That's quite small..jamme should mobilize the Gambian armed forces, replenish their provisions and then declare war on Senegal.
The Gambian army should remain on the defensive in the North while being on the offensive in the South. Divide the invading army into three wings, using a blitzkrieg style smash into the casamance region of Senegal.
Senegal would quickly withdraw from the alliance to resist the invasion and all talks about Barrow taking over would fizzle out.
I see you have some combative tactics in mind. You can like to send Yahya Jammeh a mail to enlist you in his commandos, you'll be given appointment with the swiftness it deserves. I'm impressed by your willingless to lay down your life for Jammeh's greed.

And you think the Nigerian soldiers on ground did not take sides too, okay o, I have heard.

And what is that talk about invading Ivory Coasthuh

If the French hands off Ivory Coast, Nigeria will pummel Her, Nigerian forces are not cockroach forces like the coward Ghanaian forces that were supposed to aid us in Sierra Leone under Ecomog, or the CAR army....

If Nigeria has to invade Ivory Coast, we sure will, if the French just leave the two countries to face each other and not take sides.
Nigerian forces cannot take sides unilaterally without a mandate or you think international politics is child's play. And if you think invading Ivory Coast is like frying beans, go and try.

Many of the U.N. peace keeping forxes sent to Ivory Coast were Nigerian, or you think you are talking to a teenager too grin grin grin

Ivory Coast is like another home to me so I know what I am saying......
Gentlman, they were UN troops stationed there to protect UN installations. They were not sanctioned to intervene or take sides on the matter. Even the French troops who were present in the country were there in the guise of protecting the many French citizens and investments present in Ivory Coast. But the French took sides with Ouatarra who was their darling and in addition they believe he had a soft spot for France since his wife is French.

So forget that thing, I know exactly what I am saying that Nigerian troops were on ground to do the needful.
There were no Nigerian troops on the ground. I'm done telling you this. Your claims here won't affect the facts of history. In what capacity and under what authority were Nigerian troops on the ground? No ECOWAS, AU or UN troops were sanctioned to intervene so tell me what capacity were Nigerian troops there? To invade Ivory Coast? Or you think invading Ivory Coast is as easy as frying beans?

Are you sure? huh

Nigerian forces were involved too
They weren't involved!! My God where do you people get such tales fromhuhhuh Involved how? ECOWAS was not involved one bit or you think Ivory Coast is some tiny nation like Gambia that ECOWAS can be aggressive towards anyhow? ECOWAS was practically begging Gbagbo whiles insurgents from Bouake and Yamoussoukro in northern Ivory Coast marched on Abidjan. These rebels supporting Alassane Dramani Ouattarra were covertly assisted by French forces present in the country then. In fact these French forces located and captured Gbagbo but when the TV cameras came they dissappeared leaving just the Ivorian rebels.

I remember that war very well back then in 2010 because my girl friend then (Ivorien) had just returned home for holidays and she was caught in the centre. I remember when I call her regularly I heard gun shots and helicopter sounds because she stayed close to the Presidential Villa in Cocodi, Abidjan.

Nigerian soldiers are always involved in any crisis in WA, and if we have to kill or drive Jammeh away from power, trust me when I say that it is a soldier recruited less than three years ago that will put bullet in his head.

Gentle man I put it to you that you're a blatant liar. Or do you think you are talking to some uninformed teenager or something? gej didn't waste time sending in troops to oust gbagbo. I'm not sure if that operation even lasted one week.

with a population less than ekiti state, jammeh should be picked up by hand and dragged to a cell for him to cool off.

stupid guy
Gentleman, stop misinforming the public with your delusions. Nigeria played no role in the ousting of Gbagbo. It was troops from northern Ivory Coast and interference by imperialist France.

