Chai....
No man can kick his wife out of his house anyhow in Nigeria and retain children.. that's just a lie
OK.. is that why the woman will take his house and money smh...
Godforbid I ever travel to the UK again before one demon falsely accuse me of assault or sexual harassment..
Trust UK ladies at your own peril Who told you that "No man can kick his wife out of his house anyhow in Nigeria and retain children.. that's just a lie?" Something that has been happening all over Nigeria, since time immemorial? Even sons of judges do it. Were you not in this same Nigeria, when the son of a former judge snatched his son away from the mother at the airport, and kept him away from her for over 7 years, despite court injunction? LivingFree: Yet it has been done and can still be done... Thanks for educating him, oh! |

or when did marrying a lady becomes a man's responsibility?
as long as he's providing for the kid then he's fulfilling his responsibility!! Oh so he can impregnate her, without any responsibility? Ok, may the same thing be done to your sisters and daughters....as long as the man buys food for her kid. Oya, say Amen! |

abbey621: With that philosophy we might as well stay off social media, skype or even communicate with the world. The problem with most Nigerians who think like you is that you've been oppressed for so long, you no longer know what is right or wrong. If I buy a Porsche for my wife and she posts it on her personal Facebook page, whose father or mother would challenge me? Whose father or mother knows how I make my money? Whose grandfather or great grandmother knows my struggles? I repeat, when it comes to personal relationships everyone should mind their business and if you can't, at least MAN UP and say it to their face instead of hiding behind electronically generated words, see if your a^^ won't get KNOCKED OUT! And I repeat: you cannot broadcast your private or personal matters to the whole world via social media, and not expect people to react. And people's reactions are unpredictable, because human nature itself is unpredictable. You or your wife who posted the Porsche online, made it their business, for goodness sake! You made your personal stuff, public! Or is it that people simply do not know where to draw the line between keeping things private, and making it public, anymore? Nobody is asking you to stay off Skype, Twitter etc, but be careful what you broadcast to the public. That's all. Afterall, Skype, Twitter, Facebook etc are just public channels of communication... If you want people to mind their business when it comes to matters affecting your personal life, then be sensible enough to keep your stuff to yourself, or make it private. Social media is a public medium. There is a reason why the Oyinbo people invented the term: "private and confidential." They also added the words "discretion" into the mix. Go figure. If you are not MAN enough to take the heat of public reaction, then keep out of the kitchen.....or social media space!

You people seem to think celebrities and their relations are not human being but they cry, laugh, bleed, get depressed just like you and everybody else! Wait first.... is Twitter, Facebook or Instagram your personal diary? If you don't want people to criticise what you put out there in the digital space, then don't share your personal photos and other private stuff, with thousands or millions of followers on such social platforms. Afterall, if your photo was kept in a picture frame on your bedside table, or kept within an album under your pillow, who would criticise it? |

AkpaMgbor: Is it a personal relationship when the people in the relationship makes everything public? If you show the whole world when you kiss, smooch, eat, bath and sleep with someone you are in a relationship with, do you still have the moral justification to ask people to mind their business?? Davido’s case is different because he needs the public to stay relevant, and staying relevant means making more money from album sales and stuffs..when you’re in the public you have to accept the good, bad and ugly that comes with it...if you want people to ‘mind their business’ then don’t make your business public on a SOCIAL media... I love this quote: "If you want people to ‘mind their business’ then don’t make your business public, on SOCIAL media..." Epic!

Tellemall: That was your message to anybody who read that. It sounds like your defense for people not being called by their names is that it has not stopped them from being "jerks", and that those who do not go by their names are great guys.
People will agree that's what you posted previously.
Point is, people should be called by their names. Apart from close family, there is no reason not to refer to a person by their name. Most reasons for not doing so don't make much sense. Guy, again I repeat: go back and read my post slowly with an open mind. And you would see where you erred, in trying to make sense of my remarks. I am a firm believer in calling people by whatever names they prefer, or addressing them in whatever way they would like to be addressed. The issue of identity is central to the soul of every human being. If that bothers you too much...too bad!

nosiebaba: The installation and fitting on commercial buses are done with 100% accordance to world safety standards and even if the commercial drivers are careless or have left some parts exposed probably by their mechanic or accident, this company green gas has taken the pain to regularly send teams to their garage for free inspection and repairs. You can always visit their office to see how effective and highly trained their engineers are most of them are even expatriates who have taken their time to bring technological advancements from their country to nigeria. The government encourages over reliance on petrol such that when there is a scarcity or proce increase citizens are held to ransom and left hopeless. Alternative energy sources is the answer for nigeria and if any one has concerns it should be stated intelligently not out of antagonism. Visit the office get first hand information examination and observation. Almost 30% of trailer tractora use CNG. Getting humongous savings. Thanks for your contribution Oga, stop advertising CNG usage and installation services to me. There is no antagonism anywhere. If you compare the CNG kit installations done on vehicles abroad, with the ones done on the danfos inside Nigeria, you will realise there is a big difference in terms of craftsmanship and safety. There is still a lot of room for improvement, down here! |
Car Talk › Re: Lagos Danfo Buses Now Use Gas Instead Of Petrol - Photos by laudate: 6:18pm On May 02, 2018*. Modified: 6:49pm On May 02, 2018 |
nosiebaba: 1)CNG cylinders are designed to handle more extreme conditions than LPG. 2) for the same cylinder lpg gas takes more gas than cng hence lpg is more expensive. E 3) a cylinder of lpg is 3800 while the same cylinder size of CNG is 900 naira. 4) lpg has higher calorific value or energy content than CNG hence a higher risk of explosion. 5) there is only 1 cng station for vehicular fuels and it is located at ibafo adjacent to MFM prayer city. Its called Green gas limited. So if you ply this route often it will be of immense benefit to you to convert your car to run on either petrol or natural gas. Whichever one is available in your vehicle you can select by just the push of a button. 6) natural gas is the cheapest source of fuel in Nigeria and we have it in super abundance, trillions of standarf cubic feet in reserves. 7) its the cleanest combustible fuel for power and enrrgy generation in the world today. I can go on and on And I still have issues with your No. 1. CNG cylinders are not designed to handle more extreme conditions than LPG. CNG cylinders are merely thicker than LPG cylinders, because of the pressure of CNG gas itself. 1). LPG has almost 3x the energy density with 25MJ/L for LPG versus only 9MJ/L for CNG. The big difference is in volumetric energy density. This is why CNG cylinders have a tare weight approximately 3x heavier, than comparable capacity LPG cylinders. In other words, for comparable capacity cylinders, the LPG cylinders will last more than twice as long as CNG cylinders. Finally, the equipment to fill the CNG cylinders is very expensive – much more than LPG. There is no higher risk of explosion for LPG tanks or canisters. Risk of explosion is the same for both CNG and LPG. 2). Both CNG and LPG are both cleaner fuels than petrol or diesel. Assuming they have the same sized fuel tanks, LPG has a much greater cruising range, due to the higher energy content. However, CNG fuelled vehicles typically have a much larger and heavier tank, usually infringing on boot space. Even with a larger tank, many CNG vehicles still have a diminished cruising range. 3). In the whole of Lagos, there are only 2 CNG refill stations. One is at Ilasamaja, while the other one is at Ibafo, which is even Ogun state. But in Lagos, there are over 10 LPG refueling stations, owned by both Oando and a few Forte oil stations. A car that is converted to run on CNG in Victoria Island, would have to go all the way to Ilasamaja or Ibafo, to refuel with CNG, unlike a car that is converted to LPG in Victoria Island, which can easily refuel in Marina, Somolu and even Lekki area. |
