Yoro... Lol

You want to build from the back and you are starting a jittery and slow Yoro against fast paced midfielders and attackers.

We'll need to have a discussion about this Yoro

Can’t praise JB enough for the incredible work he has done for us in what was supposed to be a gap year. Man has shown he is a credible option 1. Credit to the Meerkat for also keeping JB as the number 1 option even after Tatum returned. We go into the post-season with a lot more confidence than any one of us had when the season started.

JB proved that he deserve that contract.

No matter what arsenal will still win the epl

Pep bleeped it up when he drew 3 consecutive games ,and still went to to fail to win against forest
Pep just need to win that rescheduled Crystal palace game and beat Arsenal at Etihad next week and its game on.

It's a long season, teams are expected to lose points.

What happened to i-DICE? I kept bringing it up since early 2023 that it will be abandoned. i-DICE was suppose to take care of these things instead of the micro-managed ministerial funding to justify their budgets. PYO had it all mapped out and they should have followed everything in i-DICE.

i-DICE included growth mentoring with industry players, networking with Silicon Valley and the likes. Osinbajo had it all figured out with his team so why ignore it?

Isn't that amount to big for just 45winners?

What I mean is how about they decrease the amount while increasing the number of winners so more people can gain. Something like 20million per person and 120winners.
Dont forget that things are super expensive and the grant is to help the startups to have structure and grow. It's not too much, some are even saying the 50M is not enough.

Let's hope the next cohort winners will be increased to 100 winners, the money shouldn't be a problem.

Kudos to the FG and congratulations to the “lucky “ 45 who got the grant eventually .

This is not a diss at the FG for this initiative, but trust me this is just a tiny drop in the mighty ocean as far as setting up the youth of this country for a rewarding future is concerned .

God knows the number of brilliant minds that would’ve been screened out to arrive at the total number of 45 winners all over Naija .

Earlier this year I was in a session with some of our internal and external stakeholders (international stakeholders) and in one of the presentations from our internal team , I saw a side that showed the grim reality of the Nigerian youth .

A graduate trainee program which focused on co-opting graduate engineers ( Civil , mechanical , chemical , electrical , petroleum , etc ) was organized by the organization . Over 12,000 applications from HND and bachelors degree holders was received from graduates of universities across Nigeria , over 10,000 of the applicants got shortlisted and after a rigorous recruitment profess that lasted months ; only 100 candidates were eventually absorbed as graduate trainees into the system .

For someone who had once been in the same position as some of those applicants , I had a realization that one needs to be extremely lucky after being smart to breakthrough in this country , especially when you are following the due process of things without knowing anybody that can influence things in your favor .

Once again , congratulations to the winners of the FG N50m VC initiative. Hope they make the best use of the opportunity .
You are right. According to the minister of education they received 30,000 applications from 404 schools, from 30,000 applicants to 65 finalist to eventual 45 winners is a lot.

Hopefully the next one cohort next year can be increased to like 100 students. Me personally I prefer this type of direct empowerment than sharing rice or one of those bogus money sharing scheme.

I saw like 10 winners on X yesterday and you know that definitely that 50M is a life changing money for them and their startups.

His main aim is to win Kano Guber election, he has no realistic chance for President, maybe V.P

The past month has been an incredibly difficult period for me and my family. Nigeria happened to a beloved and close member of the family and this one hit really hard.

I am still struggling to reconcile the harsh reality that she is gone. Imagine speaking over the phone with someone one day after something that brought extreme joy to the entire family and 2 days later the person is gone. The entire family is devasted and the pain no be here.

A very big thanks to everyone who reached out, I no fit mention everybody, including those who left mentions on the forum, I am really grateful. Once again, death puts a lot of things in perspective for me. Life is too short, do the best you can and find happiness in little things.

Without the subsidy removal, there would have been no salary to pay according to Governor Obaseki before Tinubu entered office

That is why every Governor is thankful that this admin removed subsidy
Ok let's say he government has no choice than to remove the subsidy, what has the government done to improve the life of the people? What policy have they implemented to cushion the effects of this subsidy removal? It's been 3yrs and there's nothing to show for it other than massive inflation, more poverty and the continued luxurious life of the political elite.

I believed and trusted in Tinubu, it has been nothing but utter disappointment. Disappointment is even an understatement.

Egbon no talk about that subsidy removal again. If I tell you what percentage of my salary I spend on transport currently you, you won't believe.

That subsidy removal is a net negative on this administration and it's the genesis of most of what we are currently battling.

IMO our transfer dealings this summer is of more importance than who becomes our permanent manager. Without a proper squad, we’ll stumble next season even if we have the best manager in the world.

That we want the board to appoint a better manager than Carrick in the summer is not in anyway hate on Carrick.

Carrick has done well so far but personally I don't think he's ready for that next level yet just like Lampard when he coached Chelsea then

We need manager like Enrique, Nagelsman even Tuchel even though I doubt he will leave the England national team.

But if the board decides they want to go with Carrick, even though I will have reservations, I will still support him 100% and expect the board to strengthen the team especially the midfield, left back and the wings.
