Daming have its constraints. If you dont have sole control on the water. You might end up wasting money. Because somebody somewhere might also dam it thereby reducing the inflow to your side.

You can just create a small hole around the stream where water can accumulate which will allow you to pump out directly using a surface/sump

Do you have control over the stream? Is it non seasonal? If yes then you can either dam/channel the stream into an underground Reservoir on your land and that will be your source for irrigating

Another is to get a well or borehole. Anyone that ll work.

After getting your water source right. You can purchase some irrigation kits and install.

@Jasmine17, borehole cost in benin depends on the depth and the formation's nature and thicknesses. In Ugbor, they normally drill pass 100m, at times 200m and its mainly of majorly of sands/sandtones (90%). Prepare between 1.5m-3m. Try to have a geophysical investigation done. That's when you can have a definite price.

Its normal for antibiotics to have side effects depending on each person's immune system. The drug is enough to fix the throat and hear issue.

For yr throat, get 2(10tablets) of erythromycin and use 4 tablets in a day. That is 1tab every 6hrs.

@opensoftware if your intending farm land can allow you to get a borehole drilled at an affordable cost, why not go for irrigation.

what is size of the tin? if its not that big, you can do the geophysical investigation once. if its big, i ll advise you section it so that you can be getting return while you explore wider.

A lack of compaction is the biggest reason for an area to settle. We see this most often when we're on a project site where the house or pool is newly constructed and backfilled. The backfilled soils were most likely not compacted as they were filled in. This is also common when the ground under the pavers has been dug up and not filled in properly.

Solution: This is fixed by pulling up all the pavers, adding more gravel base making sure it is well compacted in intervals as it's added. Once the base is brought back up to the proper level and pitch the bedding sand and pavers can be reinstalled.

Is there a way to know if the ground is properly compacted before laying pavers so as to avert this problem.

Look at interlocking here. See the level of destruction done by the truck. Does this mean interlockings have limit on the weight they can carry.
