I kind of agree with you but that's only if we want to play the diamond formation, if we are playing the 4-4-2 formation then Scholes IMO is a must. We have no one that can spree those passes around as Scholes.

If we are going to play a 4-4-2 then Scholes need to start to so that he can spree those passed around but remember that Chelsea midfield is compact so stretching the midfield means we will have fewer bodies in the middle and Chelsea might take advantage of that. Under no circumstance will i want to see Nani starting this match (Chelsea), that guy is has inconsistent as they come. I will prefer we play a diamond formation but with an option to switch to 4-4-2 when the needs arise.

I will be playing chicarito over welbeck because he's fast and can exploits the space which the Chelsea defence will definitely give us. Welbeck is good overall but his scoring abilities can't be compared to that of Chica and we will need that against Chelsea.
