tony ayo: Few days ago i visited a friendly medical attendant to carry out a test concerning sugar content in my blood 'cause diabetes is now killing peeps more than AIDS, when the result came out, it shows that i have a high sugar content in my blood. Apart from reducing the way i consume carbohydrate and sugar, how can i reduce the sugar content in my blood? Thank you.

naijacutee: If I had a billion, I would start businesses to put people in employment so that they can help themselves and eliminate the need for charities, and give the rest to disabled charities. I don't think my life wouldn't be very different from what it is now, as I have no real desire to show anyone that I have arrived. Me and my family will probably live on 1 - 2% of the billions... Forget Snipper, Bagoon etc. Go to the Market and get Raw Chemical like D.D FORCE or something, try and spray on Walls(where you find blood and eggs) ,edge of the wooden Bed( please make sure you remove the Foam and spray too), edge of Chair ( use your hand to open the edges and spray, spray or wash all your cloths including underwares and sucks. Remove Carpet and sweep then spray at the edges of the room and other places you think they are hiding. Note: you might want to do this and leave the Door and Window close for some hours before using Fan to bring down smell. Try this for about a Week and let see how it goes. Make sure you use Raw Chemical because that the only thing that can kill all of them. Cheers and hope this helps.

My birds are about 4 months, though this is my first time but have learnt alot. Thanks to nairalanders and some other folks. My advice for you is start small lets say like 100 birds to create awareness or better still start 3 Months before a Festive period, dont feed them Grower, just Starter and Finisher and give them maintenance feed ration still when they are big enough for sale, seperate the big ones you want to sell in about a week and make sure their feeders and drinker never go empty. Hello, my birds has really improved weighing about 3.5k. Am selling at 2000 for now but hoping to leave some till december when I will sell for 2500. The business is not easy oo, but its sure worth it.

So, new customers who find out about my services through some other means and make contact. If they go ahead to transact successfully, trust is built. They are no longer strangers, so why spend more money to reach them? I just add them to a list (I use mailchimp.com for this, and it's free for lists of up to 2,000 subscribers). I then e-mail everyone on this list when I get any new offers, and anyone who gets tired of receiving my e-mails can unsubscribe at anytime. But I make sure I don't spam, so I have a very very low unsubscribe rate.

Press the Print Screen (PRTSC) button on your keyboard, then open the "Paint" application. Go there and Paste (Press Ctrl + V) the screen shot then comes up. You can crop to taste. I hope you get it...

What do you mean by creating a LIST?

How can one create a customer business list?

How can a business own leaverage on this.

LIST BUILDING is the act of getting your Customers and interested prospects Name, Address, Phone numbers etc. Look for a way to be Generous and you will make Money with your LIST, offer FREE THINGS in form of BONUS, make your Customers understand that you are collecting their details so you get reach them when you have PROMOTIONAL OFFERS. Make use of special days like Birthday, Esther, xmas etc to reach the People on your LIST. Make them understand that since its a day of celebration you are giving them maybe one tenth of whatever they buy, but make sure you calculate your profit before giving anything out. Make them understand tactfuly that if they can introduce their Friends to buy a particular amount of Product either gradually or at once they have a gift. People like FREE THINGS, by the time they find out you are doing these things they will make sure they alway buy from you and introduce their Friends and Relatives. With time you will have more Customers than you handle and you will have no other option than to expand.

The best way I feel is the best way of marketing is creating a LIST and using the LEVERAGE OF GENEROUSITY. A way of having even more Customer than you can handle!

kolokolobi: If I read you well you said you were diagnoseed with dementia. So trying to get by the formal educational system might be a challenge. So its obvious you are a business guru already if you could breed and sell...at least dogs. Train to be the best in the segment you have discovered. Train and develop yourself in business ethics..develop your network...build yourself. You may not need a formal degree to succeed.

Idango: My brother, i m also looking around for market for my broilers that will be ready by 3rd week of november. Now i realise why most farmers only breed broilers and cockerels for festival periods, but i want to be able to sell broilers every month and make it a regular income source . From what i have learnt, the options available to you to sell your broilers are:

1. Sell to chicken processors who processes and sell to fast foods. Their price is very ridiculous , i called two of them in Lagos ( i search for them on the internet) and they said they buy live chickens at N400 per Kg. so if you have a 3 kg broiler, you can only get N1200 from it. That price is most likely below you cost of raising you broiler to 3 kg. The only way you can make profit if you sell to chicken processors is to be able to keep your total cost raising a 3 kg bird below N1000.

2. Another option is to wait for xmas when demand for chicken is high and sell at about N2000, N2,500 03 N3000
3. Visit local bukas and hotel who may not buy from chicken processors and get better prices.
4. Talk to chicken sellers in the market.

The most reliable and everready buyers should have been the processors if not for the price.

Please my people if any body know other profitable way of selling my broilers, please share.

my advice is that for the first 30 days give the both light and heat. In the day time there might be no need of light because of sun but don't joke with their heat and make make sure you give them light in the night and 24 hours heat in the night and day time. After 30 days you might decide to only feed them day time and you dont need light since the sun will serve as light. Cheers

Gidigidi3: The vitalite and admacine you gave them was it in combination with vaccine or not? Are they available in our pharmacies? What is the observed growth rate due to your solution? Will like to know more because mine will arrive soon.

Actually I buy all my drugs at Enugu Ezike where I get my feeds from. As for the mixing of the vitalite etc, I use the back of table spoon. Lets say you have 5 drinkers for your birds with 4 litres each, you will put 2 back of table spoon vitalite and 2 back of table spoon glucose for each drinker for 3 day. The 4th day you continue with the same measurement but you will be mixing admacine and glucose for the next 3 days. In terms of giving them vaccine, we stop their drinker from about 7pm in the evening to the following day of their vaccine which is mixed with water alone without vitalite, glucose or admaccine.Cheers
