It's about 6courses in 1st semester 3units each. You will be taking five departmental courses in 100lvl. You will take: SOC 101-Introduction to sociology and SOC 103-People and culture of Nigeria in first semester and the remaining three departmental courses in second semester(SOC 103-Introduction to basic Institutions, SOC 104 -Introduction to population studies and SOC 105-ICT and social order).

You will take two University's courses (GES101-Use of English in ur first semester and GES 107 - Reproductive health :STDs and HIV) both are compulsory for all students.


And you will borrow 3-courses from other department within ur faculty in first semester.

Am a SOC minor, that's all I know, you will really enjoy your course, but be ready to write and for sure jack as well.......... #gudluck mahn

None from the faculty of technology was in the list, does it mean that the engineering applicants have been fixed to their preferred course or that not all the score range of those not admitted were published

I choose, political science education, wen I registered for jamb, during post jamb registration I saw teacher education, i was worried and confused so I brought the issue here and it was clarify..... Unlike like before ui would release cut off for teacher education in uniform both science, art and social sciences.....a friend of mine choose teacher education from the outset but there's no cut off mark for teacher education as a whole rather all the course under it had different mark....now he does know here he belong..

which of the teacher education did he choose? Did he chose what wasn't on the brochure or what? And hope I saw urs?

they don't consider Jamb score, but am very sure you will get any course u change to. And if you are so lucky like demand SegunFlames you may still get mbbs, jus do the changes first when the COC is out. Goodluck man.

Good evening peeps, pr0ton congrats too bro, not sure If I did earlier, to those that made the cut off point congrats to u all on this trend this is just the beginning, congrats to those that had above 50%and didn't meet up with their initial course cut off points as well, if you weren't good enough you won't be among those that still have the opportunity of gaining admission, there is still hope, just note that there is almost no course in UI that is not good enough, in fact some have more potentials than the so popular ones, it depends on u, how you take it and quickly fall in love with it when u finally resume. Not all things can be explained, that's how God wants somethings. Am sure soyemiayodeji is now enjoying is course, same ere. My advice is not all will still be admitted with this COC, but I pray everyone on this forum would be part of this success story when they release the supplementary list. Now how to stand a better chance is by having the right information and changing to the right course that won't be overloaded again, coz this is what caused some ppl admission last year, most science students changed to Vet medicine when they could easily get some courses in faculty of education, and some agric courses. Pls don't hesitate to seek advise from the ryt ppl for ur Change of course, we could be of help here, and I hope it works coz that's my Joy. C my bio 4 chat contacts if need be, And lastly for those who will still insist on a particular course of choice, abeg if u know you won't take anyoda course they give in COC, kindly take anoda jamb, am sure with determination you will someday get your DREAM course, pls don't do the change of course, so it won't be a waste.....so oda ppl can gain admission there. Those waiting for COC, hnmm...... Abeg don't try to be anxious about it, coz the wait for supplementary list is something else . Just be calm, you will be admitted by God's grace, and don't hesitate to contact anyone close to you who works in UI, they could be of help here as well.

No sir you can't, no course with a cut off above 50% can be made available for change of course(COC). Just hold on for them to post the available courses u can change to, I think with ur 61 u stand a chance to get another course. Just pray and be hopeful. Although there are some category of ppl that can get courses not advertised.

This is a very good question, the truth is you have to face one of it, if you know you are good in academics just stick to it, that's if you really wonna be the (one of d)best, coz it will surely affect, mesef b hustler, am talking from personal experience doe, it's not so easy. But one thing is if you are smart you can't go hungry, there will always be less time consuming Gud biz or that could still fetch u cash.

The main thing is knowing yourself sha, coz very few still do well, (by combining academics with part time work/biz..... Individuals differ, nwyz.... .. Sha chill bro, one step at a time. I like ur spirit doe

Good afternoon peeps, pls watchout for information you digest, I would have also posted the fake cut off marks that was spread around last night, but maybe coz Information is my course of study. I apologize on behalf of the stalites that posted it, if you were in their shoes and you love to help others you would have done the same, coz the way it was sent made it look so so real to believe, they dint mean to tense u. And about the person that had a leak on some cut offs all the way from Jamb office in Abuja, hnmmmm..... am highly flabbergasted about that, coz what I know is that cut off marks are determined by Each department with their HOD's (head of departments), I Dunno how that has got to do with Dibu Ojerinde, but anyways let's wait till its released to confirm his informat.

Currently some departments already have their cut offs ready but not all, that's why it's not yet out.

I personally know that of Faculty of Agriculture, which hasn't changed from 50%. The highest student got 67%. Theirs is ready, I think I may be of help for the science students who would like to change to agricultural courses in case they don't meet their initial cutoff mark. I got an analysis of some Agricultural departments that don't even have a single student yet, so I think it would be easy for those doing COC to get admitted into these departments.

NOTE- The first VIRTUE you will learn from UI is patience. You just have to be patient with them.
