PDPGuy: Saudi club, Al Hilal, is offering Nwabali a N100 million ($62,500) per week wage 🤯🤯 The AFCON and Peseiro have done wonders for his career To go n sit on the bench for yacine bonou. Is that a right choice ? |

forgiveness: I said change Iwobi during the course of the match before the equalizer because it was obvious to the eyes Iwobi wasn't in that game. He was tired.
Paseiro should had brought in 4 fresh legs in the second half before that equalizer. Then I am sure the Ivorian doesn't stand a chance but unfortunately the coach no fit read match.
He had no plan B. but aside from peseiro's mistakes the Nigerian players became very over confidence in the second half especially when all the ivoirien shots were not entering the net, your nigerian players begun to let all those prophecies get into their heads Overconfidence caused them too, just cut peseiro some slack |

kennysville: I don't think so. Just that we will have to find a way to beat SA in Naija and hope for a draw or win in Johannesburg. They are the toughest opponent currently cos they seem to have a belief they can take Nigeria 🇳🇬 on. then u guys have to go on full attack mode when SA comes to Abuja. Should they get a draw or win in Nigeria then u guys will be in trouble |

But I will still say the boys did well. Only they chose the wrong day to switch off. We should make our team be watching the Movie 300 spartans to condition their minds for war.
We will get ot right. At least we didn't jabo at round of 16 or semi final. We were finalists which meant ot could have gone either way. Being a host don't mean shishi. Ask Nigeria at Afcon 2000. 150 million people went quiet at the stadium but your world cup group is very strong o, aren't u worried about that ? |

The problem with the sitting back formation is that its nice when u aren't conceding but if u eventually concede your defenders becomes complecent and if the worst happens of them conceding a second goal, then thats the end coz sitting back teams most often has no plan B. |

Hence forth the Nigerian coach should rotate his tem players especially the frontline, other strikers deserve the chance to shine.. Oshimen should start from the bench sometimes. |

Geovanni412: Adingra has always been a problem
The problem is the coach's tactics
He should have made them double up on Adingra
How do you allow 1v1 agst Adingra?
That is like allowing 1v1 agst Mitoma. That is death calling.
Brighton's plan is to replace Mitoma with Adingra. That's how highly they rate him. exactly, because of the crowd and also constant pressure from the ivory coast team, the Nigerian players were tired... I think he should have rather packed the midfield |
Sports › Re: Nigeria Vs Ivory Coast AFCON 2023 Finals (1 - 2) On 11th February 2024 by leathalbeast: 11:26pm On Feb 11, 2024 |
otokx: The players Aina and Zaidu were under par today, the coach though failed to read the game and so should be sent packing. Ivory Coast won with a local coach, we too should look in that direction but then. I was actually surprised to see zaidu sanusi starting the final but we'll it was the coach's choice, the coach should have had a plan B but he didn't, I noticed it against Sa especially when they equalized so I had a feeling should ivory coast equalize and even take the lead it would hard for Nigeria to equalize |
Sports › Re: Nigeria Vs Ivory Coast AFCON 2023 Finals (1 - 2) On 11th February 2024 by leathalbeast: 11:16pm On Feb 11, 2024 |
Angelfrost: Yeah, they played well, but individualism can never suffice when the chips are down.
Ivory Coast played as an unbeatable unit... They played with pure synergy and passion. well as for me I think the problem was not the players but the coach's tactics. He couldn't find an antidote for adingra in the entire match. He caused both goals against nigeria |
