman will do rather than sit down and be complaining and be a victim. I though to myself, if she parks to the "White House" as they call it, there is nothing her husband can do. Will he drive her out with the children?

But if the above really happened, then I rest my case. Pastor Chris has truly being very wicked to his wife. Forget adultery; what he done to her for sixteen years if you think about is much more worse than adultery.

They are wives that have caught their husbands with other women, and they've had serious quarrels with the husband over the matter, but through the years they know their husbands have without a doubt made them happy through his live and attention; always being by her side, loving her, cherishing and adoring her.

A man who is comfortable living apart from his wife for 16 years can ta be said to adore or cherish his wife.

If the wife truly moved down and he left them house for her and she had no choice than to return back to London Pastor is definitely vengeful, vindictive towards his wife. What could she have done to warrant such emotional torture and treatment?

He abandoned the woman like a stale property for 16 years, marries to her only in name. Yet he refuse to mend his ways or change his stance, yet wants the woman to keep on putting up appearance as if all is well.

I don't kinw what fault this woman may have, but 99% of the blame goes to Pastor Chris. how many of you woman out there can stand for this?
