In the fast food industry, you Yoruba chaps have nailed it down. wink Look at it: From Sweet Sensation, which is owned by the Kamsons, to Tastee Fried Chicken owned by the Adebayo family, Tantalizers (owned by the Ayenis), Chicken Republic (owned by the Adeyanjus) etc,.... haba! No need for too much talk, abeg! cheesy

Tantalizers is a leading Nigerian fast food restaurant chain. It opened its first location in 1997 in Festac Town, Lagos. This first location was initially a small neighborhood restaurant, serving hamburgers. Success at this first location led to an expansion that has seen the company and its franchisees open additional locations in cities such as Lagos, Ibadan, Abuja, and Port Harcourt. As of 2015, the restaurant has 50 outlets across Nigeria.

It pioneered the introduction of Africana meals (local/traditional) in the quick-service restaurants business such as eba, semovita, pounded yam, ofada rice, moin moin served with different kinds of soups such as efo riro, Edika Ikong, oha etc. It also introduced continental/Chinese meals.

It offers delivery of meals via its Tanta Meal Express service.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tantalizers
Lady Kehinde Kamson, KJW, (born 14 August 1961 in Lagos, Nigeria) is a Nigerian entrepreneur, business leader, and philanthropist. She is one of the pioneers in the fast food sector and an outstanding female business leader in Nigeria. She is best known as the Founder and CEO of Sweet Sensation Confectionery Limited – one of the strongest brands in the fast food industry in Nigeria, which she started from a backyard shed and a tiny converted security house with just two used air conditioners and a few other refurbished scrap equipment, after giving up a lucrative accounting career. She is one of those credited with changing the competitive outlook of the Quick Service Restaurant industry in Nigeria thereby leading to the astronomical growth seen in the industry in the 90s and first decade of the 2000s.

The business has since grown to become one of the most successful chain of Quick Service Restaurant businesses in Nigeria with over 25 outlets across the country, over 2,000 employees and over 60 array of meals that are served daily. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kehinde_Kamson
The birth of De-Tastee Fried Chicken Limited is a translation of an idea conceived by an industrious woman, Mrs. Olayinka Pamela Adedayo, which to the glory of God has transformed into a big organization and a great fortune not only for the owners, but also to thousand of families across Nigeria and the larger society as a whole. In the quest to actualize the idea, she established Tastee Pot in 1989 to render outdoor catering services to distinguished and discerning clientele across Nigeria.

De Tastee Group is a leading quick service restaurant, Outdoor Caterers, Event Hall Managers and Home delivery hospitality outfit. http://www.tfc.com.ng/about.php
Chicken Republic is an ambitious, world-class modern African brand. It began operations in 2004 and have already opened over 65 stores within Nigeria and Ghana, making us proud of our hard-earned reputation as the fastest growing chicken brand in West Africa.

Our simple “Taste More” philosophy encourages a bold spirit of adventure as we set out to challenge the status quo by constantly raising the quality and standards of our products and services. As a member of the Food Concepts Group we are also pleased to announce, that as of 25th May 2009, we became ISO certified by successfully undertaking the quality management systems audit (NIS ISO 9001: 2000). Our primary aim was to improve on our preexisting operational excellence policy and to ensure that the company’s internal processes are aligned with internationally accepted standards.http://www.chicken-republic.com/about-us/

~ MANUFACTURERS IN THE FOOD & BEVERAGE INDUSTRY ~

IN the 1980s, Olumuyiwa Oluwole Aiyegbusi was named one of the young Nigerian industrialists of the future. The US-trained engineer, who also had a stint with the Federal Institute of Industrial Research (FIIRO), Oshodi,Lagos, sells palm wine in cans; and this he does profitably in London, USA, Latin America and Nigeria using his company — Olu Olu Food Processing Company — as a platform. Now a conglomerate, Olu Olu has offshoots in different parts of the world.

Having set out from his wife’s kitchen in London after leaving school in the US, Aiyegbusi’s success story is an interesting one. According to him, one of his American friends had foretold of his success during his school days some 30 years ago when he was doing a research for the NASA programme.

He told The Guardian: “When I first came up with “Poundo yam”, I remember a British/Nigerian multinational company wanted to also introduce their “Poundo Yam” in 1988 in England. The company had to retreat. I made them to retreat, because, theirs was flakes, and when you prepare it, you will find lumps there. Mine was genuine and it was through innovation, research, and we are always aiming for the best.”

Although he was also doing Borehole prospecting, that was his entry into food processing through the bottling of palm wine. Thirty years after, Aiyegbusi’s is known as the man who makes canned palm wine. Though considered expensive, his “poundo yam” also sells globally.

“Do you know that my biggest selling product right now is plantain chips, “ipekere”, ordinary “ipekere?” They eat it in Russia, Scotland, Taiwan, USA, South Africa, because it’s a snack, just the “ipekere” and people worry me and say oh; “when we go back, can we eat your plantain chip, because we cannot get it here;” and I said, ‘well, because the money to set up the production or operation was sourced from overseas, so that’s when I am going to pay my loan back.”

Aiyegbusi was one of the brains behind former Governor Segun Oni’s yam and tuberous crops preservation project at Ilasa-Ekiti, Ekiti State.

“All I needed was 1400 pounds to start. From my mini cabin, I have only saved 800 pounds.” His wife said: “Don’t worry, my total savings is 630 pounds, I will give you 600, you join with your 800 pounds. Let’s go and start, God will bless you.”

Within three months, Aiyegbusi had a turnover of 10,000 pounds (Ten thousand Pounds)! Then he thought he was on top of the world. Today, his food business worldwide now has a turn over close to about 0.7 Billion Naira from 1,400 pounds. https://tundeakingbade./2013/02/17/aiyegbusi-from-n7-500-in-wifes-kitchen-to-n700m-turnover-in-food-processing-business/

Honestly, you guys all need to stop this exchange of words please! angry We were supposed to be posting info., on the production, manufacturing, sales and commercial successes of various firms located in the SW and the SE, and not expected to be trading words & unsightly pictures like this.

For example are you aware that the Amuwo-Odofin axis of Lagos state hosts a lot of SME companies? huh

For instance, if in Amuwo Odofin Local Government of Lagos State, there are about 20 SMEs springing up weekly, that will help a long way because SMEs are the backbone of any economy. Besides the fact that they are so small in nature, they are very competitive. They compete amongst themselves. And that competition brings about efficiency through the challenges they create which in turn makes them very resourceful.

So, the environment that would encourage the creation of SMEs is very important to the development of the economy. And we expect the Minister to look at this area very well. http://www.nigerianbestforum.com/blog/in-nigeria-power-is-about-40-cost-of-production/

did I invoke it in you,?were you the only one in this thread that you had to take it personal..don't tell me that you have a thing with amadioha that make you fear it this much....you lots are known to be fetish and loves to sacrifice human skull and body..go to fp and see for yourself..and if care is not taken, they will take you someday..just watch your skinny non musclar dirty back..
Why should I be bothered about Amadioha? shocked He happens to be your own deity, that was why you quickly invoked his name on this thread. And you are the fetish one here. You have been invoking all kinds of strange gods up and down, and making allusions to all kinds of sacrifices. It must be something you are used to doing, not so? You are the one that will be taken and used to sacrifice human skull and body, because that is what you have wished for yourself. Abeg swerve comot! angry