All my life the religious people like Jammeh that I've done business with are the most ridiculously dishonest people that I've known. I'm especially suspicious of anyone who are quick to use these lines "in sha allah", "in Jesus name", "I'm a born again" when the occasion doesn't warrant such. It's a red flag.
P.S.: Not everyone that uses these lines is dishonest. But like the magician's misdirection, these seemingly religious folks are hiding their deeper self with religious pretense.
I totally agree with you. An individal's princciples should be enough for him or her to be a good person on the average. Most people who need religion to be good are naturally bad and treacherous people and they use their religion as hypocritical cover-up.

Funny. Let's imagine all these attribute you share of him are true, does it give him more heads than other Gambians? Does it mean he shouldn't reliquinsh power after he has lost an election? Is he the wisest man in The Gambia?

Anytime you mention Gadaffi you should put some respect on that name.

Gadaffi never conducted an election let alone reject the outcome of an election.

He was the best leader an African country has ever produced. His presence intimidated the west and portrays them as failure for their inability to control him.

The whole world and the perpetrators of the evil that outsted Gadaffi has regretted their actions and they will continue to do so as long as suicide bombers still remains a threat outhere.

Once again, next time you want to mention Gadaffi's name in anegative manner, you should do some research on the economic confortability of lybians during Gadaffi and after Gadaffi.
Guy, your are one of the wisest on NL. Tell them again! Put some respect on brother Al-Qathafi's name. How can people even dream to mention that dishonorable Jammeh in the same sentence as Al-Qathafi, such disrespect. Al-Qathafi was killed by imperialists, Jammeh will be dealt with the way he foolishly deserves.

The Gambian electoral commission stated that there were irregularities in the concluded elections although these irregularities di not significantly affect the result of the polls.
Now, this man is not forcing himself in power, he simply wants to plead his case in court. Simple.
Gambia lacks high profile legal practitioners, they don't have supreme court judges so they rely on ecowas states to provide judges. This is why his case is still pend in in court.

Why don't u just share your own so called"informed" comment ,instead of you shaking ur head.
I won't respond. Go and read and stop acting like you work with ECOWAS.

You know what let me answer you so you can always refer here in case of doubt:

Adama Barrow will be led in an ECOMIG (ECOWAS Monitoring Group) convoy from Senegal to The Gambia to be sworn in on Thursday January 19th, 2017. If Yahya Jammeh tries to impede this, he will be ousted disgracefully.

Senegal raised an army for this cause 3 weeks ago and have been stationed at the Gambian border ever since. In fact some battalion of the Senegalese Army under the autorité of ECOWAS with the backing of the AU and UN are already within The Gambia. Nigeria some few days ago raised an army to ensure that the transition act of the Republic of Gambia is obeyed to the latter.

There are also indications that Ghana will be contributing a battalion to this cause. Don't just sit and assume. Nobody will benefit from letting Jammeh continue with his impunity. He would be made a lesson for posterity.

This is politics ,they have just given that barrow political asylum and that is the end of the matter ,what this means is that he is now on exile. The next thing will be the imposition of sanctions on jammeh and Gambia . Ecowas presidents have tactically and cleverly shifted the issue off their necks and each president is back to his country to face their national domestic problems
that is the worst that can happen in this case.
Very uninformed comment. Smh

Zoharariel:
Swearing in to where? grin

Yahya Jammeh's refusal to relinquish power to Adama Barrow (A traitor & an Amerikan Stooge) was hinged on 1 thing only.

Gambia's Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) was manipulated by Amerika into falsely declaring Adama Barrow as the winner of the elections.

IEC had caused confusion by declaring 2 different results with the original margin of victory by Adama Barrow being 35,000 votes over Yahya Jammeh.

IEC later revised the result “on the same day” and still declared Adama Barrow the winner but narrowing down his lead by 19,000 votes out of over 800,000 registered voters.

This was what raised the red flag over the IEC’s counting competence, hence Jammeh's refusal to concede defeat.

For this reason, I stand by Jammeh for rejecting the election results.

Buhari & the Senegalese President (Macky Sall) can both swear-in Adama Barrow into their respective state houses if they like.

Perhaps, since the white house is still vacant, they can just do the needful by transferring Adama Barrow to Washington - their cup of tea! grin
Are you ok?
