Hello brother, I'm 30 going for BSc opendoor, can embassy also reject the visa for 30 BSc opendoor scholarship? Dadzynomolara: Well you can get admission with your age, people that I mostly know that were denied visa from the Russian embassy was not solely based on age, I know someone in his late twenties going for Master's but was denied visa due to certain issues, that will be a story for another day. Don't be discouraged about your age. Most schools will offer you admission once you are qualified but if you can be patience you can applied for open doors scholarship or other Olympia by September. You can also applied for Far Eastern federal university, or southern federal university for self sponsored program |

eddy2farm: Hello nairaland
A client help me to submit waec certificate to Russia embassy for legalization. He went through hell just to submit the document. He told me the new payment py document is 101,500 as against the previous information I was given.ok payment was made and date for collection was given to him. He wrote me on WhatsApp today that the document was not legalize. I ask him what was the reason for rejection he said no reason was given. Embassy took my money without even giving my client reason for rejection! What do I do next I don't even no. Making another payment without even knowing the reason for the first rejection is something I don't want to risk now. The client gave me a number to call them and ask why , but I told the client that he is supposed to be the one to ask them. The last time I emailed the embassy they did not reply me till now.
What do I do pls ? And another thing is did you authentic it? From the ministry of education and ministry of foreign affairs |

Bobomaigida: Firstly, you need to open a domiciliary account in Nigeria, this is the account you will pay in the USD that will be sent to the Bank in Canada to buy the GIC.
You can only use parallel market for it.
Buy USD, pay into your dom account, then do a transfer to the Bank in Cananda for the GIC. I know CIBC Bank does for people from Nigeria, so check their website for requirements to open the account/GIC
Note that, when you land in Canada, the funds will be given to you over a period of time. Over a period of of time? Like how long? Is a month or what? If it's a period of time how I'm I going to take care of my expenses when I can't access the fund please share more light. TIA |

Is 8 months course same thing as one year program? Like if one study 8 month January to August program will one be qualified for PGWP? If yes, will it be 8 months or 1year. If it's 8 months pgwp can it be convert to PR? thank you. ShowYoung: The word "cheap" is ambiguous, you may want to define what you call "cheap."
You should do a one-year course if you don't have funds for a two-year course.
If after the first one-year course, you have saved up enough to pursue a second course, you can pursue it. This is what we call 1+1 method.
Note that a one-year course will get you a one-year PGWP and a two or one-plus-one year course will get you a two-to-three-year PGWP. Some 16 months courses can also get you a two-to-three year PGWP.
Meanwhile, if you get a one-year PGWP and you are able to get a qualifying job after your study, you will be able to become a PR earlier than those who study a two-year course. |

Can i get your contact? macsilver: Before I give this advice, I want you to know that I’m an educational consultant for people who migrate through the study route and I focus primarily on Canada. I apply to schools for people and provide the admission as fast as possible, writing the SOP for my applicants and securing a 95% success rate. Having said that, here goes:
Conestoga would have been your best bet, but I advise you to stay far away from them because they have started increasing their tuition deposits. It was initially $1,500, but now they would need you to pay an extra $8,000-9,000 before leaving the country. My clients have been unhappy about this but we do not have a choice than to follow their requirements. Please note that the tuition deposit can not be negotiated.
If you however have the money, you can by all means go there.
Cambrian college on the other hand has their tuition deposit fixed and pegged at $8,014. Their offer rate and speed according to the hundreds of applications I’ve done for them is 87% (I’ll keep Conestoga at 92%).
I do not partner with Confederation College but Canadore and saulte are great schools too. I’ll keep those at 80%.
I hope this helps, Good luck |

Com) Chibzzy789: Greetings all. I plan applying for Jan 2024 admission and after doing some research and going through these threads, I found these 5 universities: Canadore college, Cambrian College, Confederation College, Conestoga college and Saulte college. 1. I found the OCAS registration site for these universities, will I make one payment for all these schools on the OCAS website or make a separate payment per school. 2. Which of these schools have fast admission processing time? 3. I checked the refund policy of these schools on their website and it seems fair. Is there anyone who has had an issue with refund on any of these schools please?
Thanks for all your help |
