If we want to build mosques, Pls who'll build it ? We're not making profits from it, so every mosques is mainly from someone or some people's will to do. If mosques should become an avenue of money making, of ourse people will be building mosques.

If you're associated with Yorubaland very well, lemme give you this analogy again.
Compare the number of mosques in Kwara to number of churches in Ondo. Ondo churches would easily double it.

It doesn't work like that here. Muslims in SW do not pray like that of Northerners especially Lagos indigene Muslims. And Muslims can pray in their houses. Do u think it'll be comfortable going to mosque five times everyday to pray even when you're working in office?
This is how you'll understand better.
Go to Muslims dominated area like Iwo, Ede, Ikirun and go to Christians dominated areas like Ilesha, Ife. Compare the number of mosques in those Muslims area to the number of churches in Christian areas, the Christians area would likely double it even with the same population of subjective religion.

Muslim individuals don't always build mosques like Christians individuals cos they want to make money with it too.

On a normal perfect christian street, you can see at least 10 churches and u would never see that in Muslims street

It's not about mosque, Muslims don't build mosques like the way christian build churches. Individuals build churches for business. Mosques are built mostly for just a location. Maybe a street with a mosque where the people in the street will just come and pray and the other will pray in their houses.
Also, Muslims of nowadays don't really pray like our fathers because of how hectic it is. Praying five times daily is not a beans. Most only choose to pray on Fridays.

Islam has been in Ikirun, Osun state as far back as 16th century. Islam entered Oyo empire as far back as 14th century. The first mosque in Oyo ile was built in 1550. Islam is as indigenous as Yoruba. That's why you'll see all those grandfathers being Muslims.

You may not know that there are lots of Arabic in Yoruba language, it shows how far the religion has integrated into Yoruba. Majority of Obas in Yoruba land today are Muslims especially Osun, Oyo, Ogun and Lagos.

Islam is the religion that suffered a lot in the hands of the traditionalist, cos Muslims were the first external religion to preach to them.
