I just refuse to be fooled. There is no sincerity in all these. The first sign of sincerity would have been dressing down the budget starting from Patience Jonathan's kitchen.Haba if person no be 'onigbese' how you go wan chop with N1b in a year? wetin dem wan chop? mammywater fish dey included ne? carry your appreciation go one place. Make she learn from auntie Dora na as she take popular she take gentle.

The way she was fanning herself at the debate over fuel subsidy removal, it was obvious she knew the heat was coming her way.

Politics / Re: Developing Story: Labour To Meet At 1pm by largie(f): 7:50pm On Jan 16, 2012
The issue here is not the fuel subsidy removal but the double standard. From the 2012 budget Jonathan's kitchen would whoop up N1b with other uncalled for allocations then you turn around and tell us to pay this much because we want to restructure? Why wont he go back to N65 and call for well meaning Nigerians to deliberate since the budget can accommodate N65 till March and after that put it at the agreed price? Charity begins at home but not in the sense of asking most Nigerians to go on 0-0-1 meal formula and you are parading with the biggest meal portion in front of hungry people. That 25% cut in basic salary is not the right cut, snap off the allowances.

Jonathan is not doing the right thing, he should tell those soldiers to shot Yorubas at sight.
You can't even type right. What singular effort have you made to stop corruption with all these stories you are repeating here? If you knew when Awolowo started corruption and you have your facts right kindly lead the cause to bring him to book. Afterall his empire will be able to pay Nigeria back through you.

Politics / Re: Facts You Must Know By Pst Tunde Bakare by largie(f): 8:34pm On Jan 15, 2012
I don't know why some people choose to believe lies.Buhari and Tam David-West that have been there before these liars told us there is nothing like subsidy.Fuel was sold to us when they were there and there were no subsidy stories. The fact is that we are at the brink of collapse even a day old child at the hospital knows the cause. Corruption is our main issue. Why don't we stem that and that is going to take care of all the subsidy issue.
What is so hard for GEJ to understand in going back to N65 convene a meeting with well meaning Nigerians on way to go ,let every sector even students be represented.Let there be no allowances except transportation, accommodation and  feeding be made available to them. These group will cut down all the allowances given to Past and Present Presidents and Heads of States,Ministers,Governors and Lawmakers at all levels. No official should be allowed Treatment out of the country except when it is inevitable. The take home pay of all elected officers should be made as unattractive as possible so that who ever contests would know they are really there to serve. The kitchen allowance for GEJ be scrapped immediately cos if he ate as a kid on a fisherman's budget and did not die he will still live well on a teacher's budget.
If GEJ can really do this then he is etching his name on a stone in the history of Nigeria

Politics / Re: I’m Slow To Avoid Mistakes - Gej by largie(f): 6:01pm On Jan 02, 2012
I wonder why people are raking that GEJ is this slow. We were all expecting him to turn to superman overnight huh. This was a guy that was in politics to be just the local government chairman. All the actions he had himself prepared for is local league. The political cliche kept giving him double and triple promotions without providing the necessary tutoring. He is now failing woefully and we are surprised. He is not spontaneous, he can't think through adequately, he can't even make up his mind about what he should do and he wants to be slow so that he would not make mistakes. Those qualities don't go for his position. Nigeria is too much for those qualities. There is nothing to be done to the politicians robbing us blind he is removing fuel subsidy. What has been done to check corruption. What is the level of transparency of the process that brought that decision. Mrs Okonjo Iwenla is pleading with people to accept that decision- can you imagine that. what cushion effect have you put in place for the poor masses. Lives are being lost unnecessarily, working people are finding it difficult to take care of their responsibility and in the face of all that Mr president has the nerve to tell people fuel subsidy that was never there has been removed on new year day.
Wake up people, until we take up the responsibility of making our leaders accountable they will never be.Let us vote based on merit. It doesn't matter where the candidate is from as long as he or she is a Nigerian and is competent. I am sick and tired of this craziness. It hurts bad
Politics / Re: Should The Federal Government Support Widows Of Ex-presidents/heads Of State? by largie(f): 4:03pm On Dec 29, 2011
I think these so called widows and whatever have no iota of shame in them. they are not concerned about the state of the nation and her citizens. What is the state of things when 'they 'ruled and now that they are asking for pocket money.
