BlueRayDick: Yeah I remember , but his own person no supposed be totally Yoruba people now. I cheered when he appointed Yoruba as COAS, IGP and Customs DG; but now that EFCC, CBN governor , ajd other critical positions he still dey nominate Yorubas omo ….. I no know wetin to talk o.
Even some Yorubas don dey complain say na Lagos people he pack full there . Nnpc GMD will go, Customs is still acting capacity same as Immigration. I didnt expect FIRS to go to a Yoruba man though seeing as Wale Edun was already Finance Minister and he was planning to put Cardoso in CBN. All the revenue generating agencies except for NNPC are in Yoruba hands. Yesterday they announced NIPOST MD and it was a Yoruba man also. Hopefully he gives round all other regions soon before grumblings go full everywhere. Even the northerners that are complaining now, I want to believe they are shocked that Tinubu can do this. |

I'm not sure if you were the one that posted that Dawn rail transportation plan here.
I'm not too excited about whatever DAWN is proposing because it seems everything always end on paper.
If they are serious, let them work on good road network first in the region before thinking about rail. |

Also, concrete roads do well under oil spills, but they are not flexible, so they can break if a heavy object falls on it.
Concrete roads are easier to maintain but expensive to repair. The inverse goes for Asphalt.
The money they are spending on concrete roads can revive a Bitumen plant here and create jobs, thereby providing the specified Bitumen for the job. [/color] There is Bitumen in Ondo. |

Roland17: It is difficult for any Israeli leader to take all the glory for retaliating against Hamas because it is a non-negotiable expectation in Israel. In the history of Hamas/ Israel wars, no sitting Israeli leader gloats about invading or retaliating against Hamas.
If anything he will suffer a worse reputation/ consequence if it is remotely true that he weakened their military system for Hamas to invade.
Israel’s geography doesn’t afford them the luxury to suffer over 400 deaths because they want to trap Hamas.. Well the public will never know. |

patrickmuf: This war will never end...
As long as the population of Israel keeps increasing, the quest to grab more lands will continue. Hamas are also very dumb but I think for them, the destruction of the Gaza Strip is a win in the long run as more and more young Palestinians will be easily indoctrinated by watching the suffering meted out on them by Israel.
I don't think the majority of Palestinians are in support of the activities of Hamas but as is the case with us humans, no matter how bad your own is, you'd fight for them when the war comes to your doorstep... But what has Hamas done for Gaza since they assume leadership there? Hamas itself dont care about the people. How is Israel still the one feeding and giving electricity to Gaza? They claim Israel doesn't allow them build anything with cement or steel but how do they end up building steel reinforced bunkers in Gaza? How do they build or get ammunition always to attack Israel? |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by larride(m): 2:52pm On Oct 10, 2023 |
Roland17: Israel are totally surrounded by enemies who want to wipe them out. They have no trusted ally in that region, even Egypt is a mere mediator between them and Palestine.
Consequently, they have to expend huge resources on their military to keep the country prepared at all times and safe. I don’t think Israel is even bigger than New Jersey or Massachusetts here in the States.
Top G is claiming that Israel intentionally weakened its security systems to allow Hamas attack so they can in turn wipe out Gaza. While a good argument and a war tactic, I doubt it is the case. There is too much at stake for Israel to allow such, especially for the much maligned Netanyahu. It's a solid argument tho. Israel response help boost Netanyahu reputation and he can come out of this whole mess as a hero of his people that held everything together when the "enemies" attacked. |

sapoyoro: Go and read the depositions carefully page to page and not the bits which are being released by both sides to control media narratives. The Registrar clearly said in the depositions what Tinubu submitted to INEC is not from them and infact said he had never seen the documents until that particular day. And unlike what the media has been narrating what Atiku has been after from day one is not whether Tinubu graduated from CSU or not which CSU has affirmed many times but the authenticity or the genuineness of the particular diploma tinubu submitted to INEC. The 3rd party vendor claim is false,it emanated from tinubu quarters nothing like such was ever affirmed or claimed in the deposition. And Tinubu diploma is still with them,it was never picked up by them. I will look for the link of the depositions and post them and you should take your time to read through it when you get time. English is your people's problem. The school clearly says they don't keep a copy of certificate issued to their student. How exactly do you want the Registrar to see a diploma that they don't have a copy of it in their files? Is reading simple English a challenge now? I've posted a link to the full disposition, you can try and read it yourself. |
