You can't convert your language visa to Studium not to talk of Ausbildung which entirely a different application route.

The best is to try an and have the language level to B2 in Nigeria then apply for Ausbildung in nursing, if the company admiit you then the rest is smooth sailing.

Thanks... I will try learn the language

All Nursing and Medicine courses are in German. Your German must even be up to C1 level.

Oh okay... Thanks boss

If I looked for schools that offer German in Germany and got admitted, please what are the chances of getting a visa. I'm thinking of studying the language for like 6months in Germany and then apply for the nursing before my visa will expire

If you finish the nursing in English.. Is it English language you would use to talk to your sick German patients or you would only attend to English speaking patients...... This is why they don't offer medical courses in English... But I heard there is mother way to get in first before you start learning the language in Germany...

Thanks for the response brother...

Please for the bolded, can you throw more light on it. I would appreciate. Thanks

Please who has used ETX here in sending transcript. Is their service efficient and fast. I have a deadline for june 1. Tho i have send in unofficial copies to the school i am applying for, just got info my University is doing it this period via ETX

Read reviews about them on Google to decide if you will still use them or not.

From the reviews I read about them so far, they are very slow and inefficient.

Hello everyone,

I’m just a newbie here (someone sent me a link to this thread) and I have been reading contents here I must say I’m impressed by the selfless replies and answers.

I have applied for schools in Canada and I’m awaiting admissions.

Please I have questions bothering me since days now.
I had been refused of USA visiting visa before like last year (around June). My uncle that sent the invitation was the one that did the application for me and there were a list of lies, such as married (while actually I wasn’t married), employed in an oil company with salary of about 400k per month (while I wasn’t working, in fact just graduated), and fake documents to serve as proofs. And my mother’s name was changed mistakenly. Although I questioned the whole lies but he said that would be the only way they could grand me the visa as they would serve as home ties. And he is the same man sponsoring me.

Now that I want to apply for study permit myself without lies and with legit documents, I’m afraid they might check my history.

Please I really need a candid advice from experience gurus here on what to do and how to explain this to the VO.

Has anyone had same issues and was offered study permit?

Please someone should answer me as I have asked several people but no head way and the last person I spoke to directed me here.

"The agreement authorizes development of arrangements under which the United States may send an automated request for data to Canada, such as when a third country national applies to the United States for a visa or claims asylum. Such a request would contain limited information, such as name and date of birth in the case of biographic sharing, or an anonymous fingerprint in the case of biometric sharing. If the identity matches that of a previous application, immigration information may be shared, such as whether the person has previously been refused a visa or removed from the other country. The same process would apply in reverse when a third country national applies to Canada for a visa or claims asylum. Biographic immigration information sharing is set to begin in 2013, and biometric sharing in 2014.

Under the agreement, information will not be shared regarding U.S. or Canadian citizens or permanent residents. Any information shared on travellers and asylum seekers will be handled responsibly and, as with other information sharing agreements, exchanged in accordance with relevant U.S. and Canadian laws".

Quoted from US Department of State website
https://2009-2017.state.gov/r/pa/prs/ps/2012/12/202065.htm

As for the solution, i think other experienced gurus here can help out.

@Naijaforeigner This isn't nice to say. I guess the truth isn't nice to say because it was too blunt. You can see this now. I dont mean to argue with you but can you see this? And you tell me my words aren't nice. How else would you want the truth sugar coated.

Please this is not nice for anyone to be using as a case study. The guy was good enough to open up everything in this forum. If you have answer, suggestions or advice then give, not to castigate him. The guy is looking for a solution that's why he ran here. I believe most people here are in the same shoes but just can't open up or be truthful to themselves because it's not pleasant to the ear.
I have a friend in Philippines who was previously denied of tourist visa to USA and also over stayed in the USA when finally granted, but she was still granted a Canadian student visa without rejection.

It's not just Nigeria these thing happen.

From the guy's statements, I believe he wasn't happy with the lies and he wasn't the one that submitted the application. I think when applying for USA visa you don't submit or upload documents apart from your passport. The only thing is the marriage, employment stuff and the mother's name.

Please do not castigate, rather provide solution and if you don't have solution, pass.

My thought tho

Please I need suggestions of cheaper ones and with easy application process. The ones I'm seeing require transcripts before admission.

Please all the gurus here help out abeg.

Yes, and get them to do an affidavit of sponsorship

Thanks boss

dommakavelli:
I guess your question is about sponsorship.

As far as I know, you can use anyone for sponsor. All you need to do is to explain your relationship with the person and provide a document to support it such as birth certificates. Usually, the longer and closer the relationship the better. Maybe your uncle and aunt.

Now, if your potential sponsor is not related to you in any way, you might need to be creative and smart. First, you need to gather information about that sponsor. Has the person lived or applied to Canada before, do they have children or relatives in Canada. If yes, you will have to state that you know someone in Canada (It won't hurt). If you have a good relationship with these people, you can even get the child in Canada to swear an affidavit on your behalf that you are seeking a study permit for the purpose of study and you will return upon completion. You can also mention this person in your SOP, stating they have told you lot's about studying in Canada.

Anyways, Nigerians have lots of uncles and aunties. I've heard people say their aunty from their mother's side. Maybe the same mother with your mom but different fathers. So, no way that person would share the same last name with your mom. In this case, a simple affidavit with a passport photo of both of you could cover that base. If you plan to pay tuition, let the money come out from that sponsor's account. Go to the bank with the potential sponsor to collect a reference letter from the branch manager. If the branch manager knows the sponsor, it's even better. If not, it's okay. I will expect the bank to have a copy of that letter on file too. Trust me, they are more likely to call the bank if the sponsor is a relative.
I know people used to include a family tree, I'm not sure if he still dey catch tho.

Also, make sure the person's account carry wella. It is unlikely that a relative would want to go broke to sponsor your education.

Lastly, do not use a company account if your sponsor is not your father or mother. It is irrational for some uncle to be willing to spend millions from their business money on one relative's education. It doesn't make any sense.

Now, if your question is about home tie, include your sibling's birth certificates, landed property, prove of leave from your employer, bank statement, rental agreement, car.

Thanks again @dommakavelli

My two sponsors are actually my in-laws, Of which the main sponsor is in the US with his family and he is a nurse there too. So, is it good to state they are my in-laws on the SOP?

Tough one. Do you have a business? If the business is doing well you can put in the incorporation document. If your job is a good one a leave of absence from your office specifying that you will come back to the company is also good. If you can get any attestations from your village or community that they need you to come back you for whatever (just thinking aloud here). If there are family property or even village property that you can document that you are the caretaker etc. I am sure you get the general idea.

Thank you very much @Luckymama.

Like I said before no business like that. The only little business, which is not even documented and it’s s not even related to the course (Nursing) I’m going for .
Same thing as my job, sales representative, and it’s not related to the course I’m going for.

The only lands are family lands

Hello great Nairalander

I’m looking for admission in one the designated schools in Canada.

I have a BSc in Biochemistry and currently serving, but I want to go for Nursing in Canada. I’m confused if I’m to use my degree to apply or to use my WAEC result to apply. And also would there be any issues I want to apply for study permit visa, from the fact that I have a degree in Biochemistry and I’m going for a different degree as undergraduate?

Please your suggestions would be very much appreciated
