I will say no. Photoshop is not used for logo design. Logo design is restricted for vector based software such as CorelDRAW and Illustrator. You can use Photoshop for banners but there is an issue of scalability. So it's advisable to use CorelDRAW too

You think you are alone in this? I think you are completely normal. My own is worse. Sometimes I will detach from every one. I won't call. I will go to my social media pages, I won't chat or even reply messages. I am not just in the right frame of mind. After a while, I will start chatting again. What makes you think the logos of most of those companies i mentioned are the brain work of the graphics designer and not of the company?
and boss, i have been doing this for over 7years, and my logos still stands. you don't approve them doesn't mean the companies dat owns them dont love them.

You must have been following my thread for a long time, and you just dont like the fact that my designs re dope.

Logo has to do with acceptance, it is the thing of the mind, no matter how cooked, how well arranged the vectors are, if they dont meet what your client have in his head he wont be satisfied, untill u give him wat he has already pictured in his head.

So if you see a logo in my post and you think its under cooked, go ahead and recook it, let it boil well, add enof seasoning, but be rest assured my client won't accept it, cause i already gave him what he wants.

Can you even tell me wat is so cooked about HP's Logo, SAMSUNG, CNN, or EVEN APPLE'S logo?
We appreciate those logos because their owners appreciate them and because they are big brands and we see them almost everyday and everywhere.

All that matters in any logo is ACCEPTANCE bro, once you accept it it will be cool in ur eyes. It doesn't matter if you add "curry or thyme" to it.

Acceptance? And you call yourself a logo designer. Your ability to convince your client about your design philosophy goes a long way. The problem is that most of you want to explain the business with logo. If a company is selling car, you add car to the logo, if the company is an eatery, u must always add spoon, fork and plate without tweaking the design. That's why you people are creating poor generic logos that your poor customer will like. Instead of explain to them the idea behind the logo. You need to wake up and learn. Most of the companies you mentioned accepted the logos because the designers created something unique and timeless. Ask yourself whether your logo can survive two years from now.

For your mind, you are a professional graphic designer? You are not better than those you are criticising. I have seen your logos and they look undercooked. The truth is that there are very few good designers, very few. Most logo works here are as poor as if gets, and they are either copied from templates or poorly designed.
That's why you see some of the threads advertising logos for 2k! Some even free!
Very few here know about the logo design process and the work needed to create an iconic design

Yeah the video was obtained exclusively by CNN when it happened. It was a different event and I was not even sure whether the plane crashed. It was an air conditioning failure. It's is unconnected to the Ethiopian Airline crash

I woke up this morning to see a viral video being circulated across different online platforms and social media. It is said to be the video of the final moments from the Ethiopian Airlines plane crash that killed all 157 people on board. I viewed the video only to notice that I have watched the said video months ago. The flight was actually from an Arab country (I will still confirm the exact country)

Funny enough, the video is being circulated by mostly Nigerian bloggers. No reputable news agency carried such news. This is insensitivity on our part. There is need to stop this misinformation just because to gain attention, web traffic and monetary gains
