A Nigerian lady identified as Adetomisin, has cried out for help after she was trafficked to Oman where she is currently stuck.

In a viral video, Adetomisin who spoke in Yoruba, said she is from Ondo state and the agreement she had with her agent was to travel to the United States, only for her to meet herself in Oman.

“Good evening Nigerians. My name is Adetomisin. I am a Nigerian from Ondo state. I am currently speaking to you from Oman..

“When I was leaving Nigeria, the agreement I had with my agent was i was going to the US to work. When I finished my NCE programme and was unemployed for a long time, I decided to travel out.

My agent told me that he will help me secure a job for me in the US. All of a sudden, everything changed. I did not know what happened. That was how they brought us to Oman. Myself and one other lady. When we got to the airport in Oman, two people came to pick us up. They took us to an office and stripped us of all we had including our passports and phones.

They took us to where we were supposed to start work. When I got to my place of work, my boss started to threaten and frustrate my life. The first four months I worked with him, he did not pay me any salary. When I called my agent to inform him, he said it was none of his business as he has played his part. Since then, he stopped taking my calls.

Seeing how things were turning out, my boss kept threatening me to have sex with him but I declined. With all the stress of the job, I wake up as early as 4 am and work all day until about 12 am or 1 am before sleeping. My boss threatened that if I don’t give in to his request, he would kill me. That was when I said I didn’t want to work anymore and that they should take me back to my country having worked four months without getting any salary.

“That was how they took me back to the office and started scolding me. They took me into a room and locked me in with some others. For one week, we were not given food or water. Most of us were drinking water from the toilet for almost one week before they came to take us to work.

“I have been working there for one year and two months and I have been sick. I told my boss that I want to return to Nigeria but he said I can’t return.

“Nigerians, please, help me. I want to return home. I’m sick and my boss says I cannot come back. Nigerians please help me. I don’t want to die in Oman.” she said

Female officers of the Nigeria Immigration Service NIS have been queried for partaking in Bopdaddychallenge.


According to the query letter dated April 15 and was shared by Oluwaseun Owosobi, founder of Stand to End Rape Initiative, the female officers were accused of indecent flaunting of their bodies and desecration of the NIS uniform in the video.



The letter stated that their action is a serious misconduct liable to dismissal from service. The erring officers have been asked to give reasons why disciplinary action shouldn't be taken against them.

Presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) in the 2019 election, Omoyele Sowore has described President Buhari's government as the ''virus destroying Nigeria.



Commenting on the Coronavirus pandemic Nigeria has been battling with since February, the media personality stated that Nigeria will also have to battle terrible leadership, incompetent leadership, wicked leadership once Coronavirus is gone.

“I do not want to glorify the response of the government in power, and the so called opposition, the PDP because these political parties are themselves viruses that are destroying the health of our country both physically, economically, politically, socially and culturally.

“It is the pandemic that I am talking about. So, let’s discuss the revolutionary process that can take these guys out. At the end of the day, the person holding the broom also has an umbrella that he’s keeping in the house, so when the broom is not working, he goes for the umbrella. An Asian man who was treated in an isolation centre in Lagos after he tested positive for Coronavirus has spoken out after being discharged.



He said he and a friend came from UK into Lagos, Nigeria. Since a lot of countries were closing their borders, he said they decided to “pause” in Lagos.



He tested positive for Coronavirus in Lagos and was treated at the Isolation Center in the state.


He expressed his appreciation to the government of Lagos State for having a good recovery hospital and added that he’s recovered fully.

Few hours after a lady shared a video she made of a trader soaking mango inside gutter water before selling to people in the Agungi area of Lagos state, authorities stormed the area to arrest to supposed trader(s) who indulged in such act.

In a recent development, possibly after interrogating the suspects, another video now shows the moment the trader brings out the fruits that were stored in the dirty drainage system in the same area.



The lady who had initially shared the video after she caught the perpetrators had stated the exact location of the traders and moments later, it was reported that the trader(s) had been arrested over the discovery.

In the new video that’s been making the rounds, an aboki is seen in the same exact location bringing out mango fruits from the dirty gutter as people stood by and watched in utter shock.



The video has caused Nigerians to be watchful of the street food they buy from these peoples as majority of them practice no form of hygiene and even indulge in despicable acts that’s detrimental to the health of their customers.
