Crime › Re: How We Steal Money From People’s Bank Accounts: Fraudster (photo) by Leopantro: 11:16am On Sep 18, 2016 |
I know the bank. Stanbic. someone complained of exactly the same procedure last week on NL. check the crime section. A social media user on Instagram (a.okelawal) took to his page to complain about how a financial institution, Stanbic IBTC, messed up his account and wants a payment of N170,000 to correct the said mistake. He wrote: This is the Story of How Stanbic Ibtc @stanbicibtc MESSED up my account and asked me to pay 170k (i.e. 170,000) for THEIR mistake. In June, I made a mistake by trusting Stanbic with a couple of transactions on amazon. The following payments were made: 15th of June – 62,553.58 16th of June – 62,528.44 17th of June – 2 transactions of 62,616.43 each. The money was debited from my account on the same day as the transaction was made and my account was used up until the 13th of July with the balance of 26,881.62 or so I thought. Between the 15th of July and 17th of July, I tried to access my account but I was unable to and I thought it was just a fault with my card. Just for me to sign up into my online profile and what I saw as my effective balance changed my understanding of life. I saw -144,308.72. YES, A NEGATIVE BALANCE OF ONE HUNDRED AND FORTY FOUR THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED AND EIGHT NAIRA. I thought it was a mistake and wrote to the bank and went to a branch at yaba and palms. Today is the 9th of September 2016 and after writing letters and visiting their branches, I was told that it was my fault and that I would have to pay. I am now processing my legal response to all of this but before then, this is to warn you to NEVER use this bank for any foreign transaction. Infact, just don’t use them at all for safety. Have a nice day. www.reporterng.com/2016/09/stanbic-ibtc-wants-me-to-pay-n170k-for-thier-mistake-customer-laments/ |

I stand to be corrected BBC Africa has carried the news the person that read the speech said it was plagiarized and apologized for it. you still carry the case for head.

Statement from Lai Mohammed .
this is a report from foreign journalist to further tarnish the good works of the current government and should be disregarded in totally. we have simply moved the aviation fuel needed by such airlines to those countries to expand the tourism drive in those nations. this is to ensure greater expansion of the government's framework to boost the growth and development of infrastructure through the influx of investors to those countries on their way out of Nigeria. everything is on track.
the above statement is a figment of my imagination but contain such credibility that it can be utilized by anyone he or she as please |

Finally, PDP hasn't sacked Deji, because he was never an employee or official. You don't sack a non employee.

miketayo: After a two-day surprise visit to Nigeria that saw him walk the streets of Yaba and personally lecture developers in Victoria Island, Mark Zuckerberg has popped into Kenya. Howbeit unannounced, I strongly suspect the Kenyans would have had an inkling that their nation would be his next stop. With an Andela in Kenya, it only made sense that he would be there for a visit.
iHub was his first port of call. The unofficial “Kenyan tech headquarters” which is an innovation hub, pre-incubators and co-working space, was designed to build an ecosystem around the tech entrepreneur.
He visited startups in Nairobi and interacted with them on a personal level. He laughed and admired the Strauss Energy Roof tile; a building materials technology that captures the sun’s rays and converts them to solar energy.
This shows what the world thinks about Nigerians Government, they are not worth it poor you

Investment › Re: SEC Warns Nigerians Of The Dangers Of MMM, Calls It Fraud by Leopantro: 9:05am On Sep 01, 2016 |
Nature129: Do not say what you have no clue how it works. MMM do not have access to our money; we merely help one another. Mr Tunde pays Alhaji Ali and informs that Alhaji Ali has been paid on the website. The cycle keeps going on and on without any of the participants depositing into a central account.
My only fear is that the Adkins of the system, if not properly checked, could manipulate the system in their favour and defraud unsuspecting donors.
But as for the system, it was a well-thought out concept. The scheme is well perfected. Anyone who understands MMM should know that they pay participants absolutely nothing while they generate millions of traffic around the world.
I understand that MMM has worked perfectly in many countries so I don't know why SEC is raising necessary alarm because it will demoralize new donors. But then, our government has failed us in all areas of our national life, so why should we take them seriously anyways?
People have made millions, bought cars, built houses, etc from MMM. These guys should allow me buy my own car and build my own house from the system before raising unrealistic alarms, biko!!!! here's why it would fail In this basic example, you would need one new member per five existing members to keep the scheme afloat just to meet a 20% return – let alone the 100% return. For example, once there are 10 000 members, for each member to receive their 20%, a further 2 000 members would have to be recruited the next month. As they join, so the speed of recruitment has to increase. Now you have 12 000 existing members and need 2 400 new members the next month, 2 880 the following month and then 3 456 new members, and so on. "Based on the information provided on the website, MMM follows a classic pyramid structure," she said. "The participants derive their income or returns primarily for the recruitment of new members. In other words, the returns are not based on investments or the selling of any product, but on money paid by new people joining. The philosophy is that you offer assistance by paying a joining fee." Mavrodi has executed his exit strategy - claim BehindMLM said Mavrodi “executed his exit strategy a few weeks ago. On March 20th Mavrodi informed investors there would be no more news updates published to the MMM Global website”. “Mavrodi has not been heard from or seen since, and is presumed to be on the run. It’s highly likely he withdrew and/or transferred out as much of the money he stole from investors before fleeing.” |

Reyginus: Fake news? I should site an example? To convince you? I don't think I can do that. I'd do better as a moral psychiatrist. After I'm done laying your ooze bare your Aorta takes in fresh air. Zero pun intended.
Don't even try to shift the goal post with me. It doesn't work. You said Anambra state government produce no rice for no other reason but because you feel they produce no rice. Your Coscharis is not sufficient.
We all know no business man will ditch his brand for yours if a deal never happened. Your claim to the contrary shows either a poor knowledge of economics or great zeal for mischief.
Bringing up Obiano's photo again is a pointer to your negative approach towards the news. We all know Obiano loves himself so much. But his image on any product doesn't make the story behind it false. I don't like pride myself but I wouldn't use that as an excuse to discredit anyone.
I only see you creating troubles whenever and wherever Igbo is mentioned. Except it's about Rochas then your patriotism and imaginary philosophical cap comes up. Grow up. You are been used. DAYUUM men, you totally reduced him below the level of the title of an organism and exposed this two side deceit as a human being. all that was left out was "your mama" you completely exposed Abagwo's jealousy for the state and after this he completely shut up. wish I could print this out and paste it on his bedroom ceiling so it would be the last thing he reads before he sleeps and the first thing he reads when he wakes up |
