sorry mama,i had same 3weeks ago and I want to the hospital and the doctor prescribed Agumentin 625mg,I took it for 5days and it went jeje,the boil burst and I pressed out the puss.the pain is out of this world.

Mine started in form of a boil and I was managing with all form of home remedies that I know from massaging with warm water to adding Shea butter but no way.it kept growing bigger until I visited the hospital and doctor said it was an abscess. Because they couldn't give me injection at that site,I was sedated so I slept throughout the procedure.The pain disappeared almost immediately after the pus mixed with blood was removed.I was also breastfeeding then.@legitDiva.

Fellow mums i dont know if anyone has experienced this while breastfeeding before.

I have this boil just around my areola and its quite painful and parts of my breast is red. I have read a lot about mastitis and it seems thats what i have.

Went ti the hospital and was given antubiotics and ibruprofen the doctor said there us no puss in it cos it doent look whitish. I dont know if anyone had experienced this before. The pain is really bad. Biko i need suggestions

Thanks to you all for the tips and encouragement no one would think an online platform can offer so much love and support..
I was 2cm dilated for about a week I got really desperate and started taking 30mins brisk walking every morning I did this for two days (and gave up lol)

I started having mild contractions on the third day at about 3am yesterday and when it timed it I wasn't sure of the consistency so I just chilled at home. Fat forward to 6am the contractions kind of stopped.

Between 11:am and 4pm I got really strong contractions that were 15mins apart but I didn't want to rush to the hospital cos Iv been chased away three times lol. But around 5:30 I couldn't hold it anymore so I told DH go take me to the hospital Asap.
By the time we got there I was 4cm dilated and they were now coming at 6min intervals. Before I knew it 3mins, then I think every second lol.

When I got to 8cm the nurses said I should get up and walk around to help baby's head go down (ah ahn... I tried sha and it was about relieving)

Time to push, I tried the first time and they said I wasn't doing anything. Actually the midwife who took my delivery was asking me to lay on the side and push (as how na?) I tried and it didn't work and by this time baby was already coming and the urge to push was stronger.

God brought this other experienced midwife who was not even on duty aroyand she helped my tap my tummy and I delivered my princess after about 6 strong pushes at 8:40pm. She weighed 3.5kg.

I want to point out some things here:

Always pray for the medical team that will attend to you.
Exercise helps esp if you are post term

Screaming will only take away your energy lol

Drink lots of water and try to eat for the work ahead.
Meanwhile put everything in place, check your bags one last time and take long leisurely walks.

Good to see my teamies and porters dropping theirs babies safely.

We are 37 weeks today with no single sign of labour except for lower abdominal pains that makes me limp not even cramps o. To say I'm tired is understatement coupled with this heat o, I'm thinking of going to the hospital to tell them I'm in pains cos I'm tired.
Dr Google says multiple pregnancy should not be allowed above 37 weeks, how true is this?
