i didnt paste wikipedia to prove they show support for asange. I only pasted for you to understand more about them because of your continuous usage of "excuse to carry out nefarious activities". Anybody that knows Anonymous knows that they don't look for excuses and their activities are not nefarious in any way. Anonymous have launched lots of attacks in solidarity with Asange. I knew where I get my information from and I can't review them here. Asange is a general with a whole legions of soldiers at his back.
Anonymous' attacks are nefarious! angry Aren't you aware of the fact that they support piracy and those who pirate copyright works, without caring about the sweat, time and resources that creative people have devoted to creating such works? shocked Aren't you aware that they tried to hack into Amazon's website, but failed? CNN noted that the massive Amazon website "is almost impossible to crash." Guy, I beg you please do more research on Anonymous and their modus operandi. I repeat: Assange's case was just an excuse they used to carry out their evil activities. They have been doing the same thing for ages..... and for your info., the FBI has been on their case and even arrested quite a number of their members. undecided

I know Afam and I know that he’s not a member of IPOB. Anyone who’s seen his posts here would know that he’s heavily critical of IPOB at times.

I genuinely can’t be bothered nor do I care enough to count how many posts I’ve “devoted” to your comments but I’ll take a calculated guess and say that the vast majority of them have been responses to your comments either to me or about me, no? huh Like I said, I really believe that you are suffering from delusions of grandeur. Keep it up...
You know Afam? Mmm... how well do you know him? huh Do you know him in the biblical sense or the literal one? wink Anyway, that is not important. Until he denies being a member of IPOB himself, I will not take your word for it. cheesy

As for the response to my posts, Madam please go back to the beginning of this thread and check who responded to whom first. Even today, you were the first to quote me. Now how else would anyone interpret that? Isn't that a clear manifestation of how you like to chase me round NL? Don't bother to deny it. undecided

Ngozi123:
Do you have access to the IPOB membership list? If not then how did you know that Afam, me and other Igbos here are members of IPOB? huh
Nah! cheesy There is no delusion anywhere. Just do a simple word count of how many posts you have devoted to my comments, and you will see the truth in what I said. Thank God, everyone here can read. undecided As for Afam4eva, he has banned my moniker at various times for taking on IPOB acolytes on this forum. Why does he ban me only when I take on the IPOB crew, hmmn? And he has never stated categorically that he is NOT a member of IPOB. Or do you speak for him, now? shocked As for you, your membership badge is so glaring, because you are always quick to label anyone who disagrees with the IPOB world view or its' rhetorics of hate, as being anti-Igbo. Now, I know you will come back to launch a tirade in a short while, so let me relax as you provide us with further comic relief, Ms. Tribalist Detector. undecided

read this and get educated about the group. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anonymous_(group)

Asange wasn't the founder of Anonymous. They're a pressure group that fights for what they believe in. I as a member of Anonymous can mobilize other anons to attack a government or corporation in solidarity with Asange. He must not be aware of it. But they're always behind him because they're all fighting the same fight .
I never said Assange was the founder of Anonymous. sad What I said is that Anonymous has been carrying out DDOS attacks for ages, and merely used Assange's case as an excuse, to carry out their nefarious activities. And the Wikipedia source you cited merely stated that:
Anonymous (group), the collective name of loosely affiliated individuals that participate in hacktivism
. It says nothing about their support for Assange.

These guys think Western involvement in the affairs of Nigeria over Biafra and Kanu would make the state lose sleep. Catalans were pummelled and left distraught by the Spanish government on the first of October over a similar issue and neither the UN nor any other country in the world has spoken against or 'threaten' Spain.

The Kurds are presently being threatened with 'excessive force' by not only Turkey but Iran and the much revered UN has been mute.

And then the case of Biafra... The ICC and the Hague might be disturbed repeatedly via their social media handles but it would not change the fact that they would turn a blind eye and pretend.

If anyone wants to secede, let them do so through their politicians in both chambers since our political modus operandi is not the same as Spain's. Until then, anyone who forms a group or riles up the nation would be considered a terrorist.

As it stands, no one can truly claim the army has him just as no one can claim he didn't flee when the Nigerian Army came calling.
Gbam!! sad I love this statement you made: "If anyone wants to secede, let them do so through their politicians in both chambers since our political modus operandi is not the same as Spain's. Until then, anyone who forms a group or riles up the nation would be considered a terrorist. "

And that is the crux of the whole matter....in a nutshell. undecided

I don't play the victims card. I'm not Igbo and I'm not lover of Igbo's but if I try my best to never let prejudice blind me from the truth. Nigeria in it's present form is very wrong. Among all the oppressed groups, only the Igbo's has been able to raise a voice to challenge it. And as for your comment about Anonymous and DDOS attacks shows you don't know anything about Anonymous.
As for the DDOS attacks, it started long before Assange antics became an issue, and it has continued even after he became a fugitive. Anonymous and co., just used Assange as an excuse, to carry out the nefarious activities they had been doing for ages.

