Business / Use These 4 Tips Instead Of Overhyping What Your Product Can Do by Lateeyph(m): 9:16pm On Mar 06, 2023
Most People and Newbie Copywriters Believe A Big Promise Must Be Overhyped BUT ...

You can use these 4 quick Tips To avoid exaggerating in your copy when making a big promise :

1. Make a realistic promise that is specific, measurable, and achievable.

For example,

"You Will Learn How To Edit Quality videos of at least 720p using just your smartphone in 7 Days.'

Avoid making broad or vague statements that can be interpreted differently by different people.

"You will Get Access To The CAVE tactic to earn $1000 per hour without doing Any Work."

2. Provide evidence in form of text, pictures or videos (if possible).

Support your promises with facts, statistics, testimonials, and other forms of evidence.

All these make your promises more credible and believable.

Your source of evidence can be from your previous customers, top leaders in that industry or an expert or reputable figure.

For example,

...just like Tolu who used the GTP method to get high-paying clients on LinkedIn. Here's what she said : ...

...Even a 15-year old high school kid who attended the 3rd Cohort of the LP Class has designed over 5 landing pages for 3 social media influencers within the space of just 3 months...

...Warren Buffett once said that risk comes from not knowing what you are doing...

...Even Top 2% of Traders fail at... as Vanguard reports...

3. Don't Overhype:

Avoid excessive language or overly dramatic statements that are not supported by the proofs you have.
DON'T SAY THINGS

"We are the No.1 X in the world"

"This pill will burn 30 pounds of fat in 2 months."

"Once you sign up for free, you will start getting $100 per day."

"All our 1000+ customers over 2 years are happy with our service."

4. Be transparent honest and upfront about the limitations and potential drawbacks of your product or service.

Don't try to hide or downplay these aspects.

See this example,

Warning ⚠️ : This is not for you if you are not willing to spend or use what you learn immediately.

Let me show you some examples,

"If you have ulcer, you may experience bloating and abdominal pains after taking this drug."

"We can't guarantee that you will get the same tremendous results like our past students have achieved. But if you follow our guidelines, you will get a result you will be proud of."

Business / Does Perfect Really Make Progress ? by Lateeyph(m): 9:10pm On Feb 22, 2023
Back in those days as a junior high school kid who loved reading quotes ...

I always asked myself these questions...

Does practice really make perfect ?
Can man ever be "PERFECT" ?

People practise and practise for days, weeks, months...

Yeah.

They get to a professional or expert level but still...

They make mistakes
They fail
They win some and lose some

As I grew older, I thought to myself...

Maybe practise makes Professional and Best.

Since those that practise more usually win in the end.

Trying to analyse these events

I realized that practice don't always guarantee best.

But Practice makes Progress.

So as long as you've started small and you practise regularly in bits, there is progress.

As long as you don't rest (too much that distractions engulf you) and you accelerate by pushing yourself to your limit, you become one of the best in your field.

Generally...
Practice is crucial for progress and success in any area of life...

Whether it's sports, music, academics, or personal growth.

The saying "practice makes perfect" may not always be true BUT I strongly believe practice leads to progress because PRACTICE :

1. BUILDS YOUR SKILLS AND MUSCLE MEMORY:

When you repeat an activity over and over again, your brain creates neural pathways that make the task easier and more automatic.

2. INCREASES YOUR COMPETENCE AND CONFIDENCE:

As you practice, you improve, you gain experience and build competence.

And Competence builds confidence because those things that seem challenging before are now looking simpler and normal to you.

Confidence in your abilities grows, and you become more willing to take on challenges and push yourself to the next level.

3. GIVES YOU FEEDBACK :

The more you practice, the more you fail and the more you find out.

You become aware of areas that need improvements so that you direct your efforts and energy on those areas to make progress.

4. OVERCOMES OBSTACLES:

You learn when you practice. The mistakes you make leads to new discoveries that will help you overcome future blocks and obstacles.

5. BUILDS DISCIPLINE:

Regular practice requires discipline and focus, and this discipline can transfer to other areas of life that helps you achieve your goals.

Quick Fact : Do you know that I mistakenly crafted "DOES PERFECT REALLY MAKE PROGRESS ?" instead of "DOES PRACTICE REALLY MAKE PERFECT ?"

Business / Why You Shouldn't Present Many Options For Your Customers To Choose From by Lateeyph(m): 3:05pm On Jan 22, 2023
DON'T PRESENT MANY OPTIONS FOR YOUR CUSTOMERS TO CHOOSE FROM

You may have lots of ideas and offers for your customers right now

And you want them to have loads of options to choose from but here's the thing...

Too many options is risky and...

Here are 3 reasons Why you shouldn't provide too many options for your customers in marketing

1.
OVERWHELMING & DELAYED DECISION

Providing too many options overwhelm customers and make it difficult for them to make a decision.

This can make them take a long time before they finally decide

And in the end you lose the sales.

2.
HIDES BENEFITS

With too many options, You will make it difficult for them to understand.

It becomes harder to show the core benefits of what you are selling. If they can't see how your product will benefit them, they won't buy.

