MykOnyxo: that you don't know the mixing point between culture and religion doesn't mean they don't mix.... but let me tell you the truth in Hilary Clinton's voice " there is strong 'romance' between religion and culture" If only you would take out time to study your religion thoroughly you will realize that there's no mixing point between culture and religion, and about Hilary Clinton, see lives in a society where people practice religion however they want it, homosexualism gay marriages in religious centers, she knows nothing about religion but rather science and philosophy so that lost soul out of the matter. |

Nonsense culture. I practice religion wholeheartedly and abandoned culture, the two don't mixed at all, and this is the same Ooni who goes to church and kneels down for another God and yet he is himself regarded as a Demi God of some sort. I pity for the ignorants who worship religious God and tradition God. May almighty God forgive you people.

tolustx: What exactly is your point oga, I see u as someone who has an unnecessary resentment for the clerics. How does calling a cleric daddy make one gullible? And do they ask that they be called so or people just decide to d that? Of course they ask people to call them Daddy and mommy indirectly because they refused to tell them not too. |

tolustx: Church is a family. The heads or pillars of the family are the father and mother, otherwise called daddy and mummy. I guess that's why we call them daddy and mummy. princevinco: You should differentiate between physical fathers and spiritual fathers. Any man or woman who is feeding you spiritual food like pastors are your spiritual father irrespective of his or her age even if you are older. KingAfo: This is just respect. Nothing more robosky02: JUST a sign or mark of respect
ok
why do you call your father daddy? agwom: signs of respect for the chief servant of God fikfaknuel: I think this is the most stupid question I have ever come across. Even more stupid than 'Is he a boy?' Aiholi: Sir Seun, Daddy Adeboye as a respected man of God DID NOT tell any one to refer to him as that.. His spiritual children call him that. I personally see nothing wrong in the name.
In Yoruba tradition, we refer to anyone older or able to parent us as ''daddy'' and ''mummy'' so why cant a man of God be referred to as ''daddy'' seeing he is over 70?? Gullibles spotted |

It still won't change anything, a lot of Nigerians are poor and this has been a known fact for decades. We have a situation were parents give birth to children without properly planing for their future, you see people getting married anyhow and producing babies which they will later on expect the government to take care of them. You will see a poor man that can barely carter for himself and his wife will end up having four, six or even eight children, these children will struggle all through their childhood. Nigerians we are our problem not the government. |

Mr governor if your Children are schooling in Abroad please don't deny these children their right. The parents of those so called almajiri are the ones denying them children right, they have no plans for kids but yet they keep producing them anyhow and expect the government to take care of them that's total rubbish. I knew this school would not see the light of day because it is free, research have showed that free education has always not been taking serious by the students and sometimes even parents. |
