CHARLOE: U must be a pastor, don't mind them, dem wan spoil business for u sorry to dissappoint you. i am not a pastor, neither am i planning to be one any time soon. pastors who turn tithe to jeun jeun will have their own judgement. it won't be wise to follow those kinds of pastors to where they will end up, while giving flimsy excuse like "its this man of God wey dey chop tithe discourage me o!" .....and such persons will hear something like "na man of God die for you or abi na me?" THE WORD IS ENOUGH FOR THE WISE. |

I hate discussing issues like this in public forums. How can the carnal man/mind understand the things of God? they are foolishness to him/her. I am seeing even atheists on this thread dey argue tithe. wetin concern agbero with overload? smh! OP, if you are attending a church or fellowship were you are neither getting sound teachings from the pulpit nor able to meet any one better in understanding than you, then you better find another branch/parish/denomination. There's nothing like being around persons who can help you seek God for answers to your life questions, while giving you the support and encouragement you need. Without too much talk, the two are COMPLETELY DIFFERENT! If you are suspicious of the usefulness of your tithe in the church you are attending, better relocate. Don't listen to those who have lost faith in pastors. Both giving are important and attract their rewards, depending on your motive, the pastor over where you pay tithe (if he is called;serving God wholeheartedly), and the person(s) (either in church or outside) that is REALLY NEEDY. May God grant us all understanding and a heart of full obedience. |

President99: I do agree with most of your assertions. However, its beats my wildest imagination to see people who toiled, had nuptial meetings, put on spot light by media, humiliated and derided for APC are being jettisoned for Mamman Daura and Abba Kyari, the duo perhaps, never believed Buhari in as the 15millions who voted him did back then. Buhari is setting a bad precedence that could make it hard to believe any politician that calls for merger again. You are quite on point |

President99: Atleast the whole world knows that PMB is being held by a cabal who have neither APC membership card nor INEC voter's card and Abba Kyari once rejected Buhari's CPC secretary well, for me, she is stating the obvious, because they have been comprehensive reports before now of the over bearing control of those two monsters, even trying to control EFCC and other agencies of govt. not just in appointments. you see, the concept of cabalism exists in every sphere of management.from the family, office to institutions. there are certain persons that will always gain undue influence over leadership. do you think it is obama that is running america? for example? a concubine could even be a form of cabal running the public life of a man from #theotherroom. i have heard of someone securing a job in a big company, based on the recommendation of the gateman! he thanked his stars not to have belittled the gateman when he went to drop his cv. you see, by the time these cabal leave PMB alone, they will just be replaced by another: either an aisha-cabal, tinubu-cabal or osinbajo-cabal. where there is power and opportunities, there will always be either good or negative influence. we can only help in crutinizing and criticizing his decisions objectively to make him see the foolishness or wisdom in their control and overbearing actions on his government. at d end of the day, like dame patience-cabal in GEJ's administration, he will live with the consequences of their foolish or wise decisions. |

Ujoan: People need to understand that some partners are just not compatible . . . no matter how you want to look at it.
The fact that MR. A could not put up with my attitude and divorced me doesn't mean that Mr. B will divorce me for the same attitude.
If what you posted were true, then people shouldn't even date those who have broken up from any committed relationship in the past.
People may, in marriage, make the extra effort to make things work, but a doomed relationship will always be doomed, married or NOT. Its all depending on the attitude in question and the degree of unrepentant nastyness of the attitude. |

Toks2008: Sexual deprivation is a sin even in the bible but if i am a woman i will not just buy that excuse without asking some vital questions.
Infact i always love it when a new lady or man who wants to come into the life of a dirvocee to find a way of having a one on one conversation with teh ex of that person...sounds stupid but it makes sense as it will save one from avoidable heartbreak.
The bottom-line is that one should not just buy any pooh story but try to really find out what went down. Don't waste your time.the stubborn goats will never listen to intelligent advice. my sister almost fell for this. she almost married a "divorced" pastor in the name of desperation. today she is happily married. |

megareal: Truly, it was this interview that really gave me an indepth look into Aisha Buhari. I always thought of her as just another muzzled, subservient Muslim wife.
But the contrast to what I had believed is that she is smart and understands what goes on about her. I think she may have raised those issues with her husband, probably offered suggestions on how to tackle them and may have been rebuffed or chided.
That interview was her way of letting those hijackers know she is aware of them and their agenda, it was also a call to her husband to sit up and do something. Public criticism between couples no matter how right the issues are or the private frustrations, is and will never be the way to address them. |

jaymejate: I can't blame him cos that's how it is in the North. Their wives are Limited to kitchen and other rooms, even to enter the husbands bedroom, you must fill forms. That's the reason why this president keep saying this, but he should know he is saying it in a wrong way in the presence of wrong people and also at a wrong time. He should know that, his wife as the first lady can't just keep mute and be a kind of ghost. Not possible.
Many woman fought for the freedom of women so as to participate in the society and it's also to relieve the men.
Mr President, know this, what you're trying to do now is to limit the women. You're going back to the time of old. And also my own wife o will not be Limited to the kitchen, some rooms and other rooms, but will own the house as a whole and will also contribute to the society positively. Think well and make restitution privately i suggest
Women should say no to the #OtherRoom well, if your wife says no to the other room, other women will say yes! |