3.

BAD REVIEW and REPUTATION

Whe you give your customers too many options, they may not be fully satisfied with their decision.

And they will regret that they didn't choose a different option or feel that they did not make the best choice.

This can lead to negative opinion about your product or service, which can negatively impact your brand's reputation.

Health / 99% Of People Will Have This Disease During Their Lifetime by Lateeyph(m): 11:09pm On Jan 06, 2022
There are various diseases affecting people in the world today.
One of them that will affect almost everyone during their lifetime is ACNE.

You may haven't heard ACNE before but it is a common skin disease.
If it hasn't affected you, it must have affected someone you know

WHAT'S ACNE ?
Acne is a skin disorder that develops when oil and dead skin cells clog your hair follicles.
It is commonly known as PIMPLES

Whiteheads, blackheads, and other types of PIMPLES  are all caused by it.

Acne is a highly prevalent skin disorder that creates pimples on the face, forehead, chest, shoulders, and upper back, among other places.

Acne affects people of all ages, but it is most frequent among teenagers.

You are not the only one having acne. It is one of the most frequent skin problems.

According to studies, 80 percent of people between the ages of 11 and 30 will get at least a mild type of acne, and the majority of people will develop acne later in life.

Acne can be treated effectively, but it can sometimes be stubborn.

One can do a lot to treat acne using products available at a drugstore or cosmetic counter that does not require a prescription.

The pimples and bumps heal slowly, and when one begins to go away, others seem to crop up.

However, for tougher cases of acne, it is highly recommended that one consults a physician for treatment options.

Note that ACNE is a disease while PIMPLES is one of its visible symptoms

Business / Copywriting Tip For Non-copywriters by Lateeyph(m): 9:16pm On Jan 01, 2022
People Love to Buy
People Hate to be Sold to

Do you know how you can use this fact to make your copy convert more ?

It's quite simple...

DON'T SELL AT ALL !

That's it ...

Don't try to sell because you will smell(Your prospects will smell a rat and run)

You see....

One of the most powerful ways to SELL is.... "NOT TO SELL AT ALL"

Don't make your copy appear that you are selling to them ...

Here is what you should do:

• Focus on how you will help, improve and provide value to your customers.

• Educate them more on the product or service. People don't buy in a state of doubt or uncertainty, People buy when they know more.

• Show the passion/excitement you have for your product or service.
People buy with emotions. You have to upload your passionate emotion to your copy so that your customers can download that emotion.

This will give them reasons why they should follow your Call To Action.

The liver is a large reddish-brown organ located at the right side of the body below the diaphragm.

Business / The First Thing Your Copywriting Research Should Cover by Lateeyph(m): 10:25pm On Dec 25, 2021

The very first thing you should cover in your copywriting research is THE PRODUCT/SERVICE

• What is the product ?

• What are the benefits of the product ?

• What does it look like, feel like, taste like..?

• What is unique/special about the product ?

• What are the disadvantages of the product ?

These are some of the questions that must be answered before you put your GOLDEN PEN to paper

Sometimes...

You may even need to test the product yourself (if possible) to have a deeper understanding of what it is and how it works

This will further boost your confidence in writing an effective copy on the product
You will also be able to describe the product better

As a copywriter, You’re expected to write like an expert, even if the topic is completely new to you!

This is made possible and much more easier by research.

Excellent research skills are essential for you to write effective copies.

Research gives you a better understanding of :

• The product or service you are promoting

• Opportunities and challenges of the industry you are writing for

• Who Exactly your prospects are

• Your prospects' needs, desires, thoughts and problems.

Business / 2 Ways To Boost Conversions by Lateeyph(m): 11:27pm On Dec 23, 2021
Most people want to do things quickly but don't like to be persuaded to do things quickly unless there is a pressing need for it...

2 SIMPLE WAYS TO ACCELERATE CONVERSIONS WITH URGENCY

#1 SET A DEADLINE TO SPICE UP YOUR COPY WITH A STRONG AROMA OF URGENCY
E.g ACCESS TO XYZ ENDS 23:59 TONIGHT !

In a 2006 research , it was discovered that shorter time limits triggers greater sense of urgency which in turn leads to higher purchase intentions.

#2 SIGNIFY A POTENTIAL INCREASE IN PRICE
The XYZ IS WORTH $1997 BUT YOU WILL GET IT FOR ONLY $19 TODAY! AFTER TODAY , THE PRICE GOES BACK TO $39 .....

People love procrastinating. Procrastinating or postponing an action means they are not likely to carry out that action.

People will hurriedly buy today if they have been threatened to pay more tomorrow.

Business / A Wrong Perception... by Lateeyph(m): 3:05am On Dec 23, 2021
Some Copywriters, especially newbies think prospects won't read long sales copies but....

Unfortunately, this isn't true.

I was going through an old e-book written by an old copywriter in the early 2000s and he clarified this ...

"Forget Any Advice You Have Read That People Won't Read Long Sales Letters. They Will If They Are The Real Prospects For Your Product And You Give Them Good Reasons To Keep Reading"
