kishimi8:Could you drop the location in kd? Thinking of getting a PS3 |
The final Google Cardboard product. I must say, I love the roller Coaster VR app and the creepy Sister VR. Checking other videos I sweat a lot at my forehead so placed a piece of green towel around the lens. If you want to appreciate what it can do, install the Real roller Coaster. Works on normal phone.

omoteamac, when the online petition is ready PM me. Will help |
Will soon put up a writeup 'HOW TO MAKE GOOGLE CARDBOARD FOR LESS THAN N1000'. As against the guy who is selling it for N10,000 on konga. |
o42austino:Actually, you can. There's a guy in Ajao estate in Lagos that repairs and hacks Xbox 360 that I bought my third Xbox from for 20k. However, it was only the machine, no accessories. Met on nairaland and communicated via phone calls, will definitely express my appreciation to him when we meet. |
And I have been complaining of FCMB N225 and GTB N223. |
Proud to say I have made my first Google Cardboard and I must say, it's interesting. I even solved the annoying drift issue. However my lenses are need a bit more fine-tuning. Also, finding that special magnet is not easy but it works without the magnet. Expect some pictures soon. |
MediaBlog:Here's an idea I have had for sometime that is small scale and utilizes infrastructures that already exist. 1. The network providers produce an app 2. The youths that utilize smartphones download the app. 3. Upon registration, the phone number is allocated a certain amount of data. 4. The app has the capability to create a hotspot. 5. People connect to the wifi and register to an online database. 6. The owner of the hotspot regulates the user of the hotspot via data allocation at a rate or price he or she determines or 7. The network provider allocates points / rewards to the number of users or rate of usage of data and incentives given. Thus 1. Increased Internet usage 2. Increased Internet coverage 3. Increased patronage of network provider 4. Increased revenue generation, both for the network provider and the hotspot owner. And such an app exist but uses PayPal for data payment |
Forwetinnah:I believe that the biggest fraud Nigeria ever encountered was when GEJ was assured he would win the election with the majority of Nigerians supporting him. A lot of positive marks and possibilities were created by the last government, though they never declared their assets even a fake one. So, with all these and prayers, why did PDP lose? Mass rigging? But they are the Masters in it. |
Adva45:So sorry about that. I specifically checked for Phaswane Mpe's book and found out that it's quite recent and used as a textbook. I did come across a link to download it but have been very busy. Will look into it this weekend. |
Considering a friend of mine got to the MTN office at 5.10am and got a tally number of 72, was attended to at 2pm. I got a number of 583, I might just do this barring any complications |

Is it not the same people he is owing four months salary? With a court case pending and fear of impeachment? Just saw a lecturer entering transport to go to IME. He complained to me that he left his car at home because he hasn't been paid in 4 months and can't maintain the car. He needs the governors car more than the magistrates. Did he not say Free education? |
Elxandre:Clarify something for me. My S2 made in 2011 could multi-task the same way my S4 made two years ago can. Are you saying windows phones of old don't have the basic functions of new windows phone? |
My opinion is if it's not Panadol, e no fit be like Panadol. What's the point of buying a phone that it's not android but runs android phone. Get the real thing. A phone is a flop if it depends on the apps of another OS to be appealing. Buy an IPhone or buy an Android. Don't buy a wannabe. And what lag do people keep talking about in Android? Have always used Samsung and never noticed it. |
lifehacker:Interesting. Are you saying that when you use the viewer, it automatically directs sound to the earphones without you connecting it? |
4llerbuntu:Have a friend who is an ophthalmologist who promised to help out. Follow this instructions Http://www.computerworld.com/article/2881175/emerging-technology/diy-build-your-own-google-cardboard-vr-viewer.html |
Borwe:Thought of using either that or audrino but I will have to get a WIFI and GSM module plus an LCD screen and 2 way relay switch. All that will keep the cost very high. |
lifehacker:You got the little bits, that's so cool. Love that stuff but didn't know how to make it commercial. Tasker has so much potentials. |
lifehacker:Sometimes I look in but all I read is IMEI tweaking and free browsing. Yet to read anything here worth my time. Will start work on two projects this month. Will make a Google VR viewer rather than buying one for N3000. The second one is the internet of things. Found something that, combined with tasker will achieve one of my dreams i.e As I approach my home, tasker will activate my hotspot which will put on my TV, heater and start microwaving a snack I left in it. Sounds like science fiction but it's possible. Plan to start selling it once I iron out some issues |
Wailers, on your marks, get set, GO. |
My uncle had a large security firm in PH and keeps dogs. The dogs are always pure breed and a lot of money. Once he got a pure breed boxer ; the dog had more muscles than I had. The dogs takes me for walks ; he walks I drag the chain. People jump into on coming traffic to avoid the dog, they don't care. They have better chances with a car. He had one flaw: he hated chains and breaks them regularly. When that happens, everyone including the owner run away and appoint me to put the nuzzle on him. That nuzzle would make Hannibal proud. One unfortunate night, he broke the chain and refused anyone to get near him. With mortal fear, I did everything to get close to him, hiding the nuzzle behind me. Then I jump on him. The dog beat me like a policeman and bit my laps and my fingers. During the fight, the nuzzle slipped off but I got a of the collar. Still the dog dragged me for a while until someone brave enough helped me to get the nuzzle. The next day the dog was brought down ; the owner had kids in the compound and he was ready to sacrifice N200k for his children. The dog was very helpful against those annoying local government council men in Port Harcourt. He uses a lot of Hilux jeeps and we put the dog at the back. The LGC boys see the Hilux, jump into the back to stop us and collect money, see the dog and either change direction in mid air or jump out faster than they jumped in |
dmcdad:I really didn't like tomb Raiders on PS, I felt it was too long and you had to think a lot. But I love the Tomb Raider on XBOX 360. |
leppyj:Sorry, it's over. |
I bid thee, goodbye |
Will send the links over the weekend. Please note that after that I will not have the time to reply to any other request. |
Musqie:Wow, it's been a while I checked this thread and had time to read my novels ; life has been so hectic. Sent you a link to over 20 books of his. You have 24 hours to download them before I remove the link |
princejude:Thank you for the response.for the second part I want the arduino, running on the battery, to monitor a 220V 13A power supply. It must not only charge the battery from it but also have regulate the flow of the voltage, having the ability to allow / disallow the voltage flow based on certain words in a text message received by the arduino.. Alternatively, instead of a GSM module, can it be substituted with a wifi module that is activated once it's connected to a AP? IS such a setup possible and how much can it cost? |
Good day. I need assistance on a project I want to make. I need an arduino that will 1. Run on a 3.7v power supply 2. Able to send and receive text message 3. Perform commands based on certain words in the text message I'm not into the engineering field so would prefer if I could buy it pre-configured. |
