You all claiming she was wrongly accused out of jealousy or envy and acting all sympathetic towards her shld know some people are extremely wicked and can perpetrate any horrendous act just to make money. I am not in support of jungle justice tho. A similar incident happened in my friends area where a girl of 7years was caught fetching bathing water from a gutter linked to the tenants bathroom. She was however,caught by one of the tenants and she confessed it wasnt her first time that an alpha sent her and usualy pay her 50naira whenever she returns with the bathing water. You all need to see the way the occupants of the house cried their eyes out that day.

This incident has occured in Otukpo, Benue state before. There was this Igbo lady that sells Okpa (it's like moi moi) there, she goes to the mortuary to get water used in bathing corpses.

Unfortunately for her, one day while coming back after fetching the water with okada they almost got hit by another vehicle, the water got spilled in the process, and the stench from it was hurrible.

Being a woman who's well know because of her Okpa business, and been fully aware where he picked her from he asked her, she refuse to talk, and people gathering around her.

They started beating her until she confessed and tell where the water was from, and what it was meant for. Luckily for her the incident took place in from of a police station, so police intervene.

It was so funny that most of her customers and those that ate out regularly started getting married immediately to avoid eating out.

But there is no proof that the mortuary attendant saw her using the water to prepare the food she sold. The report said he traced her and raised an alarm. Now that they have burnt her to death, would it remove the demonic traces in their bodies from the food they have eaten (if any)?

It is in this country people who call themselves pastors bury pigs and cows in the alters of their church buildings so that congregants can be as much as the maggots that feed on the dead carcasses of the animals. Who has killed them? What about the pastor that purportedly used the child of a congregant for rituals? Who has killed him?

Before putting her to death, shouldn't they have ascertained what she used the water for? What if she used it to take her bath so that anything she used her hands on would prosper (this is speculation as I don't understand how cooking with wastewater from the dead can make a business boom; perhaps traditionalists in the house can proffer explanations). Now, we don't know who else is involved in these. Nigerians need to learn to be patient, the case of ALUU 4 rings a bell. What if the woman is innocent of what they killed her for? What if she never used the water to prepare the food?

For the umpteenth time, let our lawmakers make laws that criminalizes capital punishment by citizens. We are a nation of laws, not a barbaric set of people, please.

Fresh corpse are not bathed but cleaned before embalmment. The corpse is cleaned again when the owner want to take it for burial.

The misconception of bathing corpse, hence corpse water is a fallacy.

This woman might have been set up by an envious competitor.

My uncle when he wanted to get married brought home a woman who was very beautiful, but his mom refused saying she's a single mom with kids tho his mom was just seeing the woman for the first time.
