Politics › Re: APC Crisis: Northern Leaders Move To Cut Tinubu To Size by legba1(m): 8:02am On May 12, 2015
NobleG1:
Yorubas don't normally travel to the East unless for NYSC or political party meetings or few who attend weddings.

So you can't expect to be employed in an Eastern government while you sit at Ota. No ethnic group or region in Nigeria is more sociable than the Easterners. You know it. Easterners travel wide, there's no place you won't see an Easterner in Nigeria. We live anywhere, dine and party with everyone, marry locals, establish busineses that contribute to the society we're based in. We're nation builders. Such can't be said of either H/Fulanis or Yorubas.

There are many Igbos that speak many languages of other ethnic groups in Nigeria including Youruba and Hausa. How many Yorubas speak Igbo, almost none (few who speak a little Igbo are married to Igbos). So don’t tell me how assimiliated Yorubas are in the north. North is just a part of the country.

Imagine you thinking with your cochroach size brain....now read this....uchenna rented one room from my papa house ago palace road, okotain june, he sells okirika at celle under brigde. He travelled home december and return with unnemeka, his broda! Soon they were 5 sleeping in that room, no thanks to uchenna every december trip home.....now my point....ur claiming to help develop 'their society, why not stay back in your village and develop, u benefitted from awolowo free education in lagos and yet despise him, ,buffoons...

Yes, you guys have "special" relationship with Huasa/Fulanis (H/F) that can't be tolerated by the Igbos because it's totally onesided. They use you guys to achieve their H/F agenda and you guys are f*ucking too blind to see it!

H/Fulanis killed Abiola, a notable Yoruba man who won the first freest and fairest election in Nigerian history! Not only that, they cancelled the June 12 Election! I could go on and on. Now they're trying to squash Tinubu's influence in APC, now that a Northerner has won. Buhari wouldn't have won without Tinubu's influence and connections. Tinubu worked very hard for Buhari to win and these rag heads are still ungrateful. They just want to control everything as they did during their military dictatorships. If you think H/Fulanis like Yorubas, think again!

When will Yorubas' eyes open to see that H/Fulanis are ONLY after their own heinous agenda, which is to rule Nigeria forever. They see leading Nigeria, as their "birth right" and the funny thing is that they're terrible at anything that has to do with leadership. They ruined this country with the willing help of Yorubas.

How i wish northerners will fight and reject southwest, they betray their bother and voted for their enemy, after all the support south south gave to their son OBJ THEY WENT AHEAD AND BETRAY GEJ. No yorubaman will ever be supported again by south south . please deal with him and reduce him to size :p:p:p
I just hope your type can get a good grab on how things work.....you mean we should all have turned a blind eye to the outragious plundering going on under GEJ nose and endure for the next 4yrs. Are you such an illiterate that you kust can not add 1 and 2 together to understand the extents of damage GEJ and his co travellers had don to this land. I wonder when a genuine effort to salvage the country amounted to betrayal.

Car Talk › Re: A Ghastly Motor Accident Along Akure - Ilesha Expressway by legba1(m): 8:10pm On Aug 10, 2014
VolvoS60: Those of us on these boards who are within a certain age group will remember when the FRSC was first created.

The 100km/hr rule was strictly enforced. The FRSC actually had radar guns (believe it or not) and they used them. If you wanted to avoid trouble with FRSC officials for breaking the speed limit you simply left home on time and planned your trip properly.

FRSC officials actually carried out vehicle inspection at the motor parks/garages and they made sure they enforced the rules on vehicle roadworthiness. Their officials stood out in stark contrast to the police.

Fast forward three decades and the Corps is a shadow of what it once was. The price we are all paying for that is the never ending carnage on our roads.

There is no law on God's green earth that says all good things are unworkable in Nigeria. All it takes is a reasoned choice by Nigerians to hold their leaders accountable and to insist that these leaders get the system to work for the good of all. (Failing which, these leaders should prepare for the consequences).
You arw very correct, back then

Until we grasp this simple truth, the pain, tears and sorrow will continue.
You are very correcr about that, I remmember back then in 1998, was travelling to IB my vehicle zoomed past a road safety pickup, I saw one of tehir men holding wat I later confirmedt o be a laser gun, by the time we arrived at the ibadan tol gate office, our ticket had benn prepared stating the numba o fvehicle nad actual speed. The driver was booked ot go pay at their office at niger state. Dont sees tuffs like that anymore. Chidoka turn them to a revenue generating organisation from a life saving organisation.

Politics › Re: Osun Poll Today, What Is Happening In Your Area? by legba1(m): 6:15am On Aug 10, 2014
onatisi: no, oyinlola even lost his own ward . The issue was the candidate. Every pdp member knows that omisore wasn't a strong sellable candidate or product ,but due to his desperation for the party ticket ,many better qualified candidate withdrew from the party slot race . THe result would have been difference if pdp had presented another person.for pdp to have polled close to 200 k votes proves the point that pdp is still a force to reckon with in osun state
That exactly was my argument when he was presented as their flagbearer. Omisore still carry about the tag of the killer of ige, pluss his active involment in ife vs modakeke back then. Someone like even adeleke woild have taken this mandate. Anyways, we'll see soon
