Give no place to depression besides you need a clear mind to think and function well, depression won't solve your unemployment situation, it will only worsen it. Try not to stay idle, what soever positive things your hand can do, pls do and also read books by inspired authors, if u are a Christian pls study the Word of God daily and meditate on it. Keep positive company.

Please guys i need your advice too and i feel this thread could be of help in giving me some piece of advice.
I graduated 2018 finished service march 2020, a computer scientist. Been searching for a job since then and i got one with a general service company that's into contracts that pays 50,000naira monthly two months ago, but i just don't learn anything here as regards development. Its not an environment i can learn under. But i have an opportunity to learn cctv installation and home automation under someone but no monthly payment. I am confused either to go or to remain here and collect 50k without improving.
What career advice can you give me to help me decide on what to do

You don't have to leave your paid job to learn a skill where you will not be paid. I believe the installation is not everyday thing. You can let the person see reasons why you have to keep your job for the now, you can be doing personal study for now, watching videos on installation and when you have opportunity on going out for real practical you go.

I once had ulcer for years but God healed me. Things i could not eat before now i can eat them.With God nothing is impossible. I'm inviting u to winners chapel, come expecting God to heal u and he will.

Less I forget, I started a new job in Ibadan as an accountant for a pharmaceutical store on Monday, in which I was introduced to all the staff in their branches but there is a particular lady in one of their branches that ask me a same question, can I meet?

Speaking from a christian perspective, i used to masterbate but no more. I accepted God's word which says if the son of God set you free you are free indeed, so I declared Jesus Christ set me free and i believed it, and used the word of God against demons spirit of immorality.I also try to stay clear from things that will corrupt my mind.

Maintain a positive mindset, and keep yourself busy with something, because if you are depressed when the job finally comes how will you handle it?

If u think u need deliverance in this area, believe in God's Word, believe and claim your deliverance in Jesus name; study john 8:36.And if u think u have offended someone go and apologize.

The take-home message is not to give up, that should be our focus.

Suicide should not be your last option, after you've done all you can do, be strong and courageous, don't give up.
