I think the only thing to solve this is just to end it all. I know if I let them have their way I can never be happy. What's the essence of life without happiness. They are thinking my woman used the pregnancy to trap me. They have sworn never to see me with her. Even telling me to ask her to leave my house while I rent it out and then be continue staying with my sister. This I can never allow it. I prefer to die.
And if you die, they will make the life of your woman highly unbearable. They may even accuse her of killing you, and who will defend her? Pls just marry the girl and move out of your home. After a few months or years, your family will come to their senses!

No need to kill yourself bro'. These issues often get resolved over time. Be strong! Tell your pastor to join you in prayers. God can change the situation.

Lai and crew wish this bad news cycle to just go away.

Per this report, it appears his major concern is not the wanton destruction and barbarism of the deaths but how it really paints his disaster of a principal in terrible, pathetic light that even his lying, over-worked propaganda can't keep up with.

"When God wants to judge a nation, He gives them wicked rulers." - John Calvin
This news will not go away. sad It will be repeated, reposted and replayed on every single medium, so that the entire nation and in fact, the whole world, can see what is happening in the entire Middle Belt.

Fulani herdsmen have taken the law into their own hands, yet the security agencies as well as the federal govt, are powerless to reign them in, and put a stop to their wicked antics. sad angry We say "No More." Let this evil come to an end. If the killings do not stop permanently, then the media should NOT keep quiet or watch silently! It will never be well with those Fulani terrorist herdsmen! Never!

I was stopped sometimes back at Lagos-Ibadan express by over 8 guys, 6 of them were carrying AK47 and other machine guns with two holding cutlass (note my precise description in numbers and identity), they are lean and did not cover their face. I heard their language (Distinctly Fulani), now ask me that question again.

She saw them, heard them, stayed with them a while, only a few of them if any understand pidgin, please be more objective when in public, cos it is very easy to betray your level of reasoning.
In fact, I wonder how people reason. Fulfude is a very distinct language, which is quite different from Hausa or Kanuri or other Northern languages. My younger sister used to braid her hair at a Fulani woman's place many years back. The woman's husband was a security guard for one rich estate, like that. I used to hear their kids speaking the language, and even though I didn't understand what they were saying, the intonation, the way they rolled the words etc, was quite different from anything I had ever heard before.

Both sides have refused to sheath their swords with the pastoralists flexing their federal-backed might on the poor, defenceless people of the "food basket".

The effrontery with which the pastoralists advance their gazetted grazing route in the 21st century Nigeria is perplexing to say the least.

A repeal of the anti-open grazing law will only lend credence to the bullying tactics of the herdsmen and further embolden them in their quest to have a domineering say in our affairs.

Dele Momudu succinctly expressed our frustration thus:

"A government that rode into power on the supersonic jet of goodwill of the people is barely struggling to survive a swim in the gutter of ill-wind."

Professor Wole Soyinka equally irked by the impunity with which the pastoralists operates Said

"These herdsmen, arrogant and unconscionable, have adopted a scorched-earth policy, so that those other producers – the cassava, cocoa, sorghum, rice etc farmers are brutally expelled from farm and dwelling.

This question is now current, and justified: just when is terror? I am not aware that IPOB came anywhere close to this homicidal propensity and will to dominance before it was declared a terrorist organization."
Stop using the massacre of the Middle belt people to compare the proscription of your chest beating IPOBs. sad If you have nothing logical to say to the people of Benue, go hug a transformer with wet hands....

This thread is about the impunity and killings being carried out by the Fulani herdsmen, not about your verbally abusive, illogical IPOB group! angry

yes I love her so much. In fact we love ourselves. I am 28yrs.
Apologise to her family for impregnating her, and go ahead and marry her in a registry. Talk to your pastor or imam to follow you to the woman's house, and also go to your family, to help broker peace. You can also ask an elderly friend of your own family to intervene, and help you beg your family for disappiinting them. Then convince all parties, that once your finances improve, you will do the traditional wedding.

I know a couple who got married in a registry because they were broke, but two years later God helped them, and they were then able to have a lavish traditional wedding. It is your call.

The issue is very complicated. The family I come from is the overprotective type. The lady I am going out with has taken in for me. The pregnancy is getting to two months now by the end of January. When her mother found out she disturbed her to leave the house. I just started working about three months ago and managed to get an accommodation tho my family is not aware. So I told her to pack in. She stays in the house while I visit from time to time until recently when my family found out about the house. My brother found out the whole thing and is very upset with me but he didn't tell any body. He said he is not in support and that no body will support me. My woman is already thinking of aborting it and moving on with her life (and I don't blame her). I don't think I can ever be happy in myself. This for me is not worth living for.
How old are you exactly? Do you love the woman? Is she a good person? Why not go to the registry and marry her? You won't spend more than 20k max for that. Then when things improve, you can do the traditional wedding. If she dies in the process of abortion, you will be blamed. If she develops complications during the abortion, and is unable to get pregnant in the future, you will be blamed. Think am well, o!
