Damask: Hello Guys, my name is Damola and I recently submitted my application for Canada Visiting Visa. My concern is: 1. I provided all the required documents but failed to change the numbers of days to spend from 4 to 14 on the online form. Thou, the 14 days reflected on the flight booking and Hotel reservations. Do I need to do anything like sending them mail to inform them?
2. I want to confirm if the processing time of 34 days I saw on their website includes weekends or not, because they did not specify.

@DANASK, i only have answer to number 2. No they do not count weekends, its only working days.

Siga: Visa thingz...

Mr. Siga and co. I was told about a letter of introduction from the embassy how true is this and if its true, how can/will one get it? Cos I used to think that the embassy is to send it to u through the email notification.

My status have also changed oo...am a bit scared ooo, is this how it should be that the embassy will send a mail to informed me of my approved permit. But this all there is to it from CIC, even two of my friends that we did medicals together have complained too. pls somebody say some thing

My good pple I submitted on the April 17th and all this while it has been like hell waiting endlessly for a call for Medical but to no avail, just yesterday here I even tut of going to CDHC to make a an inquiring abt my application. Behold just this morning at about 11:40am I saw an email alert from CDHC asking me to proceed without delay for medical examination.... I can't shout please can u help me shout GOD IS GREAT!!!

Please i am vry new to this forum, but hv submited my study permit application 4 fall since 28th apriil. Am yet to received ani mssg 4rm cdhc. Please is dia ani 1 in ma situation. Cos am kinda scared cos sm peeps gts dia medical invite within 1 month of submision.

Me I applied 17th of April and I have friends that submitted before me self like say 2nd of April yet nothing. So i advise u chill small, as time still dey

I support @dommakavelli, waec is not necessary. i even confirmed from my prof that schooled outside the country sef...nothing like that. She said, even for a graduate going to read a diploma those not compulsorily need to tender transcript and waec, just ur university certificate is ok to prove it. But they can ask for it if they need it at CDHC

@RRobbie37, i don't angry with you that he shld go to VFS. that is d same thing mine have been telling me since the first time i tracked it with was few days after submission. Though it is not actually saying "package' it says 'Visa application, tracking ID No.............. is being processed at the Canada Visa Office, Lagos. To know more, please call VAC helpline number or visit VAC website."

But rather he should call vfs if he is not OK with waiting, my opinion though.

Yes, the letter from ur school that u r proficient in oral and written English language is enof. mind u, make sure its a letter headed paper and the university format cos all school have a format of writing theirs. signed and stamped... chikena

Yes u need the English proficiency letter from the institution that you went to, sign by the HOD or dean. the truth be say as a Nigerian, they know we speak English, so all they need is a proof.

Hi everyone, i understand that one will need a transit visa when transiting through some countries and some don't need it. So in a case of study permit, what airline will you recommend for one to use? considering the the process of getting a transit visa.
