SURElee:Because the baby would share micro organisms from the other baby. @OP, welcome to Nigeria. You are even lucky to see an incubator. With no fuel and no electricity, an incubator is practically useless. Have seen cases in which the husband bought a generator to use with the incubator to save his child. |

Bazikd:What did you do to get it corrected,? |
ColtPython:For your information, what kind of system error would create such a colossal error. I bought things on that day and was charged N199. Before I made the payment I called the bank and I was told it was correct. Are you claiming the system error is a virus affecting both computers and humans in the bank or is your simple brain cell unable to compute. |
stagger:According to CBN directive, all banks MUST make public the rate of currency exchange to a customer BEFORE he makes an online transaction. Did the bank follow that directive? If no and he was charged at N 199 then later at N299, how is it a fault of the customer? H
|
onatisi:Noticed something. Made a total of 5 online transactions on Friday. The first three I made before 4pm where charged at N199 and I got the notifications by Saturday morning. The other two I made after 4pm where initially charged at N199 but later got changed to N299 and I got the notification in the early hours of this morning. I played on the side of caution and utilised less than $100 so didn't affect the account much. In anticipation of such an action occurring, I contacted a CBN staff over the weekend and he gave me some CBN guidelines and books concerning such issues as well as the channels to follow. I'm at work now, bear with me till 4pm and I will paste the relevant sections here. Account is currently negative but since it's less than N5000, I'm not bothered. |
JonSnow:Cry us a river. I also shop on aliexpress. Bought something at $8.50 and was charged N1695. Was able to buy a lot during that window and my happiness is all my transactions /debits where completed before it went back to 299. Wonder how APC influenced the dollar to fall to that level. Isn't it funny that you lost out? Bottom line is don't insult someone if you don't have the full details

EnterPRO:Let them try it and feel the can of whoop asse I will open up on them. |
holuphisayor:Are you serious? Dayum am I lucky. Thank God I took a chance. |
tosinjay:Oh yee of little faith. Finally got the sms from GTB. Was charged N1691.50 for $8.50. |
tosinjay:My brother, fear dey catch me to try again. Have moved most of the money from that account and left very little for them. Have called some bankers and they say I should hold on. Tempting but don't want stories that touch. |
tosinjay:I just rechecked. Was charged N1695 for & 8.50. Unless they would change the final debit, that's my calculation from my account. I rushed to try it out when the other guy posted that picture. |
tumababa:Just bought something on aliexpress and checked my balance |
anonyguy:Just confirmed it. N199.47/$ |
Just when you think you have heard everything

victorazy:This is exactly what my sister said before boko haram killed her roommate and chased her out of the house she was living during NYSC. She left her bags and clothes there and, through the help of Policemen in the police station she sought help from, relocated back to lagos. Funny enough, the students she taught in the school she was posted to betrayed her and lead the killers to her Lodge. She jumped through the window to survive. Visit Bauchi, my foot. |
sweetgala:On the contrary I don't respect her or her family. I recall a billboard I saw in asaba two years ago celebrating his birthday while he was still in prison. I also recall a birthday party thrown for him that was well attended while he was still in prison. It shows the kind of myopic and backwards reasoning his community has. You don't even need to visit delta state to witness such backwards reasoning. Here's an example evadreams:Why request for good governance when his people reason like this
|
sweetgala:So because her father was a crook who confessed and plead guilty is in a jail outside the country, the daughter should also be a crook? Please explain how that humiliates justice? |
And yet the governor bowed to NLC and recalled the sacked 3000 workers. The governor has been taught how to govern his own state ; what a clown. |
But OP, you have always maintained that this Governor is a man of the people, a visionary that wants only the best for his people. He will never let his people and the state to suffer that is why all his policies have been people oriented and Progress driven. Ironic that you are in the midst of the NLC protesters and not the protesters of youth hired to counter protest and praise the governor for all the wonderful things he has done for the state. Wish I had the time, I would print out all the glowing epistle you have ever written about him and distribute it to that group you are in. The effect would be soul lifting. |
Let's look at it critically 1. How many trips has the governor taken to get investors to the state and how many of such investors have established any infrastructure in the two tenures of this government? How many have even signed an MOU with the state? 2. Why is the state chamber of commerce not carried along in the plans of creating JOBS, JOBS JOBS. 3. what happened to the gas plant scheduled to be built in the state? 4. What happened to the waste disposal plant scheduled to be built in the state and the waste disposal plastic bags he imported that GEJ destroyed? 5. What happened to the 50 ambulances and the HEALTH AT YOUR DOORSTEP program he initiated in his first tenure 6. What happened to YOUTH MUST WORK? 7. Why did he make a promise not to discriminate against workers to the NLC chairman then a week later "suspended" so many workers. These are questions I expect abagoro and update to answer but they will pretend not to see, forgetting that if they don't ask these questions, their children's children will demand an answer from them. Remember what happened to 30 pieces of silver in the Bible? |
