I think when you are reporting or referring you use 'a 20 year old lady', but if it's quite personal you can say 'i am 20 years old'. You can see that that there was 'lady' in the first one to show reference but u don't need it in d second one cos its obvious to the hearer what gender u are or so.

I can still remember very vividly when I was about entering senior class. Every one was trying to get to one department or the other. There were peeps going to science, commercial and art department. Some chose paths that they never can cross, I noticed a lot among us chose their department because of pressure from home as well as peer pressure.
I guess it's because of the way we look at art and commercial department here which gives preference to science before others. But I can tell u that even back then some didn't know the elements of science. I chose art cos that's where the whole of my love falls in and I've never in my life regretted it. I chose to stand tall and stand for what I love.
So what am I trying to say? Well what I'm saying is that learn to be independent and do not be influenced by someone who DOESN'T understand your preference and ambition. Cos at the end of the day it's your career and yours alone.

I've noticed that host communities tend to exercise dominance in the federal establishments within it. Does this mean that the organisation is exclusive to them. This is demonstrated in how they treat someone coming from another place into that organisation as if it's not a federal one. There tends to be a whole lot of nepotism, tribalism, favoritism just to mention a few.
This is is of great significance because it has deprived a lot of people important things. Some can relate that they've been deprived promotion, some spirits have been dampened and so on. it's more than how we see it.
So my question now is that is this possessive attitude of theirs justifiable or not? I've noticed that host communities tend to exercise dominance in the federal establishments within it. that's the only thing one can do cos this life is not easy. It takes divine help to know God, our mortal spirit can't do it on its own

One might feel what will people say or what's next like this. But remember the same people that you were scared of their opinions will be the one to praise you well they see you with the child later. They will be the ones saying "oh what a beautiful girl, what an handsome boy, very intelligent, very bright" making you forget how the child came into being. So don't try and add to more than what you've done before. Let an innocent blood live. It might be your only one or the most successful. God bless.

There are some now who are in a very great dilemma and don't know what to do in their present predicament. But if we were to take a look at things well we all agree that two wrongs don't make a right. There was this one of my friend who use to tell me that there is a big difference between whosoever keeps the tiny patter in her and who takes it out. She said "the one who takes it out has a guilty conscience to deal with as well as pain cos the pain is something else, and the one who keeps it has some one to call her own and play with and be happy"

At times we read and we have the full confidence that that exam result is going to be from 90% to 100% upwards, only for us to get into the exam hall and start chewing Biro. Is it that we cram or there's something wrong somewhere. And I can tell you assuredly that some really study hard but still can't make good result out of it. What's wrong?

My mother was d best thing that has ever happened to me in life. She was there for me when things were rough and tough. She was always praying, encouraging and supporting me when any need arose. Though she is no more, her memory still lingers on.

Mothers are sweet, they are Angels and a wonderful gift from God. They can be our confidant and friend but can we say they actually are in our private corners. Some mothers are so nice to the extent that you'll think they are their children's big sis and some *scratch head* you can't even tell things too. Some are so harsh to the extent that you prefer talking to an outsider than talking to them. Are you on a lovey dovey level with her or the other way?
