its just sad people like PETERICHY would have discouraged some newbies from enjoying this current loot ..He kept shouting sell in MAY ! I wonder what he gain from such acts. Am sure he would re-appear during the next bear run and say "I told you" forgeting people have banked profit in between
You are the master of your own portfolio. Newbies were warned to beware of the octopus and one smart guy like that.

I miss the days when people like megainvest and mercilicious were very active.
When Megainvest recommends any stock, you don't need any DD. grin grin grin

How much profit bros?
Let the truith be told.
This year is not the year of selling stocks unless you are a trader or you have some financial issues.
Some times I just wonder why people trade all their holdings in dividend paying stocks.
Any time I remember my ucap I smile. I sold UBA because of financial need and I am still regretting because I didn't even use the money for the intended purpose.

Good, Nigeria should send a team of professionals in different fields to the UAE - Dubai , the team should go and learn what makes things work in that part of the world, the team should be on ground for a minimum of 6 months and they should bring a comprehensive report back to the National Assembly , tinker with their findings and implement it, another set of professionals should be sent to Malaysia, Singapore, Hongkong, Western Europe, America and Oceania, all with the same mindset, because it seems with all the useless policies we keep churning out as a nation after independence is stagnating the country, why not go and learn what others are doing that makes them succeed, apply some of it and move the country forward instead of all this jankara economic policies that is obsolete, archaic and not working,Albert Einstein says and l quote >> Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different result sad
All those that were sent many years ago refused to return.
Every year Nigeria do send people to different parts of the world but they will always stay back after acquiring the knowledge.

I posted many e-div forms via Post Office, to many registrars, as my bank directed me after stamping my forms. But unfortunately I've neither received alert nor email from any of them. In fact I pressured cardinal stone thru e-mail before their fcmb dividend payment. But they didn't care to reply... Though they've posted the warrant, I still didn't know what went wrong in the process I followed.
That was what I did last year and they were all demanding for signature confirmation.
Maybe that has changed now.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by leo1234(m): 4:54pm On May 17, 2017
Tritri:
Did they require signature confirmation from you?
Yes, when I did with Afriprud registrars.

I submitted that of first registrars at UBA for over a month and I have not received any text.

Hello BNSITL, I received a message from NIBBS that my edividend form has been approved after submitting through my bank..does anyone know what the next step is? Do I need to go to the registrar or wait to be credited with my money into my account...
How long did it take?
It's like they no longer demand for signature confirmation or did you buy through the primary market?

There is however an Octopus here that has been missing predictions over and over.

Should he still be called The Octopus?

while i was digesting and wondering where was i when uba was selling for 2.75 LAST YEAR...then u posted again about STANBIC then i realise BOSS pass BOSS ..Oga pass oga...after 2yrs i never make 50%....who did i offend Aberg forgive me ooh... embarassed embarassed embarassed
You took the words from my mouth.
I bought UBA @2.7 and sold @2.9 grin

The problem we have as human is fear. Our economy is not helping matters. Very unstable.
I still have my ucap which I bought last year @1.66 and have received dividends twice which is over 50% of my investment aside capital appreciation. Even Treasury bill can't beat that!
The best way to make money from stock is to combine investing with trading. Those over trading are only making money for brokers.
Just imagine someone that bought goods stocks like UBA, access, zenith, GTB, last year without selling. By now the person should have made close to 300% dividends included. Even dollar business didn't give that returns.

Their are stocks I don't throw away easily.

Access, UBA, Zenith, Stanbic, GTB, FlourMills. e.t.c

I bought Stanbic around N15.50 last December it is currently doing 80%.
Me too.
I don't usually sell, but I needed the money for a purpose I didn't later use for.
I reinvested the fund in dang flour and fidelity.

I looked at some companies results last weekend and I was very much impressed with four particular stocks.
Made up my mind to start burying those stocks when cash is available and if they are still trading within my entry ranges.
With the bull in full force however,I am just feeling dizzy.
Oga mention the stocks.
Some of us don't know how to interpret results.

It should have been announced officially, because some banks will still stick to the old charge taking innocent nigerians for granted.

BusinessHas CBN Officially Reduced Interbank Transfer Charges? by leo1234(op): 5:16pm On May 10, 2017
I just discovered that I was charged #52.2 for the interbank transfer I made using UBA and Diamond Banks between yesterday and today. Though Zenith bank still charged the usual #105 yesterday.
Who else experienced this?

I filled e-dividend form with my bank. The guy told me he will process it. How will I know it has been done?

Is it possible to process e-dividend with a registrar even without having any of the stock they manage?
