A man dressed in the Civil Defence uniform was seen joining residents to grab stored Covid-19 palliatives discovered in a warehouse in Gwagwalada, Abuja.



In a video shared online, the alleged officer is seen waiting beside his packaged food items as citizens ran in and out of the warehouse, grabbing stored Covid-19 palliatives for themselves.



After a while, he's seen grabbing his items and walking out of the venue.

"Officer of the law," other residents going in to pick food items for themselves are heard saying.



The officers ignored all the civilians and continued on his way with the items.

For days now, Nigerians in different states across the country have been discovering warehouses where Covid-19 palliatives were stored and they've been taking them. A number of people have expressed shock that these palliatives were stored in warehouses while people went hungry during the Covid-19 lockdown.

Eucharia Anunobi has placed curses on those who accused Uche Elendu of lying that her store was looted to chase clout.



Uche Elendu had shared videos of her store vandalized by looters and actress Doris Ogala reacted by claiming Uche Elendu was showing off other people's looted stores as hers just to chase clout. Doris warned Uche to come clean else she would expose her.



Uche Elendu later reacted when her fans asked her about Doris' claim. She insisted her store was looted.



Subsequently, a prayer session was organized at Uche's looted store. Actress Eucharia Anunobi, who also doubles as an evangelist, was present, together with actress Monalisa Chinda.



While praying, Eucharia placed curses on those who accused Uche Elendu of lying that her store was looted to chase clout. She also backed up the curses with passages from the Bible.



Eucharia said: "It could have happened to anybody yet some wicked people opened their mouth and say you are chasing clout.



"Somebody sees millions, having been invested and it is lost and says you are chasing clout...



"Today I stand in the authority of the name that never fails and I say as God has spoken that evil shall not depart from those who pay evil for good.



"Today I decree with the unction of God upon my life, I say, Lord, those who are speaking evil concerning this your shop and saying you are chasing clout when there is absolute vandalization after millions have been invested...



"Today, may they never ever set up a shop. If they have ever set up a shop, may their shop burn to ashes in the name of Jesus."



Uche Elendu replied "Amen" to the prayer while silently crying.

In the video which has now gone viral on social media, he sought the indulgence of the rest of the passengers and told them he would love to ask someone special to him a very important question and hopes her answer would be in the affirmative.

After his short speech in which he expressed how much he loves her, he went down on one knee and proposed to his girlfriend, Kemi, who gave him a “yes”.

Overwhelmed with Joy, Kemi expressed surprise and after he slid the ring on her finger, she hugged him and momentarily kissed him thereafter.

A one-story building located at 10 Moliki Street in the Mushin Local Government Area of Lagos State was gutted by fire on Saturday morning, August 29.



According to reports, the fire outbreak started around 8am and destroyed the entire first floor of the residential building.



Residents worked tirelessly to put out the fire.



Men of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency LASEMA, were alerted and are currently on hand to salvage the situation.

Heart of man are full with wicked

A 13 year-old boy allegedly abused by his father and stepmothers, has been rescued by the police in Borno state.

Humanitarian worker, Junaid Jibril Maiva, who shared the story online, said Aminu’s mother and father are separated and he had to stay with his father. The father and his other wives forced him to sleep in a dingy room beside a gutter and denied him food and other basic needs.

The police acting on a tip-off stormed the father's home in Baga Road in Maiduguri the state capital and rescued him.

The father and his wives are now in police custody.

Junaid in a post shared on his Facebook page, wrote

''It is heartbreaking and annoying how parents now a days treat their own child. This thirteen year old child was denied any form of parental support and shelter simply because his mother was divorced.

He was forced to sleeps in verandah beside a gutter without foods, clothes, talk less of net to protect him from malaria and other diseases.
Mallam Murtala from Mobbar LGA now living in Baga road Maiduguri confessed that he and his wives had thrown the child and serves him food once daily.

During investigation by management of National Human Rights Commission lead by Barr Jummai Mshelia accompanied by E-D WINN Madame Lucy Dlama ,it was gathered that the child (Aminu) step mothers always beat him without a reason.

When Aminu was served food, Spaghetti and stew to be precise, he ate like a hungry lion, it is disheartening and heart breaking seeing this child eating empty spaghetti without touching the stew, an indication that he had not seen stew for long. All this because his mother is not in the house.

After documentation, Barr Jummai lead team will take the child for more medical support.

The mum who spoke in Yoruba, blessed the pen her daughter will use during the examination.

Mixed reactions have trailed the video. While some Nigerians appreciated the effort of the praying mum, others said the mum should have focused on her daughter reading her books to pass the exam and not depending on prayers.

White man knocked out with a single punch after calling black people ‘pets’ (video)


A white man got more than he bargained for after going off on a racist tirade while travelling with some black people in a Tube in Central Line on Sunday August 16.



The video which has gotten lots of reactions on social media, came with the caption ‘Being black in the UK is tiring. These black boys just wanted to go home and this supremacist just kept provoking them.


The man who was seen wearing a black polo shirt and beige shorts identified himself as Billy Steel as he screamed at the group of young black men while swinging from a handrail. He was heard saying ‘This is my home. You’re all going back and you know it as well.



When a passenger in the group asks where they are going back to, the white man retorts: ‘You know where you’re going back.



Someone then repeatedly asks for his name, to which he shouts: ‘No, you’re black, oh my god’. A woman filming the incident asks: ‘What’s that supposed to mean? What does being black have to do with anything?



He then swivels around and tells her to shut up. The video cuts to the man repeatedly chanting ‘lesser than us’ while swaying from the handrail, before saying ‘you’re my pets’ to a group of black men.



However as the group of black people tried getting off the train in Bank station in Central London, the man walked up to them shouting ‘come on’. As they get up to leave, the white man squares up to them with clenched fists close to the open doors. One of them suddenly turns and punches him with a right hook.



The man stumbles and falls backwards in the train carriage, appearing to be knocked out. Some of the passengers were heard thereafter saying ‘well done’ and a woman can be heard laughing, before others rush to check his pulse and put him in the recovery position.

The police in Kano have rescued another man who has been chained in a dingy room by his father for over 15 years.


The man identified as Ibrahim Lawan and said to be in his 30s, was reportedly chained for 15 years by his father in his apartment in Sheka quarters within Kano metropolis.


He looked emaciated and weak when he was rescued. He was rushed to the Nasarawa hospital in Kano where he is currently being treated. The reason Ibrahim's father locked him up is yet unknown.


This comes days after one Ahmed Aminu, a 30-year-old man was rescued after his father locked him up for seven years in Farawa Babban layi Mariri quarters of Kumbotso local government area.



The police had also rescued a 10-year-old Down syndrome patient who was chained up by his father and stepmother in an animal store for over two years in Kebbi.

A video making rounds on social media shows the moment residents of Ikota Housing estate in Ajah, Lagos state, converged for prayers over the faulty transformer in their area.


A Twitter user @Kay_Tylor who posted the video online, revealed that Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDP) officials have brought four different transformers to their area and the four have gone bad, throwing them into perpetual darkness.

This prompted the residents to converge to pray against the principalities and powers causing the transformers to go bad all the time.


“4 transformers bad in 1yr. The Ikota Housing Estate community in Ajah Lagos, had to result to prayers. Divine intervention desperately sought. @Gidi_Traffic @EKEDP”, she tweeted.