You are not Igbo, and you are alleging that I am blinded by hate for them? shocked That was the very first statement you made in your last post. If you are not Igbo, then you are quite good at playing the victim card on their behalf. I have said it several times on NL, but it appears that people just believe what they like to believe. sad I am anti-IPOB, not anti Igbo. And that is simply because I detest the methods, hate mongering and vile expletives they inflict on others who do not share their views. The Rwanda war started because of hate speech. This country cannot afford to go through the same thing. So if it means debunking their hate -filled narratives at every chance I get, so be it. undecided

There are different ways for them to use, to get their own country. They do not have to go down the route of hate.

you're not sounding intelligent today. Please don't let your hatred for Igbo's blind you from certain facts. I hate many activities of the Igbo's but in terms of Biafra I'm with them because they're the only people that's been able to challenge the status quo. Life has no permanent friends or permanent enemies. Even if your enemy does something noble, admit it.

As for Assange, he's no ordinary guy. He already knew he would become a fugitive before he embarked on a mission of exposing evil dealings in government and corporations. The world really need more of him. And the navy seals guy and Snowden's leakage also exposed a lot of atrocities being committed by the US military, FBI and CIA against the world. If you say Asange hasn't had any impact on the countries he's exposed shows you're biased. Do you know the damages all his exposures has caused? Do you also know about how the internet pressure group called anonymous shut down servers and destroyed lots of data of many countries because of Asange? Lots of governments and big corporations have experienced DDOS attacks from Anonymous group leading to loss of trillions of dollars. Asange has a legion of soldiers behind his back that are ready to attack and destroy the untouchables. Their attacks are more dangerous than that of Isis and book haram
Whenever someone does not share your perspective you guys claim he hates your people. Don't you ever get tired of playing the victim card? As for the DDOS attacks, the guys behind it merely needed an excuse to create havoc and they hid under the guise of supporting Assange. Web based attacks, hacking etc., have been going on for years long before Assange became a fugitive and even after he became one. All the Trojan worms and other viruses that are unleashed almost on a daily basis worldwide, were they all done in support of Assange? Pls if you wish to hop on the Assange train, kindly go ahead but those of us who do not fancy his antics, have a right to hold a different opinion.

You lack comprehension and your confusion is so plain to see. You were the one that said the US troops invaded Iraq & Afghanistan and took out their enemy, so why can't they get Assange out of Ecuador? You said that because you assumed he was in Ecuador, so I asked you to update yourself by using Google. You failed to do so and persisted in your error, by making repeated references to Ecuador. I also asked you to find out if an extradition treaty exists between America and Ecuador. I never said America has extradited Assange. Now, I cannot help you any further because you have failed to seek knowledge and imbibe it. If only you could make an effort to educate yourself, your confusion would be cured.

You should not suspend your native intelligence and crown yourself the Lord of Idiots, cos you are not an idiot. Julian Assange is the reason some of you are safe today. The global collection and sync of data and tracking of every living Human on this planet are done by 'unseen' entities who believe the human race is just a resource to be explored and manipulated.

You should not insult Julian because he is defending the cause of Indigenous People of Biafra, because tomorrow, he might have to defend the rights of the indigenous people of Arewa, Oduduwa, Ijaw, Fulani, etc.

Buhari has wronged nature and will face his punishment even in death. Life is more complex than you know. And if you support the taking of another man's life, spilling blood that you do not know its components fully, you will share in Buhari's Karma.

So Mote It Be!
Thanks for letting us know that Lord of Idiots is your new title and Emperor of Fools was attached to your name. What protection has Assange given to citizens of the world? One of those unseen entities tracking and monitoring data and secret threats is America and its allies. The same America whose confidential documents Assange splashed on the internet thereby endangering its secret service agents and operations, is the same America that is regarded as the policeman of the world. It is that same America that your IPOB members appealed to for help. And now you are claiming that Assange is protecting citizens from them? Then you chaps should have appealed to Assange first for help, so he can send you an army instead of calling on Trump in the first place.

But unfortunately saibabaists aren't wired to understand how international politics works.
If he was a person of consequence he wouldn't be running from pillar to post trying to evade arrest. He is a fugitive, plain and simple. So since when did a fugitive have the powers to rescue others , when it is so clear that he cannot rescue himself?

Julian Assange is a fugitive hiding from the American authorities. He has been on the run for releasing classified US security documents on the internet. Sweden also has a case against him for some other criminal charge. This is the person that IPOB has enlisted into their camp for support. Someone who cannot even help himself.
