It's normal for it to get hot while gaming like what you have been told get MSI afterburner and check the temps you're getting against the recommended temps for you CPU and GPU

Haba! don't be like this na, have you thought of overclocking the GPU & updating to the latest drivers. C'mon there are configuration files & videos online that'll help you surmount this challenge & believe you me, they work a 100%. We all know a Ferrari is a million times better than a Camry Spider, but both of em serves the same purpose, which is to get one to their destination .
Nb: I also sell PC games. There are new generation games I'd tweak on Intel HD 4000 & you'd be very much amazed at how playable they're

I also tweak games but even with tweaks you can't play most games for example games that require a Gtx460 or Gtx560 are playable on the Gt840m with a few tweaks but if it requires a gtx660 or above then forget it.

your spider and Ferrari example is good, but unfortunately in the context, it doesn't. That you have a 840m and someone has an RTx 2060, both can't achieve same purpose at all, because the RTx will play even future games while the other can play same game even at 1fps.

You actually call 15fps playable Sorry to busy your bubble but anything less than 30fps is unstable although I can still manage 25-28fps but in most games 30fps is the minimum while some games are actually locked at 60fps once your card can't render it at 30 or 60 then forget it by the way I just checked YouTube and its still not running smoothly. Post your specs I'll tell you if it will run smoothly. For instance on a Gt630 nvidia and 8gb of ram at 720p it runs below 30fps around 23-28 but it's very playable.

yh you have a point there though, I never recovered from DURANGO WILDLANDS (android/mobile)....The whole of my island and everything I ever built,infact twas a great loss as I had never gave my all so much into a game like that before

how about dark avengers it's still available on the playstore but the servers has been down since 2015 plus no new updates so you're free to install the game but it won't open. It's was offline during the initial release but later they introduced online content but it was voluntary later on before they shutdown and abandoned the game i it the last 8 updates the game became online only

i disagree with the line that offline games is more realistic than online. it like you comparing a static image with a dynamic image that is always changing and improving base on latest technologies

they're both the same the developers actually decides how good a game looks besides am not interested how good it look, I care more about how good the controls and mechanics work, one example black desert mobile over 6gb in terms of graphics that game is superb but I had to delete it when I discovered its has auto quest, auto attack and auto play. Lots of online only games on play actually follow the exact same pattern
