Though the two expected devices are no where to be found on Apple listings, a company that’s into adding luxury to Apple’s devices has started taking down pre-orders for the customized flagship when released.

The customizations are always outbound as you expect, the innards are still the regular innards, processors and all. The company – Brikk is offering you blinged-up iPhone 6s unit starting at about $7,995, and going all the way up to a mind-blowing $199,995.

The cheapest model is the iPhone 6s Lux, made with two layers of pure 24k yellow gold, 18k pink gold, or 950 platinum.

At the other end of the scale sits the iPhone 6s Plus Diamond Omni, which is coated with the same options as the cheapest option, but adds in diamonds. Lots of diamonds, making for a total of 53 carats.

Brikk says it will start shipping the pre-ordered devices around 4 to 6 weeks after Apple is going to release the standard, non-gold plated iPhone 6s duo. The Kayan Lahwi people, also known as Padaung, are a minority ethnic group with populations in Burma and Thailand. Padaung women are famous for their distinctive custom of wearing brass coils around their necks.

As the women grow, the coils are lengthened, compressing the rib cage and displacing the collarbone, creating the illusion of an extremely long neck.

The origin of this custom is a bit mysterious. Some have theorized that it is a way to make the women less attractive to slave traders, or to protect the throat from tigers. The most commonly accepted explanation is simply that a long neck is considered a mark of great beauty.

In the 1930s, circuses and sideshows were tremendously popular in the United Kingdom. Padaung women, advertised as “giraffe women,” were star attractions, drawing crowds of curious gawkers.

The neck ring custom is still encouraged among some Padaung women of Thailand today, for the same reason: Western tourists pay good money for the chance to see a “giraffe woman” in the flesh.

Many Padaung women have chosen not to continue the neck ring tradition, rejecting it as cumbersome and an obstacle to integration with modern Thai society. The custom has been rejected mostly for reasons of convenience rather than health safety concerns.

Yesterday saw the official launch of Samsung’s most anticipated device Galaxy Note 5. The device launched in an event dubbed Samsung Unpacked, and along side it was the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+. Both devices are a revolutionary twist in mobile phablets with some great next-gen specs.


Samsung Galaxy Note5 features a 5.7″ Super AMOLED sleek display. The innards of the device includes Samsung’s in-house developed Exynos 7420 chipset, and packs a hefty 4GB of RAM, the storage on the Note5 is based on the fast UFS 2.0 standard. While it outruns regular eMMC 5.0 storage, data hoarders have been locked out of expanding the memory – the base model has 32GB, you can upgrade to 64GB and that’s it. There’s no room for expanding memory via a microSD slot, and no hefty 128GB option either.

Like storage options, you won’t be super happy with the battery of the Note5 as Samsung did a downgrade of the Note 4’s hefty 5500mAh, you now get a capacity of just 3,000mAh, and worse still, the battery of the Galaxy Note5 is not remove-able. It seems Sammy is counting on the modified Fast Charging of the device (both the wired and wireless) to compensate for the battery hiccups.


On the photographic side, the camera retains the Galaxy S6 shooters, i.e. a 16MP sensor behind a wide f/1.9 aperture, plus optical image stabilization and auto real-time HDR. It can record 2160p video or livestream 1080p to YouTube. For selfies you get a 5MP sensor and an f/1.9 aperture.

Samsung has updated the audio department with Ultra High Quality Audio, which promises “richer” sound. This feature will work over Bluetooth with new compatible Level On headphones.

The Galaxy Note5 checks wireless all boxes, but a highlight is Samsung Pay, which works over NFC or MST (Magnetic Secure Transmission). Pay will launch in the US in September so it will be ready when Note5s arrive in users’ hands.

Is entrepreneurship your dream? if yes, then take the leap out of the plane. when you do, you will slowly build your self.

People fail to realize that entrepreneurship is a job and you can even have different businesses. Nigeria has groomed most of us to believe that you can only make a living from a white collar job. But guess what, it is a lie. Having your business at a young age is the best feeling.

People think only of failure. Am not saying that failure is not possible. it is and you will probably fail. if you do, you become tougher and more focused to be successful. Furthermore, just think you are successful in your business. You become a role model to so many.

In summary, assess yourself and make the decision. With Planning, hard work, smart work and determination any business you do will be successful

Today marks a new step in Chinese giant OEM Xiaomi’s existence in India. The smartphone marker is set to show-off the very first Made In India Xiaomi device. The said device is said to be totally assembled in India, under the “Make In India, Made In Andhra Pradesh” program.
