Its not lollipop recovery.. The leagoo kiicaa stock rom has its own recovery.. With the stock rom.. Even if ur fone has fault u can flash it back.. Dats one of d advantage.. And by the way hw did u come to conclusion of outdated lollipop.. Na wa fr u l

You will extract the zip file.. Den go to d extracted folddr and copy recovery.img to a folder.. Also add android scatter 6580 .. Is in the folder too.. Den download twrp 3.1.1 for lollipop and put it in d folder..

Den launch ur sp flash tool and tick recovery only to flash twrp.. whn twrp is installed.. U can now flash suoersu via twrp to root

The only way to root it is to flash twrp recovery then flash supersu 2.78..
But since its a new phone. The recovery.img is only available if you download the stock rom
