Yed would be able to do what ever naira can do expect that it can not be used in other part of Nigeria expect the Yorubas state ,edo,delta in stores or Business that accept them. It is NOT MONEY, but a gift certificate,   IT IS NOT MONEY but a gift certificate, which is use all over the world.  State can give the Gift certificate to thier employee and they can use it to buy at any of the stores,business which agree to use it. While banks interested can also exchange it.

For someone who seems to have been abroad for sometimes, I am surprised that you don't seem (or are simply choosing to ignore) how gift cards/certificates work. It takes somebody to PAY[color=Black][/color] the monetary value in order to present it has a [color=Black]GIFT [/color] to someone else   So please shed light on why I would pay slightly more (1.10 YED = 1 Naira according to you) as a gift to myself in order to procure goods or services I need?

My people, regardless of my misgivings about Speaker Dimeji Bankole, the issue is the blatant disregard for established BA rules pertaining to baggage screening. If all of this is true, BA was wrong to single him out to check the luggages. I commend Bankole for avoiding a scene and deciding to go with another airline.

Hello everyone. After reading through the entire posts so far on this topic, I am still at a loss. Could someone (actual user) give an objective comparison btw a Nokia N900 and Blackberry Bold 9700?
Currently, I have the BB flip. I use all the functions, love it and have had it for about 2 yrs now. Why am I considering another phone? Well my charge port is broken (careless accident on my part). The thing is I would be traveling home to Nija and would be conducting business for several months.
I have heard various recommendations that the Bold 9700 is the must have phone for the business owner. In this case the BIS plan is a must have. Is the Nokia N900 able to offer all that the Bold offers when considering doing biz in nija?

If it is a real close friend, I will choose her wedding. I will try to convince him for both of us to attend together if possible. But if not make it up to him and celebrate together at another time.
You only get married hopefully once in a lifetime!!! On the other hand if she is a casual friend, I would most definately skip the wedding.

@ Jesoul: I can understand your apprehension of meeting at the home of "strangers" as you put it. Now of course you feel comfortable with the friends you already hang out with. May I ask if these friends share the same spiritual beliefs as you? Being a part of a church body affords you the opportunity to meet other belivers who share your faith. Iron sharpens Iron, so you may begin the step towards closer relationship by suggesting that there be small group meetings at the church premises. At least that way, you are on neutral ground and then go from there.
