Getting to the third day the pain came back again with it's family....I jst don't know what to do,the pain is just toooooooo much......This is my first pregnancy and in this pregnancy, i've experienced pains in my wrist,under my knee,a shocking sensation in my hand and now it's my ear..please help me.

The only difference with labour coming on its own is that in induction drugs are given to start labour..........plus people say it's more painful.........

It dangerous for the Baby to stay in the uterus pass 42wks......
Think u should ask properly reason for the induction.....
Aim is mother alive, baby alive..... father with plenty money......
Plus there are other natural wats to start Labour....

I want to share my experiences cos I believe it will assist you in making a decision.
I and dh planned to have our second baby after the first clocked 5 but he does not want any form of birth control so I resulted to the rhythm method. (It took me 8 months to get a gang of it and coupled with the fact that my cycle is consistent) . That is the method I used all through the 13 years we had all our babies. I gave birth to my last baby this February. Before delivery, I have started singing fp to his hearing almost every time we are doing the do. He told me he is afraid of the many side effects : weight gain, cancer and all others.
I told him that previously you said it may affect conceiving and now, that we had stop child bearing you are coming up with another story. After so much going forth and back, he agreed that I should take a suitable one. So I opted for implanon which I did in March, till now, no side effect whatsoever.
In another news, I have a neighbour that went for fp without the consent of the hubby. The second baby is 12yrs old now.and they have been ttcing since she was 3 yrs old ( to the hubby sha. He didn't know that his wife is taking depo p.) After some years she started complaining of stomach ache and they were managing it at home. One day, she fainted, the hubby took her to their family doctor and that is where he got to know that she is on fp. To cut the story short, she lost her womb, her home and her children because she packed out of the house out of shame and the hubby does not gave her access to her kids.
My point is, if you can let him see reasons why you need it try to convince him. If he will not bulge, my dear, YOU first!! You need to be alive for your kids and your family and if you can adhere strictly to your safe period, you can try the rhythm method if he will be able to control his urges. If all this fails, A Yoruba adage goes thus "TO BA KO IWAJU SI E KO TA, TO BA KO EHIN SI E KO TA, TO BA KU IWO NIKAN, KO TUN ERO ARA RE PA. Men will be men!! That's my one cent.

You can't use your story or other story to compare.....
Like you said ur cycle was regular and Husband left u alone when u were not safe.......
Then God was on your side cos people get pregnant even when on FP......

Different strokes for different folks......
What works for u might not work for others everybody is not wired the same way.......
Plus how does Depo P connect to losing womb??.......
More to that story....... they just connect the thing together.........
Plus all these side effect people tend to mention like it happens to everybody....... everything in this life has a side effect....... even carbonated drinks, processed foods, just being female sef has a side effect.......
People get pregnant , get the best health care n complications can still arise...... it's just God that protects.......... only him....

Pls listen to your doctor and if u not satisfied go see another one ........
Ask to see a consultant......

Mamas pls help my situation. I don't seem to understand.

I'm 36weeks+ and observed yesterday that when i walk, it seems like my tummy has dropped. All through yesterday, baby didn't move around so much, seemed like he was stuck but could still feel his kicks but inwards. Tummy was also hard all through so i thought baby had engaged or something.
Today he has changed position cos some places hard yesterday are now partly soft. Movement is not so much, although active. My stomach still looks downwards when I walk.

Can anyone help explain what I'm experiencing. I thought engagement meant baby won't move around much but kicks should still be felt. Google not helping or maybe I don't know the keyword to search for.

Any mamas experienced this before or can help me understand.

Your abdomen dropping means your baby has engaged actually.......
But reduced fetal movement is always a cause for alarm......
Pls visit your doctor ASAP.....

i am heartbroken. i gave birth to a baby boy thursday lastweek and lost him on saturday morning. i had prolonged labour. i was in labour for close to 48hours. for the first 24hrs, i was dieing in pain, yet nurses will check me and say am just 2cm dilated. It was when they decided to section me that i finally gave birth, inside theatre room. my baby came out and did not cry, was very weak. they supported him with oxygen only for him to die after 2days. since then hv been in pain. pain that i lost my child, and vagina tear they gave me. please pray for me am finding it difficult to move on. pray for God to bless me with twins and wipe my tears.

Am so sorry for your loss mama.....

One woman was doing aproko to another pregnant woman about me today. I guess she saw the number of weeks I was when I was checking the result, I heard her telling her partner that my baby will be small cos my stomach is too small for 26weeks, I just borrowed ma'am ahnie's Isoko eyes.

Not really.... folic acid is necessary for the Baby esp in the first trimester.....
What makes uterine fibroids really grow are the hormones oestrogen and progesterone that are increased in pregnancy.........

My challenge is that I haven't had sex a lot of times is general (believe it or not), it's usually painful or just not pleasurable. So, I got married last year and my husband lives in Europe while I'm still in naija for now.

I took in after the wedding, now I'm 32 weeks gone. Not enough sex, he only returns once in four months (I thought I could cope).

I ordinarily always imagine how this baby is going to pass through my vaginal canal, it even gets me scared.
Now, I have been told I have a big baby.
The scan result showed feral weight around 1kg at 23 weeks, and the doctor said it was fine. Now they're asking me to go for OGTT, which I found out is usually because of big babies.

Please I need some reassurance that first time moms can give birth to big babies vaginally.

Plus this no sex thing, is it of any disadvantage.

One reason why I love this group is that it shows u that you not the only one going thru somethings.....
Am a ftm too... and we are 34weeks today.....

This week though I find my sef thinking about Labour and how painful it's going to be and getting really really scared....
The last time it happened I actually burst into tears.....

Not much sex too as my husband is out of town......plus I had a threatened miscarriage at 21wks so being on pelvic and bed rest......

It is well with us mama..... I just cry and pray to my God cos am so sure he won't leave me..... I trust in him completely........
