I mailed Latin hire to inform them that while I completed the on boarding steps, I was yet to receive training instructions and request for bank information ( I had registered 15th of Feb 2020).

I got a reply and was told that they are fully staffed and on boarding may commence 3rd or 4th week of March.

Yes, you can. I didn't add a card till after a month. This was because I didn't have the time to do that. You can wait, we're all waiting and hoping the Africard issue is sorted. You can also sell your funds without the card too.

Ok. Thank you for your response.

I see. Thanks for responding samsard. This is why I want to be sure I have this card matter resolved before setting up the paypal. However, I don't want to delay for too long. Any advice on how to proceed?

The first PayPal you opened was which country?
@OP or anyone with an idea. If I set up the Lesotho PayPal account, can I add a bank card at a later time? This is because I really would prefer to use the Africard if its restored fully. Or explore other banks ATM such as GTB, FCMB or First Bank.

Education / Re: Do You have any Regrets Studying Engineering? by lasgidi4rv: 3:42pm On Nov 15, 2019
@OP,
I also studied Chemical Engineering and do not regret it. Yes studying any branch of Engineering is rigorous and requires discipline as well as a certain aptitude to quickly adapt to learning new concepts.
Right off the back, you have to be comfortable with mathematics. If you are weak in this area, don't worry. It just means you will have to work extra hard. Don't be too proud to seek for help from those that can help you. You are bound to get someone willing to help.
Pay particular attention to your courses in your first year. DON'T TAKE TECHNICAL DRAWING for granted if you did not take it in secondary school. You will have to take it and you don't want a carryover. By the way, ensure you don't carryover courses because if you do it sets up a dangerous trend and will affect you in subsequent semesters.
Study beyond what your lecturers give you in class, go on YouTube to learn about real world applications of your course (there is more to Chemical Engineering than working in Oil and Gas), learn softwares such as Chemcad, ASPEN, HYSYS.
Start thinking early about where you will want to Intern ( for SWEP and SIWES). Find out what you will need to get placement there. Find a Chemical Engineer you can ask questions from on getting work after graduation. Avail yourself to gaining practical experience wherever you can.
Let me allow you digest all these. Above all, make sure you come out with at least a Second Class Upper. Peace.

quote author=sunnychibs post=83811213]So,i recently gained admission to study engineering, chemical engineering precisely.

So my question goes those who studied engineering and those still studying,

Do you have any regrets studying engineering?

When one moves into a community that places and practices high regard for its cultural norms and traditions, you either abide or live peacefully within such dictates as the case may be. You DONT get to impose another tribal authority with a figurative head in title and then talk of 'one Nigeria'. If I may ask can you allow an Alafin in Aba? Pls stop with all the unnecessary instigations and live peacefully in any and all communities you move into.

Please cause I really will like to undertsand why they are worth it.

@ OP: Are you sure there are no other venues apart from the one in Gwagwalada for Abuja residents?
Once the 3-day orientation is done, will marking be done at the venue or we can take the scripts home?
What exactly is the role of the checker?
Thanks for your kind responses in advance.

It is introduction so the dressing is appropriate.
To the best of my knowledge in Rivers State the introduction most times is informal and only close family and friends are invited.
I guess she made it public because of who she is.
