Good morning mamas in the house, I'm new here and I am 33weeks pregnant, pls experience mama in the house I need ur advise ooh, since Tuesday I have been stooling like 3x a day and I'm kind of worried. All night I cud nt sleep becos of this. I'm worried for my baby. And my next doc appt is next Tuesday.. sabi mamas make una hep me ooh bfor I go crazy. What shud I do

Pls don't wait till Tuesday.... drink plenty of water and go today.....
Happened to me when I was at 22wks and next thing I started having labour contractions about a a week later......
My doc said it was dehydration that triggered it following the episode of diarrhoea I had......

Happy Sunday to all mamas, we shall all carry to term, pls come to my aid, I went to d hospital to complain about malaria cos I was vomitting yellow, they only checked my bp which is 140/100 and I was referred to see a doctor on getting to his office he wasn't around so I went back home, I checked back around past 3pm and d Doctor started complaining that I should have waited in d morning so that they can start induction that he can't wait for my edd, they have to bring out d baby cos of my HBP told him I didn't prepare that I will come back d next day. I left d place and called a doc friend, she checked my bp it was 140/93, did urinalysis test no protein was found(my hospital said there is protein in my urine) did scan am in my 37wks , widal test shows I have malaria and typhoid , so she asked me to treat malaria first and placed me on moduretic and Aldomet to control my bp b4 my edd (Team March). Pls to all sabi mamas am I good to go with this?

Really don't think u have typhoid fever cos widal test ain't diagnostic of typhoid....... malaria can even make widal positive.......
Urinalysis can be observer dependent...... moduretic isn't safe in pregnancy so not comfortable with that.......
Pls go see a consultant obstetrician......... 37weeks baby is term already..........can be delivered..........

In my opinion, the second doctor is correct. Induction with HBP at that stage is risky unless if you are going for cs. I will still suggest that you go with the second doctor's recommendation but if after treating malaria and there is no improvement please let our baby come. The almighty God that has been with you since the begining will see you thru.

Elevated no is not an indication for CS..... Drugs can easily bring it down......
Better see a consultant gynaecologist..........

Did u do an early scan?? Are u sure of your date?? Observer error too..... where did u do the scan??

It will vary more as the pregnancy gets older....
It is said the earliest scan is usually the most accurate......

Signs of Gestational hypertension and shouldn't be perceived easy if swelling does not subside with time..It could also be related to early sign to pre-eclampsia.

• you may need have food with reduced salt intake. please take salt for proper thyroid function and the baby as well...
•intake of diet with enough potassium content( is this not theory?) Talk with a dietitian on this,he or she may help with list of food having high potassium content
• Avoid use of caffeinated teas or tea similar..
•some experience mothers I have come across prefer eating bananas, try on it.
• Avoid sedentary lifestyle;avoid over standing for a
longtime too
•massage the leg or place of swolleness every morning and before going to bed...

Thanks.... BP and urinalysis are normal for now.... will keep an eye though.....

Lol. I had elephant feet form my 2nd trim. By 3rd trim I could only wear one elastic Kito sandals. So far your BP and protein test (I assume they check at every visit?) are fine it's ok. Also use one finger to press the swelling, does it remain pitted or it goes back to normal? If it's the latter you're fine

Had to go to my doctor today and he says as far as my bp is ohk am good....

Anyone experiencing or experienced it early like me??

So I noticed slight swelling on my feet yesterday, but I dismissed it ... Only for it to increase in 4 times it size today. I was glad I had escape the swollen feet. Please how did the sabi mama's cope with the swollen feet and pains. Laying on bed is so uncomfortable for me

Nor be only u waka come oh........ my feet looks like that of an elephant....... I usually have big feet now so help me God and we are just 23wks.......
