TrebleChamp: I said this same words in 2015 when Buhari became President, and i lost interest less than 2years after. Politicians have a way of shattering our high hopes, but i sincerely pray Tinubu's Govt will be better. It has to be better cos Nigerians have suffered for 8 years... It is in our own best interest that he succeed, at least get the economy back on track, fix Emefiele monetary mess and tackle insecurity. It won't be easy but I hope he does. |

To defeat an incumbent, the opposition must be united.
Looking at the election results
Tinubu made 25% in 30 states.
Both PDP and LP didnt even meet this requirement.
PDP made 25% in 20 states
LP made 25% in 16 states.
APC won 12 states PDP won 12 states LP won 11 states plus FCT Kwankwaso won 1 state
A united opposition with Atiku on the ticket would've won easily. |

Unlimited22: Onne Port is not at anything close to full capacity. Opening it up along with Calabar Port will decongest Apapa but I feel it's not in the interest of those who are feeding fat from Apapa port For Apapa to run efficiently it has to be decongested. I'm not into importing or exporting so I dont really know much about how these port operate tbh. Hopefully they do the right thing. |

Everything must not be in Lagos. Onne port is already functional and vessels are berthing there already. Not sure about Calabar port. What's holding Ibom Port is compensation that those in the communities are asking for. Nigerians and greed. The State Govt is looking for another investor after the first one pulled out. I really do not know why they want to build another seaport at badagry after the Lekki own tbh |

I see no reason why 4th mainland bridge cannot be built in 4years; him don promise you Ikorodu people since 20yrs ago; na just so so plan we dey see; and I personally prefer the original bridge designed with mass transit rail😀😀😀 Time to go buy lands & hold for Ikorodu. The 4th mainland bridge will be done before the end of Sanwo-Olu second time hopefully. Land don almost finish for Ikorodu, na to dey go far far to Epe remain. |

Donjazet2: Itrsm, contrary to what you said earlier about voter apathy in the gubernatorial election, I very much disagree.
You see before Saturday there were lots of people who didn't vote labor because they underestimated their chances. I Think this election will give them that ginger to vote. I expect half of obi's 14 states to win the governorships. Especially as a protest for what some of them have done. States like abia, Enugu ebonyi are 100 percent going labor. Then add some south south states. Maybe even Edo, delta, rivers and cross or akwa. Lagos Lagos Lagos! It has definitely changed shape there. APC has never had more than 600-700k and i suspect nobody can underestimate gvr.
As for the rigging, I think this is beneficial to obidients in the short term for the gubernatorials because now, eyes go shine Wella!
No polling unit agent is leaving that result sheet without seeing it on INEC portal even if it takes 24 hours. Na there them go dey. Sleep with that result. It's not leaving that unit without being uploaded.
I genuinely believe that wike will be punished next week that's if there is no stratospherical unrest between now and then. I genuinely don't think portharcourt people will take this slap kindly. Wike has sold his goodwill.
Even if you want to rig, it should have been with sense where people can somehow rationalize it at least, not giving all your subjects the middle finger..
There is no doubt that rivers state is fully obidient. Like more than 85%. I see serious consequences on 11th. Stop talking about what you dont know about Lagos election, if you dont know ask. Fashola under ACN in 2011 won with 1.5m votes. Even last election in 2019, APC won with 730+ votes. |

Segedinho: I think the most important thing about BVAS is to reduce malpractice as result is transmitted almost immediately (not transported)
Presently, they outcries of malpractices is extremely high with evidences due to transportation of results manually...
The best thing to do is halt d process and put the importance of BVAS into play......... Bros, what they are uploading on the I-rev is the polling sheet result. The presiding officer still needs to carry all the ballot papers and the original result sheet to the ward level for collation. |

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by larride(m): 6:57pm On Feb 28, 2023 |
Segedinho: That was why BVAS was created to avoid or reduces malpractices.......
Irev served as the situation rooms in this election...(results are sent directly to it for a reason)
I think the frauds emanating from one polling station wards and then state were to be disbanded thru d Irev.
Here, there are huge eveidences showing maneuvering as results where move from one poliing unit to another destination...
And whether you like it or not..once a winner is announced in 9ja..it is finished..
An election as sensitive as this should be given utmost attention irrespective of the time it will take...
Take out any foul play in writing and proceed..... Bros BVAS does 2 things, 1. Accredit voters to vote and transmit the number of accredited voters to inec after the end of the process. 2. Snap and send the result sheet and upload to the I-rev. That's all The rest of the collation process is to take the result from the polling unit to the ward level, collate all the result together manually and take it to the LG and from there to the state level for collation and announcement of result. All this process is done manually. You guys need to pay more attention to how election is run in your country. |

Segedinho: Transmitted results shows a wide range of discrepancy with d announced results so far...reason why people are clamouring for usage of Irev l..
I think it is a fair asking..
PDP says ... their situation rooms results doesn't add up in any way with d INEC results....if the results emanating from their situation rooms (gotten from agent) at polling station is right...where is INEC result coming from ?
To cap it... the results circulating on air seems worked on..from the tippex to rewriting to erasing n to some extent managing spaces .
You see why it should be wise to halt d announcement n cross check d BVAS results... Bros INEC at Abuja will not be counting polling unit by unit for you, that's already done at the ward, Lg and state level. If there is discrepancies in the result, both PDP and LP should've raised objection at the state where the result was collated, not at Abuja that all what they are doing is presentation of result. |

Itsrm: They are saying there's a section of the electoral act that empowers the INEC chairman to cancel the election within 7 days if any irregularity is noticed.
Since they have evidences of irregularities, they expect the INEC chairman should cancel the election.
That's their position Only the tribunal can cancel an election that a winner has already been declared by the state REC. All what they are doing is what they should've done at the state level. What they are doing in Abuja is to announce the result that the state REC announced at the state level. |

What's most funny is that all these shout of rigging that these people are doing should have been done at the ward collation center and state collation center.
LP can even be excused as they are "debutant" to election process but what's PDP excuse? PDP cannot claim they dont have the result of their polling unit by polling units from their agents stationed across the country.
You are not raising alarm at the LG and state collation levels, you now go to Abuja to be shouting when it's the same result that the state REC announced that they are announcing in Abuja. Like the INEC chairman said, if you have evidence of rigging, go to the tribunal and table your evidence. |
