Richtaiwo: Well, not by any chance supporting the current situation of the country, but this comparison no follow at all. If you go backward to let's say 1980, the cost of a bag of cement may even be less than N20. Minimum wage now is 30k, which is being reviewed. What was the average earnings in 1992? Even in the US, where you all take as model, prices of commodities in the nineties are not the same today. Global inflation is the word. As I said, I'm not by any chance supporting the current harsh situation in Nigeria but that comparison is off track. Go and research price of groceries in the USA from 1960 till date and compare it Nigeria 2000 till date. And come back to edit this rubbish you typed up |

There is overwhelming news of how the Police, Amotekun and Soldiers are arresting the bandits and kidnappers one after the other.
Eradicating insecurity is the first step of Nigeria greatness and Tinubu is not joking with it at all.
With security, Farmers will be able to go to farm and food will become cheaper.
The fact here is that most Nigerians Citizen has been pampered and spoilt by how Government dey pay subsidy for them.
Coast of living in Nigeria is one of the lowest, if you guys tour around the African continent you will know this.

Politics › Is There Still Hope For A Working Nigeria? by LeeSantos(op): 9:06am On Jan 08, 2024 |
For those of us that had experienced some events and bought some things long time ago in Nigeria will hardly believe if we still have a country to call home again.
I can’t believe; # we once bought a bag of sachet water for 50 Naira back then. Now that 50 Naira can only get you 2 sachet water.
# Back in 2004, my family traveled for my late granny’s funeral in the village. The whole family in two cars slept at a filling station In ore because it was dark and already late. Now you can’t even try it due to insecurity and kidnapping.
# With 50 Naira you can eat good lunch in school and still have change to buy something after closing. Now that cannot even cover transport fare to school for one kid
#I once bought egg roll or sausage (gala) for 50 Naira. Now it cost 250 for egg roll and 100 for sausage and it empty and very light.
# The same distance I used to cover with bike for 20 Naira ( two person 50 Naira) is now 200 per person.
# Of all of them. Seasoning cubes( Maggi oh Chaii) 2 for 5 Naira now sells for 3 for 100 😂
Is 50 Naira even still in circulation? It fading away like 5, 10 & 20
So much to write but that won’t change anything. I can’t even sing the national anthem with joy anymore 😂.
Is there still hope for Nigeria?
