The other redmi 5 plus guy lamenting about rom flashing, I posted a file to reboot a device into edl mode from fastboot sometime in the past.

The fone is already wit me for more dan a week nw.. it came wit fake global rom, i heard som pips bricked their fones wen dey updated wit d updater app..

Duno if i download d recovery dev rom n flash it via recovery after wipin data n factory reset will be fine..

Funny thing about the Antutu Benchmark scores of both. I'm slightly happier that i went with the Note 4X. I think the 4x has stood the test of time tbh or maybe because the upgrade after 1 year isn't significant enough to upgrade. You should definitely get the 5 plus since infinity displays are very in now.
