Bandits have released a video of a pregnant student and others who were abducted from the Federal College of Forestry Mechanisation in Afaka, Kaduna State in March.



The bandits who had initially demanded a N500 million ransom from the government, reached out to some parents of the abducted students after the Kaduna state government failed to comply.



One of the bandits was heard speaking in Hausa and later Fulfulde in a four-minute, 56 seconds video shot at night in an unknown location. He asked some of the students to come forward and speak to the camera.



The pregnant girl who the bandits addressed as Hajiya pleaded with their parents to rescue them. She said;



“We are appealing to our parents to help us, we are tired and there is no food. They should do their best to get us out of this place. We have spent 47 days, almost all of us are ill and there is no food. We sleep in the open even when it rains."



Another woman addressed as the wife of a military officer was also called up to speak. The lady who was abducted from her home in Tirkania-Agwa in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State, said her husband is a naval officer working in Warri, Delta State and also urged the Federal Government to come to their rescue.



She also said the bandits had earlier requested for N30million for their release. Here is the video below...

Rodney Floyd, George Floyd's brother, described “tears of joy” upon hearing the news of the conviction.

“I’m so emotional that no family in history ever got this far,” he said just moments after the jury announced it found Chauvin guilty of second-degree murder, third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter. “We got a chance to go to trial and took it all the way. This right here is for everyone that has been in this situation.”

Ben Crump, the Floyd family's attorney, described the verdict as “painfully earned justice” in a statement.

“Justice for Black America is justice for all of America. This case is a turning point in American history for accountability of law enforcement and sends a clear message,” he said.

Thieves broke into the home of comedian Mad Johnny and he took to Instagram afterwards to share footage of the aftermath.



He revealed their phones were stolen through the windows.



The thieves, who couldn't get in through the door, improvised by using the stick of the family's mop and tying it to a plastic dirt packer.



They then put this through the windows and used it to drag out valuables from the house.



They made away with phones, handbags, and more.



In footage shared to Instagram, Johnny is seen going from room to room to ascertain the extent of loss following the robbery incident that occurred on Feb 26.



He explained that he's just sharing the video now because he's been without a phone since the incident.

A viral video has captured moment some Imo state taskforce demolished the fence of local radio station Reach FM, which is allegedly owned by former Governor, Rochas Okorocha’s daughter.



While the officials who were escorted by policemen claimed the property was built on an access road, a staff of the radio station countered it by stating that the properly was constructed on a close, without any interference with the access road.



The demolition however occurred few days after the lawmaker representing Imo West Senatorial district, Rochas Okorocha and some of his aides were arrested for reopening a property sealed by the state government.
