Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his Deputy, Femi Hamzat today visited the scene of the explosion in Abule-Ado, Satellite Town, Lagos State.



Sanwo-Olu visited the scene to conduct an on the spot assessment of the situation.



While there, he promised to set up a committee to investigate the cause of the explosions at Abule Ado. The committee will be headed by the Deputy Governor Femi Hamzat and has been given two weeks to submit its report.



Also, Sanwo-Olu set up a 2 Billion Naira relief fund to bring succour to the victims of the explosions. It was further announced that the state government will immediately credit the fund with N250 million.

A sales boy identified as Emmanuel has been arrested by the police in Rivers State for allegedly burgling his boss’ shop and carting away goods valued at N1.6M.


Security Activist, Amb Bosinde Araikpe, who made the revelation said that that the young man was arrested by the DPO of Ozuogba Police Division, CSP Christian Ugwoke and all the goods recovered.


Two other suspects, who bought the stolen goods were also arrested.

"Sales boy who stole items worth over N1.6M in Ozuogba Area of Rivers confessed to the crime.

Be careful who you employ as sales boy or domestic staff, this one robbed & sold everything, but God so kind the DPO of Ozuogba Police Division Rivers State CSP Christian Ugwoke under the Command of CP Mustapha Dandaura upon investigation recovered everything & arrested the handsome sales boy who wanted to settle himself by stealing & selling, his customers were also arrested alongside. May God have mercy on us all.

There's always a lesson to learn from every Crime uncovered, this is simply "you can't leave your business without close supervision else you will keep running at loss" do business you can supervise Properly.

Sanusi Lamido Sanusi has been spotted preparing to leave Awe community of Nasarawa State, where he was banished to after being dethroned by Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State.



Recall that Justice Anwuili Chikere of the Federal High Court in Abuja ordered the immediate release of the dethroned Emir of Kano from confinement/detention in Awe community in Nasarawa state earlier today March 13. The Judge issued the order after Sanusi filed a lawsuit, challenging his confinement in a two-bedroom apartment in Awe community.



Though where the dethroned monarch is heading to is currently unknown, he will be leaving the Nasarawa community with Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State, who paid him a visit earlier today.

According to story gathered, the fight started when a neighbour told the woman that she sighted her husband with another woman in a bar.

When she turned to her husband and gave him the beating of his life. Not only that she beats him but she used bottle to decorate the man's head and body. The whole floor was painted with blood of the husband and it did not end there.

The woman dragged the man and pushed him far to the floor while slapping and beating him.

It took the help of people around to lift the woman out of the exhausted man's body.

Some Robbers on Tuesday attacked the ATM in the University of Osun and carted away all the money.

Though no life was lost in the incident, the robbers burgled the Automated Teller Machine in the campus overnight.


Students said the hoodlums made their way into the campus at night and had a successful operation even with the presence of security officers in the campus.


In the video posted by Instablog and obtained by our reporters, the front wall of the building which house the ATM could be seen opened and there is a wide hole beside the ATM where the hoodlums forced their way into building.

A gridlock was reportedly witnessed last weekend after some suspected Fulani herdsmen allegedly laid siege for commuters last weekend after Okada in Edo State while heading towards Ore in Ondo State.

A social media user who shared a video from the scene of the incident, said the armed herdsmen were brandishing machetes.

A Nigerian lady took to Instagram to narrate how a police woman allegedly harassed and tried extorting her while on her way to work in Abuja today, February 20.



@osehstella alleged that the police woman accused her of "beating" traffic which she said she never did because some Vehicle Inspection Officers were at the spot the security operative claimed the incident happened.



She claimed that the police woman who attacked her in the car, called her colleagues who came and pulled her number plate at work.



She wrote;





Got harassed by police a police officer who claimed I beat traffic.
I was on my way to bannex, after FCDA traffic lights a police hillux blocked me and 3 police officers came down banging on my door with riffle pointed at me asking me to open my door.

I said no and asked why. And they the one with the riffle said I should just open I insisted on knowing why. A female officer among them said I beat traffic at Sahad junction and I told her I didn't because a VIO bike was parked there and I won't beat traffic and they let me go. They insisted and I said I can't let someone with a riffle into my car to avoid being shot at.
She came in and asked me to turn back towards FCDA I did. There's a mobile court there and she said if i stop there I'd pay big money.
That it's better I settle them.

I declined and then this drama started. She started switching my gear and dragging my steering saying she'd destroy my car. I had to keep calm and make make a video. It was terrifying I had to drive down to my office for my own safety

On getting to my work place her colleagues came and pulled out my plate number. Saying to deal with me. she kept pushing my door in an attempt to destroy it... All this happened because I refused to settle them for a crime I didn't commit.

Activist, Aisha Yesufu, on Monday morning, February 17, slammed the Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi, who took to Twitter to debunk reports that he fled as kidnappers attacked a train in Kaduna state on Sunday evening February 16th.

Media reports had it that the Minister was amongst the passengers on an Abuja-Kaduna train that was attacked by suspected kidnappers. According to the report, the kidnappers laid in ambush around Mando area and attempted to waylay the passengers who arrived at Rigasa train station around 8:15pm. Passengers on the train alleged that the Minister was also on the train and that the situation was saved by the mobile policemen attached to the Minister who quickly dispersed the suspected kidnappers.

Reacting to the news, the Minister via his Twiter handle, described the report as fake news and that it was completely concocted.

However, Aisha Yesufu slammed the Minister stating that he should be ''ashamed'' of himself as her relatives who were on the said train, and that Amaechi was spotted running during the attack
