The person I spoke to, told me to write down a number. The person called it "Call reference number".

Also, I was told it will be escalated immediately.

This is from my own experience.

I called on Tuesday. I was told same thing you were told. No email was sent after the call.

I received a mail from the escalation team today, that a decision has been made on my application. On the TLS tracker it currently shows that my application has been transferred to VAC.

Aside my own experience, I observed something from the experience of others on this platform. I observed that it takes about 4 working days from the day of call or paid mail to get a feedback from the escalation team.

I could be wrong tho. But I observed that pattern. So I was optimistic I would get a feed back today, lo and behold I got the mail today.

I know this whole thing requires patience. But, I just wanted to know if there are people who have experienced such and if there's anything they did.

The UKVI isn't asking for any document at all. After reaching out to them by mail, this message was sent by the escalation team after a few days.

Please any advice on what to do.

This is the message from the escalation team below.


"As we have previously advised, the processing of this application has not been straightforward. We are continuing to work on the application and will make a decision as soon as we are able to. We cannot give a time scale for when a decision will be made. We appreciate your patience and understanding."

Your M.A did priority visa, so it's normal for them to put him in front of the queue. Even after the paid call, the one with priority visa will be placed in front of the queue.

I will just advice you to be patient without panic.

As long you didn't submit any falsified document, you'll given.

Just stay positive.

Still at DMC and awaiting decision.

I have made several paid calls, still awaiting decision.

They don't ask.

What they will do on bank statement is, they will verify with the bank the validity of the statement you submitted.

Hello Good evening.

I applied for a student visa(priority visa) and went for my biometrics on the 9th of December. Up till now I haven't received any collection mail.

I am tracking the application, and it's still at "Received by DMC" since last week Monday.

Please can anyone explain why it's taken this long.

Also, I will love to know what I can do next.
