I have met very gentle and Godly men whose wife provoked them to the point of killing them and yet they didn't lay hands on the woman.
Under no circumstance should either of the partner lay hand on the other.
A cousin's wife had bashed his new car before out of annoyance,she didn't feel sorry and yet she didn't cook for him for three days. He had every reason to hit her and beat her blueblack but he didn't. They are still married today because the guy treated her to her offense perfectly without beating. After asking the question on supremacy and choice of leader,the above quoted were the few response I got,which means that should there be an oodua republic, there won't be a problem or disagreement between the states.
I was a bit surprised seeing this ondo post yesterday and read through to find out that the OP clamours and gives reason why Ondo state would be the headquater of oodua republic. If we find other writers from other SW states,they will also bring out reasons why their state should be made this or that.
What I am saying in essence is that,should there be disintegration and regional republic is formed,the battle for supremacy and choice of leadership will bring disunity.

I have been reading your comments. It is obvious that your knowledge of Ilorin and Kwara is very limited for a so called Ilorin indigene as you want us to believe. You have been missing up facts here.
For your information Kwara is not just Ilorin. Most purely Yoruba towns in Kwara will not follow Ilorin since they are always at logger head. Kwara has border with many SW states not just Oyo. Ofa, Igbominas, Kwara Ekitis will rather join SW where they will not be a minority. You need to take the map of Nigeria and see that Ilorin is surrounded by Yoruba towns and failure to join SW while other towns joined will let her an island.

1. Most of them claim to be northerners mainly 4 political reasons
2. They exhibit LSE(LowSelfEsteem) because they've been so subjugated by d Hausa/Fulani oligarchs to d extent that they feel that their yoruba identity is inferior to that of Northerners or why do most of them hv to dress and behave like Hausas?
