wow, cool thread. Got relaxed after reading some posts. i should post about my office tooo soon. Enjoy yr day. |
As a farmer, you need a long term plan for steady water supply. Depending on stream or well water might be risky because water from these sources might be seasonal. Here are shots from a geophysical investigation carried out on a farm at Òwú zone Odeda L.G.A Ogun State. Call us on 09070441895 to have your site investigated and get the right recommendations.

laudate: well sha. maybe the op should come and shed lite about the space sha.Nigerian factors need to be considered too, but i believe people that will be staying here should be highly civilized. Have seen a single house in lagos having 3 boreholes and all useless. I know people that cant even use their water at all and have to import water from abroad. Having borehole in lagos is more complicated than you think. When you hear ambode/fashola saying they used 80million to drill a single borehole, bruv, they ain't lieing. No individual or developers can ever do that. |
@laudate...the images me am looking at here can accommodate cars conveniently. Each front should be able to take 4cars and the sides still have space...except if its dangote trucks the occupants are using...Its just the camera shot angle that makes it look as if it has no space. I understand yr point about each apartment having a separate borehole. but i am 40% sure all these boreholes might end up being useless at the end. Remember they make no mention of treatment plant, i believe they left that for the occupants to solve on there own. That is the problem we have with Lagos. Also the specification of the borehole drilled needs to be question. Is it the type where the occupants will be battling with salt, iron or shits...Did they look into environmental/nature protection scheme. Have you seen mud/land slide before? if not but am sure you would have seen borehole collapsing, its a junior brother to land slides because the formations are getting weaker day by day. It might not happen now but think about the future generation. I dont know the competency of the contractor involved but he should have gone for a centralize borehole, a central treatment house, not plant in this case and employ a facility manager to be in charge. each building can have there stanchion and geepee tanks. if properly done, i dont think there will be any issue of not having water, maintenance will nt b a problem and in the end lot of lives will be saved and future generations will be preserved. |
The compound is not that small....But what is the essence of giving each apartment a personal borehole ![]() |
Happy Independence day Nigeria, it's going to get better. Here are shots from a geophysical investigation for siting a borehole on a farm at Òwú zone, Odeda L.G.A Ogun State. The foreigners too are now into farming... They see life and hope in this country. It will definitely get better.

Ojodu berger, Opic, Arepo, Magboro...... Don't bother wasting your money drilling shallow boreholes in these areas. Just go for industrial. I have seen a single building having 2-3 boreholes... Funniest thing is that treatment doesn't do the correction as we always hoped for. My advise for builders in these area is to go for industrial borehole and save lifes. People's health is far more important. |

I can't see it, o! Only the sides of the house have a little space. And if they park behind each other on that narrow main access way in front of the houses, then it means they would have to wake up each neighbour to move his car, before the next car can successfully get out of the way. All dat wahala for a 55 million naira house?
I know several estates with a centralised borehole & water treatment facilities, where such facilities have either fallen into disrepair, or have become a subject of dispute or have been turned off just to spite the residents, because they had a disagreement about water rates/tariff. Abeg, for Nigeria the 'tori dey always get k-leg!
